Neap Tide is a spacious, tastefully furnished apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms situated on the West side of Looe with its own parking and just a few minutes walk from Looe Harbour, old town, restaurants and beaches. Overlooking the ancient woodland of Kilminorth Woods and the West Looe River this apartment has everything you need for your stay in Cornwall. It is situated just half an hour from Plymouth. Fowey, Charlestown (famous from Poldark) and Eden Project are just 45 minutes away. There is a slope and 36 steps from the parking area to the property and further steps to take you up to the road the property is situated on. The apartment has wi-fi and TV. Stylishly furnished with 3 x 2 seater leather settees. Open plan with an oak dining table that seats 6. There is a washing machine and airer, fridge/freezer, microwave and an oven with ceramic hob. Well fitted with crockery, cutlery etc. Bed 1 has a Kingsize bed and a wardrobe and chest and an ensuite. Bed 2 has hanging and 2 full size twin beds and chest. Bed 3 has 2 full size twin beds wardrobe and chest. All have bedside lamps. Laminate floors and fenced patio garden (but not gated). The bathroom and ensuite have showers over the baths. A travel cot is supplied. (Situated under the bed in bedroom 2) All duvets, pillows, linen, towels, tea towels (but not beach towels), are supplied. Gas central heating. A toy box outside with bucket and spades etc. There are 36 steps and slope from the parking area to the apartment.. Arrival Friday 5pm. Leaving time Friday 10.00 am- this is to allow more time for the housekeeping team to clean appropriately while we remain COVID Conscious.

We enjoyed our stay but parking was an issue as couldn’t see which was our spot and the places tight.
Everything we needed for our stay was in the property.very close to walk into looe which was great.steps up to the property would be difficult if you have any mobility issues as quite steep

Apartment was clean and comfortable. Two baths were perfect. No car needed for any activity in Looe. Location was perfect to do trips further down to Cornwall (e.g. Fowey or Truro) as well as Dartmoor visits. Communication with landlady was always very polite, helpful and with quick responses.
We would come again to Looe.

My family, 4 kids and dog had a great stay in neap tide, it was a good size to accomodate us all and lovely views out onto the trees and river. It had all the things one would need to enjoy time away from home and feel comfortable. The hosts were also very prompt to communicate with us. There are stairs to go to the property, but we expect that in coastal villages along the Cornish coast, so to be mindful if you have mobility issues. It's also a great location to walk into town and pick up provisions.

We spent a week at Neap Tide. Spacious apartment, very well furnished. Great location and surroundings. Ideally located. Easy access to the quaint little town of East Looe and the beach. Great for kids and the whole family. I will surely come back again! Fantastic holiday.

Wonderful
An excellent base for exploring Cornwall, property was clean, well equipped and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Looe. The milk, tea and coffee where very welcome after a long journey. The only negative from our stay is that it wasn’t long enough! We will definitely return.

Apartment: We have just returned from a week stay in this lovely clean, modern apartment in Looe with our family (two young adult children and our dog ) and is just as depicted. Parking is just on the lane and although a little precarious to drive down was great to have a space to park.
Plenty of space as we all had a great bedroom and bathroom with modern furnishings and loved the fact that everything is available should you need it (ironing board and iron, airer, hairdryer and all cleaning items to use and even some tea/coffee for when you arrive !) .
Communication: excellent communication with Diane our host and great info on the website and in welcome book on arrival.
Area: apartment is in a quieter location with wooded area great for our dog, and just a ten min walk down the hill to the lovely town and beaches. We were able to enjoy two local beaches as we were blessed with a very hot week. We were able to go with our dog to the left of main beach and hannaofore to the right, and the children enjoyed kayaking at the main beach (dogs not allowed). Lots of shops and good places to eat in and close to lovely polperro to visit and the adrenaline quarry for activities to enjoy for the day.

Fabulous apartment in Looe

Nice quiet apartment just out of Looe town itself. 5/10 min walk to town for shops & restaurants. Spacious apartment with all you need. Communication with owner first class. Highly recommended.

Nice flat good position near to town
We very much enjoyed our stay in this flat. Communications with the owner excellent. The flat itself is quite spacious. Position is easy access to Looe ( 5 mins walk going to town but down steep hill so for us a little longer coming back!)but nice and quiet . Only thing the access to the parking space is a very narrow road then you need to walk up a slope and about 30 steep steps . We did not have any problem but those who are a little infirm this would be a issue. There is a EV charge point in the local car park very close to the flat .. no more than 3mins drive

Pleasant apartment for a stay in Looe
When we arrived, the apartment was clean and nicely decorated. It was comfortable inside and it would have been nice to have had time to relax in the inviting garden area as well, but there was so much to do and see in Looe and the surrounding area (up to about 90 minutes' driving time) that we just didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted in one week! The listing mentions 34 steps from the parking space up to the property; I found these challenging due to knee problems, but this was a mistake on my part, as I hadn't noticed the mention of them the description.
I would recommend this as a great place to stay for anyone without mobility problems.

November short break
The apartment was very clean and modern. Unfortunately we stayed when there was torrential rain and the access to the property was down a typically muddy lane. The floors within the main living areas were mainly laminate flooring so easy to clean very quickly. Communication with the owner was really good and helpful. We'd like to visit again in the future when the weather is more temperate.

Anniversary break
The apartment is in a great location, added bonus having the woods within a couple minutes walk was brilliant for our dog. Considering the forecast was originally rain every day we have been really lucky with the weather and other than one morning, it’s been sunshine the whole time. The apartment is lovely and spacious and whilst there was only 2 of us, there is plenty of room for a larger family of up to 6. The only downside is the damp. There is a dehumidifier in the main bedroom which helps however due to recovering from a serious pneumonia this was a strain on the lungs so just a caution for anyone with breathing issues. This however, did not deter us from having a great time.

Great location
Brilliantly situated property with all you require for a weeks stay. Property was peaceful & just a 5 minute walk to town. Enjoyed some of the best seafood at the likes of the courtyard & Papa Nino restaurants. Both adults & children enjoyed our stay very much.

A wonderful apartment
We are just back from a 2 week stay in this apartment and it was wonderful! Everything was absolutely as described. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and we spent some lovely sunny mornings drinking coffee in the back garden. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk, if that, into Looe. Be prepared for a walk up a hill on the way back but we enjoyed the exercise! Looe is a lovely town with bakeries and eateries galore (we tried many of them) and a great little beach. We walked to Polperro along the coast one day which was a highlight, took the little train to Liskeard, surfed in Newquay, zip wired in Adrenalin Quarry, banana boated at St Austell and still found time to relax. We would thoroughly recommend a stay in this apartment.

Apartment in the woods
Well equipped, comfortable, nicely decorated apartment just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Looe and it served our needs very well. The accommodation is accurately depicted in the photos. Unusually for Looe it had a parking space accessed via a narrow unsurfaced lane adjacent the property separated by a steep flight of steps. Remember this is Cornwall! Larger cars with low ground clearance may struggle to access the parking space due to tight gaps between other parked cars and the undulations in the surface of the lane. This did not detract from the holiday but Is worth knowing.

Fantastic location and proprty
A brilliant location in Looe, the apartment is very spacious and clean and also very well kitted out.The rooms are all of really good size and really well decorated as well as really comfortable.The kitchen was really well kitted out very functional too.This apartment also has the added bonus of parking for one car which is a real plus for staying in Looe.Communications with the owner pre arrival were really good if not superb and set the break off to a good start, comms included maps,house details and access details. If i had to apply a rating out of ten for this property, its location and owner communications we would be on a ten for sure.We will be returning to Neap Tide for sure when we are in Cornwall again.I could add lots more to this but suggest you book it and try for yourselves,You won't be disappointed.

Lovely Looe Apartment
This apartment is very spacious and perfect for exploring all that Looe and the surrounding area has to offer. It's very well furnished and has all that you need and more for a comfortable stay so we would definitely recommend it.
The parking spot came in very handy even if it was a little difficult to find at first. The steps climbing to the apartment really weren't an issue. The bonus of having somewhere close to park for free far outweighed the steps.
Crabbing is a must when you go to Looe and it was great to find a variety of nets, lines and buckets at the apartment plus other items for the beach. I would also recommend the coastal walk to Polperro but don't forget to check the bus times for coming back.
If would suggest you avoid the amusement arcades or at least be prepared not to win much.
Apart from that, just relax, enjoy all the fresh seafood and stock up on cider from the nearby Cornish Orchards.
