We stayed for one night at sunset reef. It was mostly quiet which we liked, probably because it was off peak. The surroundings are good, I was told every room is seaview. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner and breakfast were minimal as it was off peak season. We booked a family suite, double bed on 1 floor and two singles on top in the same room. What we didn't like was that the room was full of cobwebs and lizards. It looked like the room had been ignored and not cleaned for a long time.

only room was nice- most of staff are rude only one girl ( dont know her name ) but very friendly, smiling and helpfull.

food horrible, not great choice , bagets we have for 3 days - was old , not really fresh food mostly from day before ... you are far from any big shop so we got some small thinks in little shop but nothing to do there... even beach is far ....

Nice pool.

While some of their staff were very welcoming, there was a majority of them who lacked manners. The day I came I got a sniff of something foul in the room, but realised the next day it was coming from the bed. I asked them to change my sheets, and even though they did that, it still smelled. The 'manager' came into my room and inspected the bed and acted like I was to be blame, and why I complained the next day. He told me to 'forget the smell' and continue to sleep in it. When I asked him to smell the bed he then realised and told his staff to put another duvet cover on the mattress. It did not stop stinking. The eating area was dirty and disorganised. The rooms were dirty as well. Narrow road to get to the parking.

Breakfast: Only Half an hour after opening, was any sort of offerings made available, seems no particulr staff in chsrge of anything, difficult to identify staff since no name plate or uniforms visible.

The actual hotel was clean and the view of the ocean good, however the immediate grounds in front and on the side foreshore was disgusting with debris and human waste.Owners should seek government tourism authorities look into cleaning up this precious side of the environment urgently. the hoyel is ok, the viscinity is catastrphic.!

awful experience. wouldn’t stay again.

the view is nice

air pods got stolen by staff. roof leaking bath clogging up breakfast was never out on time, beans were always cold. mouldy bread. never any juice or water with breakfast until 8/8:30 nothing ever got fixed after complaining awful location 50 minute walk to anywhere good to visit. no taxis ever come past the hotel.

The staff were amazing and so helpful. In particular Vashishta on main reception. She was so helpful and got a few little issues sorted immediately. I was worried about staying in a hotel on my own but the staff were all so friendly it was a wonderful week here. And the sunset view is to die for

Lovely stay in Mauritius, we will book again for our nest trip

The pool and poolbar are nice, restaurant overlooking the ocean. Staff very helpful and committed to accomodate you in every way.. And there is excellent wifi in and around the premises! Complimentary clean tea/coffee table in the room was really nice! The location close to the best beaches in Mauritius is great, it’s within driving range to Grande Baie..

Rooms are a bit outdated and need some refurbishment here and there. Eg: our bath draining was stuffed and the refrigerator in the room of our kids did not work..

Excellent room facilities and excellent breakfast.

There was some presence of trash near the beach. You can improve your beach by putting on sand. This would greatly add value to your hotel.

Room for improvement

The atmosphere and environment was very relaxing and pleasing as well. The stay was worth the cost.

1. The maintenance side of the hotel was a bit poor. 2 Professional training should be given to the waiters at the restaurant and bar side. 3. Cleaners/cleaning team should pay attention to their language and manners especially during the night time, try not to disturb the people around.
