the yurt was such a cool and unique experience. I thought it would be more primitive but it’s just like staying in a cabin! with a little less installation but the fire does keep you warm! the gates to the park are super close and the general shop workers are so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back!

The Yurt was a lovely place for a family to stay - as long as you are all friends! We had our 3 adult children with us and found two of them had to snuggle up together in a foldout double sofa bed. The third was on the bunk over the double bed. But it all made for fun. The bathroom was fine and the water hot. Evenings were spent barbecuing outside on the gas BBQ and with the wood fire pit. All the yurts are together and separate from the RVs. We used this as a base for exploring Yosemite national park did not spend much daylight time on the site. It looked pleasant though and I expect smaller children would have a great time there. It suited our purpose. The nearby shop is only lightly stocked and food shopping needs to be done elsewhere. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

It was all good fun. Beds did creak rather a lot so you knew if someone turned over in the e middle of the night!
