About this house rental

Situated in Alexandra, this charming house for $174 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Our holiday home is the perfect place to relax on the deck with a glass of local wine in peaceful surroundings, while the children play on the large section and explore the hills which are visible from the deck. Located within easy walking distance to the shops, and many quality cafes and restaurants, some of which which offer a courtesy coach. The famous Rail Trail is one block back. Walking, running and cycling tracks are aplenty, catering for all abilities. The track running along the Clutha River from Alexandra to Clyde (12km) is both shaded in summer and spectacular in Autumn. Lake Dunstan offers swimming and boating, whilst the river caters for the fisherman. Several fine wineries many offering tastings are all close by, with Bannockburn and it's many wineries is about 20 mins drive away. Alexandra Golf Course is close by, also Clyde Golf Course. Historic Clyde is only 8 km away, which offers fine cafes, movie theatre and wonderful old stone buildings. While beautiful Wanaka and Queenstown are only an hours drive away, our home offers a relaxing place to come home too. With Easter being early this year (Easter Sunday 1/4) why not catch the last of the warm weather! War Birds over Wanaka is also on this Easter weekend. Property suited us perfectly - very tidy and clean.... 3 bedrooms 2 bath, kitchen had everything we needed. 11yo liked big screen TV, Sitting on deck with a drink looking out over the grassland and trees was very relaxing. Short drive to shops - 5 mins drive supermarkets. Had a great time with perfect weather, would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us Frances!...... Darrell

We loved our stay here. Located near the stadium. The deck was amazing as was the entire house. And the open view was great. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent location to town. Very close to our favorite Cafe in Alexandra. The house is great and has excellent facilities. Only thing I would recommend would be a lockable outside shed/ garage for sports equipment. Would love to be able to use this place again. Thanks to the property owners.

Great location, quiet and sunny. Very well appointed with plenty of room for 6 adults to spread out. The bonus was the large covered sunny sun deck area. Close to all amenities. Excellent location for riding the Dunstan & Roxburgh cycle tracks.

Tucked away in a quiet area this home was amazing so much room for all the family, awesome covered deck and had everything ya needed for a break away. Frances was great to deal with made contact straight away very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend 😊

Fabulous covered deck for outdoor dining. The beds and rooms are great and a huge amount of outdoor space for family fun. Host was very good to deal with, Highly recommend.
