The hotel is trying to make money in an incorrect way

Unfortunately, the hotel is trying to make money in an incorrect way when you stay in a 2-bed room with a child. When you check in, the information on the booking says that the third person-child in the rooms (not the cheapest rooms in the hotel) is free. And then the hotel finds ways to charge for third person. I did not receive any response to a written message, where I tried to clarify this a few days before arrival. There are a number of other minor comments, cleaning is rare (once every 2-3 days), the elevator did not work for a couple of days, the light went out 2-3 times, the pool did not work almost the entire time of our visit, etc. But this was not as critical for us as the additional bill at check-out. Therefore, it is better to clarify everything with this hotel in advance so as not to get into unpleasant situations with additional payments.

it was so comfortable room with amazing views. The bathroom was very clean with shattaf. I liked the location and the warm welcoming and helpful host. Felt like home. Thanks Elizabeth.

Superb

The Hotel is located in the best place in town, getting out of the Hotel with your ski straight to the lift. Staff are great. Breakfast is very tasty and diverse. Rooms are big, room for 3 adults is fine. Great Spa with Sauna and pool. Ski room that warms your shoes and gloves over night. Close to restaurants, grocery and shopping.

The bathroom in the room was a bit small, but beside that, nothing!

Greatly recommended hotel in Zell-am-See!!

Das Sporthotel Alpin is a WONDERFUL family-run hotel ideally located in the attraction-packed Zell-am-See, 3 minutes from the small bus terminal 8 minutes from the train station but not right in the noisy center. It is very clean and renovated with touches of tradition and the lake-view room with balcony was amazing. The owners are very welcoming. They gave me all the information I needed about activities and even gave me a short ride to the train station with my heavy suitcase. The breakfast had many options and they make eggs to order along with the fresh waffle maker. The saunas and small indoor pool are great to relax after a long hiking or skiing day and one of the cable cars is right next to the hotel! From May to September you also get the tourist card which is a huge bonus! I actually already want to go back to this hotel tomorrow!!!

The WiFi was sometimes a bit slow.

Everything at this hotel exceeded our expectations, especially Elisabeth and her lovely family (and doggy!). The spa was superb and the addition of the generously loaned bikes really made our trip perfect.

Bathroom has glass sliding door which is really weird for couples!

very very kind and friendly owners and staff. excellent location not far from the center meanwhile out of center crowds. the room was comfortable and clean. We had a room with lake view. the neighborhood is quite at night.

Amazing family-owned hotel where you definitely feel cared for

Amazing family hotel. Good location, hotel itself looks very nice and luxorious. Great atmosphere! The owners are very hands-on with the daily operation of the hotel. The hotel arranged the necessary transport for us and had the restaurant wait for us for dinner despite our flight delay of almost 2 hours. It was a really nice surprise for us after a very long and stressful day of travelling! Communication with the hotel is very fast and we could solve every question within minutes. We felt very much cared for and didn't have to worry about any organizational issues ourselves - everything was taken care of!

Room service crashed into the room at 9AM every day for cleaning regardless if you were sleeping or in the bathroom, even on the day of check-out, so that was a bit unusual! It would make sense to do the cleaning at 11-12 when people have left their rooms for the day.

Very nice hotel situated at a mountain slope

We were here for 4 nights because of the summer holiday. The hotel is next to a 'kabelbahn' and at 5 minutes walking from the city centre. It has a nice swimming pool and the staff is very friendly.

The breakfast options are quite mediocre for the stars the hotel has and the price that we paid per night (€200) which was relatively high.

Great hotel, recommended and will stay here again

Great location, a walking distance to the bus stop, and next to the city express and has a great views and far a bit from the crowds, very quite area, a walking distance from the lake like 400 meters and the main train station,good breakfast, you can feel the family vibe in the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and owners they are always smiling and ready to help (big thanks for the reception staff, breakfast staff and for the owner Elizabeth), this hotel provide the summer card which saves a lot of money , for sure will recommend and stay here again.
