We pretty much liked everything. It was great, that we could park right nexxt to the hotel in a private (outdoor) car park. The staff was great, we were warmly welcomed, and assisted with our luggage, and we also received help with dinner reservation and a fantastic concert recommendation in the fort. The room was spacious, with views over the Tuscan landscape. The poolm is small but is more than enough to cool down after some sunbathing and relaxing in the garden - which also come with a view + bar service (ice cold prosecco served in a very stylish little bucket). Everything was lovely, breakfast is plenty and tasty, coffee is also great.

This place is wonderful! We absolutely loved it! The staff are INCREDIBLE! The property is lovely! The breakfast is really nice and it's in a great location.
The WiFi didn't really work - the first few days there was none whatsoever in the room nor outdoor areas. Other times the WiFi was weak and slow. The pool closes far too early - 7 pm in the summer doesn't make sense. Many of the views would be fantastic but have poor design - high window ledges, high balcony walls, high hedges in pool area, etc. The housekeeping came even when I put up the tag on the door saying I didn't want service, turned off the AC every time (it was over 100°F for our stay), and replaced the towels we had hanging to keep.

The breakfast was good with a wide choice of items, and the staff were exceedingly helpful, even booking a place in a local restaurant when our flight out was delayed, so that we would not go without dinner on our arrival evening.

We love the rustic yet modern rooms filled with hand painted decor from local artists. The views are spectacular. The innkeepers are superb and eager to take care of a needs.

Montalcino is charming, the perfect location, to experience the beauty of Southern Tuscany - it also has various restaurants, some of which are excellent and reasonable; again the hotel recommended two very good ones.
When selecting a standard room, one of our rooms did not have any views from the window - yet the stuff was very helpful and managed to move us into another room. Once moved we had a very nice stay. Would recommend to choose a superior room.

The hotel is a beautiful building in a great location. The views are spectacular. The hotel was immaculately clean and comfortable. Elisa and Eleonora were very personable, nothing was too much trouble.

Everything about Hotel Vecchia Oliviera is perfect. The location is right on the edge of Montalcino, just a few steps from the town center, and with stunning views over the Tuscan landscape. The hotel itself is really charming, with lovely rooms, a small pool and even a lounge / game room area. What really sets it apart is the service, we were treated like royalty throughout. Parking is also convenient, just next to the hotel.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. It was warm but the AC worked great. The views from the room and the hotel were outstanding. The front desk staff was great! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Eleonora, from the hotel staff, was super friendly and helpful. She really made the difference in our visit to Montalcino and Val D'Orcia.

Fantastic boutique hotel, in a great location. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the swimming pool with its stunning view of the tuscan lnadscape. The staff was very friendly.

the staff are lovely, professional and welcoming without over compensating. location is fantastic, close to town but still with a great view. our room was gorgeous. also an amazing breakfast and pool area.

Location was great. Close to the center but enough away for quiet. Beautiful views, well appointed lobby and rooms, nice breakfast. Comfortable bed, towel warmer, mini bar. Perhaps best was the helpfulness of the staFf. They helped us in every way, including reservations for a tasting at a winery, and good advice on where to eat etc.
Can’t think of anything. All was perfect.
