The property met all expectations / was easy to find and we loved the view from the deck!

This was a self catering option. The view was simply awe inspiring.

The house seemed a little musty from being closed up.

Very central to all the amenities, spacious & comfortable, lovely views.

The location was wonderful - very central to everything. We enjoyed the patio/deck area with its splash pool and beautiful views. The house was spacious and comfortable.

The house could have been cleaner. Also if privacy is your thing- there are quite a few cameras in the outside areas.

Smelling of mildew and damp, and not cleaned - an embarrasing arrival with overseas guests...

Upon arrival I could tell I had made an error in judgement by booking here. The building looked neglected and in poor condition from the outside. We entered the house and were greeted with an overwhelming odour of mildew and mould. It immediately became apparent that the house was filthy. Not only had it not been cleaned after the previous tenants had left (dirty dishes, unmade beds, towels on the floor, dirty pots and pans) but the house is in dire need of a really deep clean. I don't think I would have stayed even if it had been generally cleaned before our arrival. The only good thing I can say is that the host called us the next day to offer us the house for free for the remainder of our stay, but I'm afraid this accommodation is below par except for the fabulous views.

Good but noisy with the shows in December

Rooms were clean Great ocean views

One elevator was out of order which caused delays from the 11th floor - a staff member advised they the elevator had been problematic for a long time. There should be a separate entrance for the shows at night - hundreds of people enter through the lobby and resturant every evening

The property was excellent, yhoo the heated pool was out of this world and the fact that most of the rooms had ensuites was a bonus as well

Beautiful place,very clean , heated pool,, Beautiful views from the house,during load shedding we were able to cook and refresh with hot water, showers - water pressure Beautiful, kitchen fully equipped for self catering, really enjoyed our stay. Amazing place

A lovely house in a fairly central position. Too shaded and damp for us to want to return.

Location was fairly central to Knysna.

Sadly there was no instruction booklet/information file which would have been helpful. For example using the kitchen appliances, the washing machine/dishwasher etc. We had to contact the manager on the first evening to help us locate some light switches. The house alarm was not engaged as we did not know how. There were no warnings re the power cuts, three per day for the time we were there. Candles were dotted around so we used those. Some battery torches would have been helpful as some cuts were 6-8pm just as we might be cooking and putting the children to bed. There was a constant dripping of water from the roof onto the wooden decking whilst we were there. I did alert the manager and was assured it would be fixed during routine maintenance in May. Luckily nobody in our three generational family slipped up on the soaked decking during our stay.

Beautiful place in excellent location,stunning view

Gorgeous view, beautiful house, its neat, central location near to the harbour and restaurants,even with the few negatives we really did enjoy the place, definitely recommend it

The steps to carry luggage up and down, especially huge heavy bags Also house was stuffy like it closed for very long time, needs to be aired out. No soaps provided for showers, so buy before

The host was very helpful. She answered all questions that we had. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The view was to die for. e had all the kitchen utensils we needed and made great eggs with the pans :-)

The Jacuzzi was not working. Because it was cold we wanted to switch on the fire place but it was disconnected, the host mentioned that the fire place is only used in winter time

Absolutely amazingly breathtakingly beautiful!!! An awesome place to just throw down and chillax...

I loved everything about the property, from the friendly host who was my first and also my last contact at the end of the weekend to the beautiful property we called home this weekend. Lindy didn't get tired of us when we got lost which was our own fault, instead she kept on checking on us, this in itself made the start to the weekend really amazing...we had somebody who cared enough. She also checked to see if we were okay which is a rare quality. The property itself was so beautiful, we actually did not want to leave and asked what was the latest we could leave and for this reason we are definitely going to be back. The house (our weekend home) was breathtakingly beautiful and all the amenities were a bonus including the beautiful garden. So much so that we wanted to spend more time at the property than doing what we had planned to do. Wow, Lindy, thank you for an awesome weekend.

There is nothing that I did not like. I just loved everything about 11 Protea
