Don't be fooled. My home has TRUE 180 degree PANORAMIC views from every deck and room in the home. * This is my personal residence so I know you will be very comfortable and you will not be disappointed. Its like staying at your personal 5 star luxury hotel. * If wanting the pool heated for your stay please inquire with owner. SDG&E electric and gas charges have doubled in Jan 2023. The pool heating fee is $50/day for pool heating (87 degrees). Inquire with owner for rate and turning pool heater on. * If wanting additional guests above 8 persons please inquire with owner. Additional guests fee is $100/day per person for more than 8 persons. This is an upscale quiet neighborhood so security is always important for the home and guests. There is a Ring doorbell camera located on the front entrance door. There is an outdoor security camera system. (only outdoor, not indoor!). Located at the front entrance, rear garage entrance, rear deck and pool deck entrance and upper deck entrance.

What a gorgeous property! The owner has done a fantastic job maintaining this property. The outdoor patio, pool and jacuzzi area are well furnished and beautiful. The property is just a short drive to about, everywhere-- Torrey Pines, Sea World, airport but at night it's a peaceful Mecca where you can grill up some steaks, turn on the fire pit, watch the ball game and enjoy the AMAZING views of San Diego and the bay.
Beds were comfortable and cozy. Inside, plenty of updated and modern TVs for the whole family to enjoy. But, nothing was better than after a busy day enjoying San Diego's perfect weather than at night, taking a dip in the heated pool.
The owner was fantastic to work with. He promptly responded to a couple questions we had and provided some great local advice for things in the area.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house very much. The house is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and included everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We also enjoyed the deck and the amazing views. Mark, the owner, was very responsive to all of our messages. Overall we highly recommend this place. The one thing I would add is that maybe this place is not ideal for families with toddlers, since the first few steps of the staircase have no guardrail.

We really enjoyed our family getaway and Mark’s place was perfect- from relaxing at the pool, in the jacuzzi or sauna, or just watching movies it was the perfect spot. Also quick to get to the beach, farmers market and good eats! Mark was the perfect host, incredibly responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend!

My husband, 2 daughters (ages 19 and 22) and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home for vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the home is absolutely gorgeous. It is very comfortable, spacious and nicely appointed. The views are breathtaking, the neighborhood is lovely and the home is conveniently located close to all of the major attractions, beaches and restaurants. Mark was super accommodating and responsive. If you book this amazing property, you will not be disappointed. Our only regret was leaving! : )

My group of 8 friends had such a wonderful time at Mark’s place. We couldn’t peel ourselves off the back patio and the gorgeous views. Both sunset and sunrise were perfect and the various entertainment areas were great for our group to utilize. Would absolutely recommend this to another group as the location is ideal for torrey pines access as well as getting to the airport, downtown, and pacific beach bar/restaurant scene

Our party of 7 stayed here with an age range of teenager to adults. We really enjoyed this home. The pool, hot tub and outdoor fire pit areas were a huge hit. We got in late evening and sat out by the fire pit the first night and it was perfect. The owner has great communication and is easily reachable. Our flights changed due to weather and airline issues and he was very accommodating. Thank you, Mark, we really loved your beautiful home!

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The location was safe. The home was beautifully decorated. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. The place was so nice, we ordered food in rather than going out to dinner. We sat by the fire, swam in the pool, enjoyed the San Diego views, went for great walks.... This place is highly recommended.

Mark was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and made sure we could make use of all the wonderful features of this home. The views are breathtaking, the technology of the house is very updated and easy to use, the pool and jacuzzi were clean and inviting, all of the beds and couches were very comfortable, you're only minutes away from both the beach and the lively bars, restaurants, and shopping...what more could you ask for!? Oh and Mark even went above and beyond to ship me a bag I left at his house - great guy and great host. Highly recommend staying here.

Had group of friends 8 stay at house for annual golf trip.
-Main family room is rather small for larger group.
-Only one bathroom is private. 1 is open in the master upstairs, 1 is a toilet open in the laundry room at the bottom of a spiral staircase next to the side TV room.
-Futon/Sofa that counts as bed is rather small
-Outdoor TV by pool barely worked/was unwatchable
Listed 8 guests on my reservation. Host called day before to get full list of guest names, which I thought was odd and have never had anyone ask. When the listing says there is an additional fee for any person over 8 people, that includes even if they stop by the house. Host has cameras all over the exterior of the house, and counts every person that comes through. Was even aware that we had 1 extra person stay for one of the nights, which was rather off-putting. Host ended up asking for money for each additional person that stopped by, even if it was only for a few additional hours.

Marks house is a spacious and calming retreat. It is in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the city while only being a short ride to downtown. The house itself is great, very clean and has everything you could want during a vacation. Mark was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. Our group of 5 had a fun time during our stay and would recommend staying here. We will be coming back.

We all were happy with our stay. Location was central to many things. Kitchen was very well stocked. We especially enjoyed the outside areas and the pool. The owner - Mark was very responsive and communicative.

This property was everything we were hoping for. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Great views. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were lots of different places to eat, sit and relax. Mark was very quick to respond and checking in and out could not have been more simple.

Wonderful stay!
We rented Mark’s home for a bachelorette party and it was the ideal spot! The pool and outdoor areas were perfect for our group to hang and enjoy beautiful views including nightly fireworks. All the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was great for our large group. Mark was easy to communicate with and made sure we had a wonderful stay!

This property is loads of fun. It's up in a quiet neighborhood in the hills so you won't be bothered by the drunk partiers closer to the beach. It's got a great view of the bay, the perfect sized pool, a hot tub, and even a hidden little sauna.
The furniture is all very comfortable. We've got a family of pretty picky sleepers and no complaints about any of the beds. The living room/deck space flows very nicely for socializing. The house is so comfortable you won't feel a need to leave, you can have a great time just enjoying the sun, deck and pool with delightful views.
When you are ready to visit some destinations, you'll find that you're centrally located and just about 15 minutes away from anything you'd want to do. There are several nice grocery stores less than 10 minute drive away, as well as many restaurants.
If you're into luxurious quirky cool places, this is worth the trip.
