Good stay for business purposes.

Large room (suite). Beds are fine.

Pool small if you really like to swim. A big one in Sulphur, but had to figure out myself. The floor of the room was a bit old. Noisy air-conditioning.

Staff alone made this stay worth it. Will stay again.

Staff were friendly and professional. Check in and out were a breeze. My room request was honored. Room was clean and comfortable.

Restaurant had a limited menu. Could not get connected to the WiFi.

Location

The smell of the building… the breakfast… house keeping.. this is my first time staying at this hotel I have stay at many Holiday Inn express and have always loved everything about it and always had an awesome view review. The room smelled like wet paint, the air conditioning wasn’t in the best condition, the paint in the tub was detaching throughout each use, the water from the bathroom area soaked the carpet. This is the first holiday inn express that I have been to didn’t offer free buffet style breakfast. To call front desk you have to dial the hotel completed telephone phone praying that they would answer luckily after placing two calls I was able to speak with someone. Housekeeper didn’t clean the room nor did she put clean towels in the bathroom. Think twice before staying here .. if you’re in that area I highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn express located at 402 N Martin Luther King Hwy, Lake Charles, LA 70601… this is a Awesome hotel

The hotel is old!!! They carpet needs to be removed and replaced with flooring instead. The carpet has Olds and spots everywhere.

The bathroom was not clean

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable. Great stay!

Staff was very friendly and guided me to a few great choices for dinner.

Room where very clean. Space was just right.

Bathroom tub had a little mode around the tub. Low on towels toilet tissue was low and face tissue where completely empty.

Out at stay was great... would definitely return.

Very disappointing.

location was good the staff was helpful and friendly

In Lake Charles there is not much for kids to do so a hotel with a heated pool was appealing however the pool was not heated which we were told the would let maintenance know but the next day the pool is still freezing. We had a suite so we could use the kitchen, we put our food in the refrigerator only to find the next morning the refrigerator didn’t work and $50 worth of food was ruined. The hotel was pet free yet there was a truck with a trailer full of dogs running around the parking lot going to the bathroom all over the place and barking all night.

Superb

The hotel.was clean and the rooms was really spacious. I like the location. Not to.far from.the casinos. The breakfast was really good.

The TVs was too small in both living g and bed room.. other than that not much to complain about

Everything was as expected from Holiday Inn

I didn’t eat breakfast at this hotel. It was not included with my booking so I ate elsewhere

Overall the stay was excellent. Access was fine, location was fine and there was no trouble in or around the hotel.

It was OK. Reasonable price. But probably will try a different hotel next time.

Cleaning staff failed to fully close our door after cleanup. That was a little unsettling when we arrived back at the hotel that evening. The ice machine on our floor did not work.
