Las Ramblas is an outstanding course in a dramatic, contrasting landscape that require the right club decision on each hole. Campoamor is very different with lush undulating greens. It has a five star clubhouse on top of the hill, fabulous terrace and restaurant with great views. New in 2010 is Las Colinas, a par 71 Championship course that blends naturally into the stunning landscape, running through valleys between hills (see picture). The nearest is at La Zenia, this is a nice mix of a lovely soft sandy bay with loungers and sun shades to hire, a beach bar for cold beers and snacks, rock pools for the kids to explore, a life guard station and a bar/restaurant overlooking all. There are quite a few other seaside areas within fifteen minutes drive ranging from small rocky coves to a marina and restaurants at Campoamor. Immediately to the North of Torreveija Town, which has a very large marina and two beaches, is Guadamar. This is the beginning of more than ten miles of wide flat sandy beach that seems to go all the way to Alicante. According to the World Health Organisation this area of the Costa Blanca has got the healthiest climate in Europe, and is one of the healthiest places in the world to live.
