Really enjoyed listening to the waves all night. We spent a lot of time on the lania. We could see whales throught the day! Took advantage of the awesome kitchen to eat here most of the time.
Don't forget your binoculars.

The location was excellent. Easy to get to wherever you wanted to go on the island! Facility indoors and out were well maintained! Quiet neighborhood! Perfect balcony for our morning meetings to plan our day!! Loved it!!❤️

The place was clean, well equipped and perfectly located to see all the sights, but not be stuck with the traffic and crowds of the other areas up and down the West Coast of Maui. Only detraction is it’s in the flight path to the airport.
So if you like to sleep with the windows open, to hear the waves (which you can), you will hear the early arriving flights in the morning. (It is not a bother when the widows are closed).

My spouse and two sons stayed in this unit for 8 days. The unit was beautiful and had all the amenities to make this a comfortable stay. There was more than enough space and the view was beautiful. We also appreciated the fact that beach chairs and other beach supplies were available for use.
With that being said, I would be remissed it I did not mention the cleanliness of the condo. The vent and fan in the master bathroom looked as if it had not been dusted in the last year. There floor was not clean under the bed in the master (you could see it upon walking in the room). The sliding doors on the master were dusty and fingerprints/dirt was everywhere. The television in the master bedroom kept going out. We would watch something and the television kept going to a black screen.
This was a great place, it just needs to be cleaned.

The pool was not very kid friendly with a lot of rules. it just felt like the condo was meant for people without children. This place is good if you are looking for a very quiet place to just hang out.

We rented a jeep through Turo and left the chairs and boogie boards in it all week and packed a cooler for lunches. This location afforded us the opportunity to see many beaches vs being stuck on one side of the island. The washer and dryer was so handy to keep our clothes and towels clean. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and misc items. So many details that I see are needed when we rent other condos were definitely paid attention to here. I would definitely stay here again if we ever decide to return to the beautiful island.

This location afforded us the opportunity to see many beaches vs being stuck on one side of the island. The washer and dryer was so handy to keep our clothes and towels clean. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and misc items. So many details that I see are needed when we rent other condos were definitely paid attention to here. I would definitely stay here again if we ever decide to return to the beautiful island.

Amazing Maui vacation
Location was awesome, nice and quiet and peaceful. Views were unbelievable, we saw whales jumping on the back porch almost every morning. We appreciated the new appliances and the big TV. No issues at all, it was stellar!

Beautiful Condo-very central location. Condo was clean and well equipped. Really appreciated the basic items provided (trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, dish washer tabs, etc.). My family wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We came here to celebrate my 60th birthday. My wife, son and future daughter in law were all part of this vacation. It was my son and his fiancé first visit to Maui. Other than limited things to do and see during the Corona Virus outbreak, we made the best of it. Beautiful condo, with great view and great location. We plan to be back next year...

Perfect location! Wonderful accomodations!
Our 6 nights at Kana'i A Nalu were absolutely amazing! We traveled to Maui with our two college-aged children and found Luke and Maisie's condo to be exactly what we expected it to be. The furnishings and décor are lovely, the kitchen is well-equipped and the beds were super comfortable. As important, the location of this property cannot be beat. We rarely traveled more than 40 minutes to any destination which allowed us to visit various parts of the island on multiple occasions. Haycraft Beach is within 2 blocks (an easy walk) and is rarely crowded. You can take the beach chairs that are provided and spend an afternoon relaxing close to home! When we began planning our trip, we knew we were looking for a fairly quiet, well-maintained property with a pool, beach access, and a central location that would allow us to explore various parts of Maui. We found all of those things at Kana'i A Nalu. Thanks, Luke and Maisie for sharing your property with us! We will be back!

Perfect central location for our family
We had a great stay at Luke's property! The condo had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The beach chairs, toys, and towels were perfect for the beach. The location is within walking distance to Hycraft Park, a nice and fairly quiet beach. The property also has a swimming pool which was a nice alternative to the beach. Bonus: You can also walk to the Maui Ocean Center!

Our Maui vacation
We had a wonderful time in Maui! We especially enjoyed the beautiful condo. Everything we needed was included including “beach chairs and an umbrella”!

Beautiful condo
I would have given this condo 5 stars except we had an ant issue. We cleaned every day but no matter what we did, the ants found the food. We ended up putting our dry food in the oven. They are itty bitty ants but a nuisance. My granddaughter dropped a piece of lettuce on the lanai, and within a minute, the ants were swarming all over that lettuce.
Other than that, the condo is gorgeous, air conditioning works great, wi fi works great, pool is perfect, the beds are one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had in a rental, and our little beach area was perfect.
Just get rid of the ants that are everywhere and you’ll have a 5 star accommodation. We would definitely come back if the ants are gone.

Excellent reviews
I definitely plan to return to this condo when I visit Maui in a few months. The condo was updated, clean, and had beautiful views with great sunrise views on the beach. On top of this, the owners were very organized and responsive. Excellent reviews all around!

Beautiful Views
The condo was exactly as pictured, it was perfect for our family of six. There is no cable, but we were able to log into our Hulu Plus account and watch all the March Madness games live, which was all we needed it for. The only thing that could be improved was maybe if there was more clothes storage in the guest room. There was no chest for clothes and the closet was full of beach toys, which we very much appreciated, but that is just a super picky comment. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Modern, clean and comfortable beachfront condo with great amenities
Everything about this condo was wonderful. Centrally located, near the marina and whale watch tour boats, with a few shops and restaurants, as well as the aquarium, close enough to walk to. The condo is nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our morning coffee each day out on the balcony from which we could easily view the ocean and frequent whale activity. Loved having the beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel sets and boogie boards available to use. We also enjoyed having the grills on the property to cook on. The property is quiet and peaceful. Would love to visit again!

Beautiful updated condo
Very nice condo with a great view. The condo had a well stocked kitchen and they had everything we needed for the beach. Luke was very responsive and helpful. Only thing missing from the condo was handheld shower heads in the bathroom to help wash little ones. Other than that everything was amazing. Definitely would stay again.

Your vacation condo at Maalaea is first class!!!!
I can’t say enough about my stay in Maui. With the full size kitchen which has everything to cook meals, emaculately clean, comfortable beds, comfortable furniture. The highlight for me was looking over the ocean from the balcony for coffee every morning and walking the beach. Thank you so much for my vacation if a lifetime.

Exquisite!!! This upgraded/updated unit is the best you will ever stay in. Just bring your luggage as there is nothing extra you will need. Top floor & top view of the pool & ocean. Sandy beach that connects to the miles long Sugar Beach area. Luke Knowles is immediately responsive to any thing you need (refrigerator needed a new water filter which was promptly replaced, this was the only need) Body boards, beach chairs & towels, kid toys, mask-snorkel-fins, and lots more. Very clean & comfortable with more than enough closet & drawer space for all you bring. The pictures in VRBO give you some idea of the beauty & completeness of this fabulous accommodation. 5 STARS *****for this unit. We will stay here next time we visit Maui.
