The name on booking com should be updated (or guests informed): taxi drivers don't know Safari Lodge but Mansa Lodge (which is the same place).

Great location. The staff is helpful and kind.

AC use is 4000 CFA extra. 5 minutes taxi drive from the airport is 4000 CFA when arranged by the owner whereas it costs no more than 1000. Everything is extra and overpriced. They hide beneath the fact that it’s a « bungalow rent » rather than a full hospitality experience to charge all sorts of random amounts (like cleaning which was never mentioned on Booking.com). The owner almost canceled my reservation because I wasn’t answering my emails to confirm the booking confirmation… He wanted 50% of the stay paid beforehand with a bank transfer which is fair but so very complicated cause they don’t rely on credit cards and just assume traveler have bank accounts in Senegal? That part was ridiculous.

Lovely green setting with birds and animals, close to the beach and friendly staff. Spacious and private

Nescafé coffee and drinks prices in the higher side. Mattress not the most comfortable

The hospitality, the nature and the access to the beach. It’s a private property with a beachfront which I really loved. The meals were authentic! We also took a tour up the river in the afternoon and it was an incredible experience.
