Stay away from this place!!!

Stay away from this place!!! there is a big gap between what is shown on the website and what is actually received. The accommodation is actually in another building used for offices and apartments. There is a loud noise from outside from the Bars until late hours of the night. The hot water is enough for two showers and we were 6 people. the hotel rreceptionists did not provide a solution or compensation. There is no advantage to the place except for the central location and even parking lot is a 5 minute walk. I was very disappointed with the service and the stay!

Great!

Location right in Piazza Grande and reasonably priced.

No air conditioning, so it was very warm over night. At least there was a fan.

terrible experience

nothing about this property was nice

the staff were rude. the restaurant which they served the breakfast at was dirty and the cutlery and plates were not clean. the property didnt have air conditioning and only one small fan for the room in 34 degrees heat.

Sleepless

the room was clean.

It was very hot on the 3rd floor and I couldn't sleep with the open window and a fan on. It was very humid and felt like about 30C in the room. I asked the receptionist to change rooms and she said "who's going to pay for it?". I'll just leave it at that. Genuis level 2 out the window, no breakfast included and no compensation for the terrible conditions at night.

Passable

The accommodation offered us a prepaid parking option on arrival in a private parking lot. This is good because it is very complex to have a simple and inexpensive option in this area.

We had many issue with the internet connection, after a while we received a temporary solution. The place was very noise, a recycle center in front of our room generates tons of noise and also a bar on the base of the building. the rooms needs maintenance is old and also without nothing like a cup to drink at leas water. It is a limited option. It is very hard to get to this place by car. Check-in takes place at the hotel and not at the residence hall. I emphasize this because there are not many parking options and it really was a big problem on our arrival.

Right in the central area and close to the parking. Nice restaurant around and shops as well , will be back for sure .

There was a kitchen there but not open to us and we only one bathroom with toilet for six person .

Locarno is a very nice town and the hotel is centrally located.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. We have been located in one of the apartments external to the hotel. The whole building was under construction. We could not open the windows, as all the dust would have come in. We could not darken the room, as these were under renovation. We had workers passing in front of our bed from 8:00 onwards. We have not been previously informed about the situation and no cost reduction was guaranteed due to the discomfort. I would not trust booking in this hotel anymore. After two nights we have been moved to the hotel. This was definitely much better.

Locarno stay

Location is great, was pretty clean, and locked local for bike.

Been lodged in a building in front- the place is under construction, meaning, very noisy, not that we expect for views but all windows was covered with plastic etc. far from being charming , Breakfast is more than basic, don’t expect much!
