The location was great & the room was clean
The hotel had a planned power outage when I was there and I didn’t get any advance email or notice prior to booking, they gave a vague letter at check in that mentioned limited housekeeping and breakfast. I woke up the next morning with no power in my room and was unable to get ready for a business meeting I flew in for. The hotel staff was unaccommodating in finding any alternative solution and I had to scramble & run around downtown to go to a gym to get ready. The bed while plush also only had 2 sheets and no blanket or comforter was in the room so it was cold while sleeping. Also when I checked in I asked the FD girl for restaurants nearby for dinner and she couldn’t give a me 1 restaurant and said I can look it up because “there’s a lot”. I overpaid for this place and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

They had no cups in the room. Were provided plastic cups upon request. But they have coffee makings in the room with no cups ????

The bed was comfortable
I stated when I booked that we would be arriving early and would like an early check in if possible. When we got there, the front desk staff was rude and said there was no rooms available. We waited in the lobby, and watched her check in several other ppl, when I again walked up to the desk to check in, again, she stated we couldn't check in yet.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Walkable and subway is right there!
The set up is a little strange and they do not have a "driveway"

The valet guys and front desk staff were really friendly. The location was perfect for the restaurants we wanted to go to and good walking distance to historic landmarks.

Great location at walking distance from City Hall. Big gym with equipement for a complete workout. Nice room. There is a parking garage across the street ($40,- a day). Also valet parking ($67,-). Nice bar.
Poor (no) view from our room. No explanation about use of the elevator (you have to tap your keycard before choosing floor) so every first time user is oblivious.

No soap in dispenser in shower/bath. No regular coffee in room.

Breakfast was good (but not cheap). The person who attended us at breakfast was excellent. The decor of the lobby is very nice - gives a good vibe and nice place to sit.
Room rates not so cheap.

close to center city, nice bathrooms and spacious rooms
the room had a dirty cleaning towel in it, and the headboards were stained with a suspicious looking substance

We loved the location and the rooms were cute, comfortable

The staff is very friendly. Great location, right in the heart of things - restaurants, local attractions, bars, cafes, etc. all within easy walking distance. The facility is clean and has all the amenities - restaurant, little shop for water, snacks, etc., lounge/bar with a little balcony. The attached rooftop bar/lounge (Attico) is only accessible by a separate elevator and reservation recommended but worth it - great views.
The building itself is a little small and the street level elevator lobby can get crowded due to that. However, the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious.

The vibe was great! Destinee in the Valet was a sweetheart…she got my sarcasm and ran with it! Matthew at the front desk let me down easy when I asked for the Presidential Suite…for free. And Kim in the bar listened to me and my stupid stories. All in all felt like family…the family you like!
Il was too stupid to figure out the Bluetooth speaker system in the bathroom mirror…Oh and we could have used some more pillows.

I like that it was clean and had a good view. The room service was decent.
I didn’t like the size of the room. The front desk staff was not as welcoming. Also, the bed mattresses were not clean and the blanket had a large rip in it.

I like the way it was set up and organized
umm nothing besides parking, parking is a big problem around there other then that it was perfect!

location was good. the lobby was nice looking. the bar was nice
The room had only one drawer for clothing, absurd. The bed faced the window with the tv to the side. very inconvenient. The fitted sheet on the bed did not fit, it had holes and was inside out. The fire sprinklers in the ceiling were improperly installed, no escutcheon, not aimed straight and left holes in the ceiling. surely did not meet fire code. The couch was not comfortable. The electronic pass key did not always work forcing us to go back to the desk to get it corrected. would not go back.

Nice location, affordable! Nice ambiance.
It’s a hotel so it is what it is , it was some stains on the couches and places in the rooms. could’ve been cleaner but they have a million other rooms they gotta take care of. it’s not gonna be pristine.

The location was excellent. Date nite dinner at Steak 48 and to see the Broadway musical CATS with an overnight stay at the beautiful Cambria Hotel. Check in was quick and easy. We had a late start for dinner and could not enjoy our $300+ dinner at Steak 48. We had to take more than half back to the hotel and rush to the Miller Theater. After a wonderful showing of CATS, we returned to our room to find our dinner had been completely compromised. Apparently, while we were at the show our room was reserved to another guest who likely believed the room came with luggage and an expensive Steak 48 dinner.
To add i sult to injury, the next morning, hotel guest services called me at 10a.m. (they believed I had already left the hotel) to state that I needed to finalize my remaining balance. I responded they could charge the credit card on file. I was informed there was no card on file. I checked my card balance online and found I was charged double in addition to the $150 hold for incidentals.
The morning guest service person, Shirley, was very apologetic about the additional charges. She did her best to assist us. Our late night food and beverages ($72) were comp'ed and the hotel charges were later fixed. I was happy not to have been charged double, but, we couldn't trust that our Steak 48 dinner had not been compromised, since every take home box had been opened. Practically a complete dinner ended up in the trash. Tough loss.
We will return to Steak 48 soon. As far as the Cambria, things happen. We don't know if we will return one day. It will be a tough decision. This was our first time staying at the Cambria. First impressions...ya know???
Hopefully it will be better next time...if there is a next time. There are other hotel opHotel.
***Hotel valet was $65 for overnight parkng. No mention of validation for hotel guests although the valet sign is representsative of the Cambria hotel.
