Bed was very comfortable and room was a good size

Pool was ripped apart so couldn't use. Not 1 piece of art or a picture or mirror anywhere on the walls, except the bathroom mirror. No bureau to put your clothes away if you are there for more than 1 night

There was hot water in the bathtub worked well. The heat worked well, too. Staff is always friendly. I've stayed there multiple times. It's a great value.

The most disgusting room I’ve ever booked in my life. The towels were still dirty but folded as if clean (literal crusty stuff falling off of them). Stuff splattered all over the walls and broken pieces of wall and hotel furniture.

quiet and easy drive

if you want a motel, not a hotel, that is well located, affordable, quiet, in a lovely village, walking distance from cafés and stores and antique shops, near lake, with huge free on-site parking, and centrally located between Worcester and Amherst for college visits, with a huge flatscreen TV, in-room coffee and a microwave and fridge, this is the perfect place. The furnishings are not modern but the room was clean, the people who owned it are very nice and helpful, the king size bed was extra wide and the bathroom nice and large including a tub as well as a shower. I don't like fancy hotels that require you to haul your baggage from a huge distance or park on the street, I would much rather have a Quiet family run motel where my car is just steps from the door and I can bring in food and snacks and have a dang refrigerator to keep them in! I am coming back for another 10 days in a week. this place would also be perfect for a family who needs economical but practical accommodations. As a solo female traveler I felt totally safe. Love the little village around it. it's very close to a confluence of freeways in Massachusetts so it was easy on-easy off the fwyto head to Worcester, Boston, Springfield, Hartford CT and through the woods to Amherst. But still mellow & quiet.

Furnishings and bedspreads could be updated but that really does not concern me.

Didn't have breakfast, left very early. I don't believe they had breakfast anyway.

No staff at the reception desk. Took forever buzzing and tweaking the intercom to get anyone down there. The guy who came tried to put on a good face, but took forever, and did not know anything about wifi, apparently. Tried to log me - and the people who followed, who also had a devil of a time tracking him down - onto his own personal network which did not reach beyond the office doors. So had NO Wifi. He was less than no help, wasted a lot of our time.
