Very good hospitality, great location and morning breakfast :)

Great location, very hospitable hosts! Lovely roof terrace and garden.

The bed mattresses were too soft for us - everything else was superb!

Welcoming staff, beautiful hotel

- Carla gave me a warm welcome. She did a visit of the place with me, made sure I understood how the keys worked and offered me a lemonade while giving me some recommandations of beaches / activities. - Room was nice and clean, the location of the hotel felt safe. - Breakfast was really good (and the view on the terrace is really nice!!!)

A beautiful and hospitable stay in the heart of Lagos

When you stay at 3 Maria's Guest House you become part of their home. Carla was there to check us in and gave us a super helpful map of the city where she pointed out the best sites and restaurants to eat at. she inspired us to do a short trip to Sagres which was very beautiful. Breakfast is cooked fresh daily on a terrace which gives a cute view of the city. Room will provide what you need and location is walking distance of many things around the city, especially downtown and a lot of restaurants and tourist shops. Carla and Maria are exceptionally nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend! Finding parking is very easy. Just use the map they give you. Parking in the lot a few minutes away is free.

Make note of which keys are used for what if you stay across the street. Bedding could use a little upgrade but it works.

BEST stay in all of Portugal !

we came in as strangers, left as friends!! such a welcoming B and B! breakfast was amazing in the garden rooftop overlooking the city of Largos!! Maria and Carla were gracious hosts!!

We really enjoyed the tranquility of the courtyards and the kitchen.

The breakfast on the roof top area was priceless. The layout was excellent and the tables were set so nicely and perfectly. The coffee was very good and the bacon and scrambled eggs were very tasty.

The one morning that we were able to eat the breakfast the juice seemed a little watered down, like maybe it was a mix or something. I don't know but I drank it and I was grateful for it!

Great stay, beautiful house… dong hesitate yo book.

I loved the character of the house, the garden, the cleanliness and the location.

the only slight inconvenience was that for our particular room, the bathroom was just outside our room. It was only a couple of steps away but I did have to mindful of listening if someone was in the hallway before stepping out especially during the night or early morning. however ours is the only room with the bathroom on the exterior. So ask for one with bathroom inside the room. it really wasn’t that much of a negative. the rest was fantastic.

Lovely time in beautiful 3 Marias Garden House B&B

Very lovely staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and gave us very helpful advice about getting around Lagos and the Algarve region. The breakfasts were very good, and they had a large pitcher of American-style coffee 🙏, all served on a beautiful rooftop deck overlooking Old Town in Lagos. Our room was also connected to a very lovely garden on the ground floor. We were able to walk to several shops, restaurants, the waterfront, museums, and more. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Not a complaint, in fact we loved it, but we weren't used to driving on such narrow roads, but again, we were in Old Town Lagos, which is where we chose to be.

Very good

They offer a boat trip that was much more expensive than taking it directly at the marina

If I ever come back to the Algarve, I'll be staying at 3 Marias.

Maria made us feel like family. Good breakfast, great view from the breakfast room. Comfortable bed. A living room area all our own and even books in English to read. Just a great place.

I wish we'd stayed there longer.

I recommend this for a short stay in Lagos. Staff was extremely accommodating!

Everything was very clean. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast was great! My wife misplaced her sun glasses, and they found them for us.

Parking was a bit out of the way, but not impossible.

-very friendly staffs with great hospitality - nice AC - clean and comfortable bed - great location! next to a lot of restaurants and around 10-15 mins walk to main bus and train station - amazing breakfast with great variety -spacious living room and garden - the terrace has an spectacular view

- the shower is very small and come with a broken door - the bathroom is a bit smelly

Perfect location - very central but outside the main buzz of the town. Very welcoming, helpful and accomodating hosts

The tight spiral staircases were a bit tricky with luggage - we couldn’t have managed our bags up without help

Excellent staff, excellent location

Location was excellent. Far away from the noise but within walking distance of everything!!! Close by both bus and train stations. The staff was caring and took the time out to tell us about the areas etc. The garden out back is a good green space to relax. Breakfast was good. They even went as far as to make as a to-go breakfast since we had to catch the 6:15am train.

While the room was clean, the bed felt a little hard.

Host, and all staff just so helpful and eager to make everything perfect for your stay. So lovely having a garden in the centre of the Old Town. Loved to sit there pre breakfast. Big shout out for Carla who served our breakfast on THE most lovely rooftop terrace. Nothing was too much trouble for her. As she said at 3 Marias they do not have guests but 'friends' - it is such a personable experience.

Nothing to put my finger on

Really just enjoyed everthing, from the room, the place and the host. Nothing to put my finger on. We had most interaction with Carla, and she was the sweetest person ever. Such a pleasure to speak with her. The other hostess' were also really sweet as well.

A gem in central Lagos

Everything.the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and home made . The terrace was so beautiful overlooking Lagos . The place is very clean and also very central ,close to free public parking. Quite Area , very relaxing

we loved that Carla was so accommodating to allow us to check in early. She took time to show us around and to show us a map of the town. Such a very personal touch! It was in a great location and loved all the extras of the place. Oh! breakfast was wonderful.

Everything was perfect and so lovely.

Everthing was perfect. We loved our sweet apartment with the garden and the view from the rooftop terrace was just amazing. It feels like home with an host who has a big heart and helped us with everything and in every situation. Also the service girls were so friendly and warmly. We would come back anytime.

Great B&B with very attentative host and staff: great garden, great roof terrace, great breakfast, very helpful trip recommendations from the owner Joao. We only stayed for one night but felt very welcome. We will return.

What an amazing experience! First of all, the location is perfect - on a quiet street in Old Town, it was close to all of the shops/restaurants/beaches but never noisy. There's a lovely garden terrace as well as a rooftop area for guests to enjoy as well. But what really sets this guesthouse apart is its owners (and staff!) as well as the breakfast they serve every morning. Joao and Maria are the best - they helped us book tours, gave us a full rundown of the best restaurants and beaches, and are just so friendly and helpful. And the breakfast they serve every morning!! So delicious. They were also kind enough to send us off w/ beverages and snacks for our early flight. Thanks for everything Joao and Maria!!
