lovely, enjoyable stay in a beautiful park
Great location and homely cosy property. Beds were comfy and all the kitchen amenities available. it snowed on our final day and the drive was cleared by the staff first thing which was a great help.
property quite dated. no Wi-Fi (which had its positives) but couldn’t plan ahead our hikes

great
great location and great place for travel. It was like a home, very comfortable. It is close to the Tunnel view and valley. The 3rd day it started snowing heavily, it was little concern about the road conditions. The owner helped removing all the snow from the driveway the day we left. I highly recommend this place.
driving to Yosemite west is more challenge, it is higher altitude and road is winding. So be careful when it is foggy or raining snowing.

Good
Great location, close to Yosemite Valley, in a nice residential estate. Property was spacious and clean.
The property is very dated. Squeaky uncomfortable beds, old shower with no shower head, old lumpy couch, cheap and broken cooking utensils. These aspects we would normally tolerate if the property was budget, but at the premium price being charged for the property, it really took the shine off the stay.

Catastrophical arrival. Old and worn down.
Not much.
The arrival was catastrophic as the doorkey was wrongly programmed (= not the 4 last digits of out telephone number as promised). As it was already 8 pm, it was totally dark, and things looked awful. Nobody at the upper level answered, even when there was light. We went to the checkin reception of the residential units, which was closed since 7 pm. We used the courtesy telephone there to call the 3 indicated numbers in case of problems. No one answered, not even the so-called emergency number! Calling and knocking on the door didn't help, even when there was light inside. We were totally depressed. After waiting in the car for 30 minutes, a miracle happened: a young and helpful guy appeared, checked our reservation, came with us to the house, and managed to open the door! He said that it happens all the time! This kind of ruined our evening, losing 1 to 2 hours of our precious holiday time, and it depressed us really. Never received any apologies. Further on, the unit is quite old and worn down. Comfort is minimal, kitchen design and gear old fashioned, bathroom seen better times. No soap nor shower gel or shampoo provided. We will not return.
