Cozy Alaska Cabin

Cozy Alaska themed room. Quiet neighborhood. Fun to watch the float planes come & go. Nice hot tub!

Overall good stay but comfort could be improved a little.

Location close to homer spit

2 of the beds were more like cots than beds. My dad had a hard time getting out of the bed. Stairs were steep. Difficult to carry your bags up the stairs. Bathrooms were too small and toilets too low to ground. Difficult to get up off the toilets.

Nice location,. very clean rooms, beautiful setting!

We loved being able to have a fire at night. Sarah, the owner so very accommodating, even serving us homemade bread and honey around the fire one night. The rooms were on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our stay.

Everything was wonderful!

Everything was great celebrated my birthday there lady host made some home made bread for us it was awesome. The view was amazing hot tub could have been a little hotter but its all good.

Really wasn't anything I didn't liked.

disappointing

Based upon recommendations on your website we booked a deluxe king with balcony for this lodge for three days at a rate of $200 per night. Listed on your website as part of the amenities provided were toiletries, cleaning products, desk, hairdryer, kitchenette with dishes, wifi, electric kettle, It is hard to describe our disappointment in the accommodation (cabin #6.) I have been in the hotel/travel industry for decades and find the following unacceptable for the rate we paid. no bath soap, shampoo, hairdryer, tissue, cleaning products were in our cabin when we arrived. We had to ask for these items. the shower was constantly dripping and flooded the bathroom floor. Upon drying the floor we found cobwebs, a spider, a dead bug, and dirt in general. We were given towels to clean up the water. the shower was full of mold our combination lock on the door did not work. We were given a key the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work the lock on the window facing the parking lot was broken. The window could have easily been opened from the outside. The bathroom was so small anyone taller than 5'3" could not sit on the toilet as there is only about 13 inches between the toilet seat and the wall. The stairs to the loft bedroom are extremely steep and slippery. You could actually climb them like a ladder The king bed was actually two twins made up as a king. The wifi was nonexistent and we could never get connected there were no directions for turning on the heat or the TV. When we went to have breakfast there were no spoons. Additionally, we had to ask for a second coffee cup. The second coffee cup could not fit under the coffee maker. Needless to say, we would not recommend this lodge.
