Villa Blackrock has undergone a substantial refurbishment and is fully registered with the Lanzarote authorities for letting. It is a spacious, modern, detached luxury villa, with large electrically heated private pool set in an extensive, south facing private terrace and gated, walled garden. It is situated in its own grounds, with impressive mountain views. The exclusive estate is accessed by code only and benefits from a CCTV security system which is on operation on the entrance gate and throughout the private development 24 hrs a day, ensuring privacy and peace as the only traffic allowed is to each of the 49 villas on the estate. Stylishly equipped and furnished to a very high standard it is ideal for two families with four large bedrooms and three bathrooms. The villa has high ceilings, consists of a spacious lounge and dining area and is beautifully furnished and colour co-ordinated throughout, with leather furniture and karndean flooring. Entertainment includes a flat screened TV with an extensive package including all Sky channels - Sky Sports, News and Movies and Disney channels, BT Sports. BBC 1 & 2 and ITV, Channel 4 & 5 and RTE 1 & 2. There are also approx 1,900 movies and approx 400 box sets available. IPod docking station, CD + DVD players. Playstation 2. 5G Wi-fi is fast, free and unlimited. Architecturally designed, three of the four bedrooms have large picture windows and the lounge large has large patio doors to overlook the south facing pool and tropical gardens. The kitchen also overlooks the pool. The extensive terrace sees the sun all day long, with two shaded canopied areas for eating and relaxing. Alfresco dining is enhanced with a Canarian BBQ and is a delight around the large wicker table and chairs. The beautiful pool area has a high degree of privacy afforded by raised lava walls, is not overlooked and the garden is planted with cacti, palm trees and tropical plants. The pool can be electrically heated. There is an additional extended west facing terrace for further sunbathing or this can be used as a play area. Cot and highchair are included for families with infants and pool toys and inflatables are provided.

We (5 adults and 3 children) booked a last minute trip to stay at Villa Blackrock. From start to finish, and once we were home, Julie was an absolute delight to deal with, making the process very simple and furnishing us with all the local information we could need.
The villa itself was perfect for our group with plenty of space both inside and outside and the whole villa being comfortable for everyone and allowing all ages to relax and have fun.
We couldn't have asked for better and would definitely both recommend and stay at again.

Villa Blackrock is a wonderful villa that has everything (and more) you need.The inside is very spacious and modern and the outside area has loads of loungers and a stunning pool and bbq area.Over the years my family has stayed in quite a few villas in Playa Blanca and this villa is the best yet.Julie is a brilliant host,great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous 10 day stay in March with three generations of our family to celebrate a milestone birthday. There was plenty of space for all of us and the facilities were great, the little ones thorough enjoyed spending time in the pool. There is a lovely bar/restaurant called Bailey's on the nearby complex "Jardine del Sol" which is well worth a visit or two - the food is fabulous. We would definitely visit the villa again in the future.

We've stayed in villas in and around Playa Blanca for a number of years now, but this is by far the best place we have stayed. Its location is quiet and secure, but within easy reach of all of the town's main locations.
The villa is fully kitted out with everything you could need for a stress-free holiday (including a full set of kitchenware, which is not always a given!) and is in great condition.
The villa is a great size, and worked well for us as a couple but has plenty of room and space for larger groups. Communications with the owner prior to arrival were great with clear instructions and info.
We cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be looking to stay again on our next visit to Lanzarote.

We chose this villa because we were a party of 4 adults and we wanted plenty of space for a decent price. We were certainly not disappointed.
This villa has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite + 1 more). The pool is a decent size for a morning dip (lovely and cool too, the way I like it! I believe it can be heated on request for a charge) and there is plenty of space for loads of sunbeds.
The villa was clean when we arrived and the bedrooms were comfy. As is the case with many properties on the island, there is no air con, the ceiling fans did the job though.
The property is in a gated area with a code needed for the front gate. Because of this, it is beautifully quiet.
The walk to the seafront is about 20 mins, all downhill. You can jump on the public transport scooters or get a cab instead, both are readily available (scooter - less than a euro, taxi - 4-5 euros). 2 supermarkets are within a few minutes walk.
We had an evening flight on the way back so I contacted the owner, Julie, to request a later check out. She immediately replied saying this was possible for a small fee. We were also able to leave our cases at the villa for a few hours before our taxi arrived - thanks Julie!
This was perfect for our needs (4 adult friends) but would also be ideal for couples or a large family/families group as there are so many beds and so much space.
We loved our week here and hope to return in future.

It’s probably 25 to 30 minutes walk into the centre of Playa Blanca, which my legs aren’t upto anymore, but everybody else walked.
We would certainly recommend holidaying in Villa Blackrock, and communications with the Villa owner and the Management Company are excellent.

Lovely quiet villa
We were three generations away for a family break in the sun. This villa is about a 15-20 min walk from Playa Flamingo/Playa Blanca. Really quiet and private location. The children really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was very clean and we were able to check in early which was great. Recommended.

Such a lovely holiday here. Grandparents, parents and 4 children aged 2 to 11.
The property owner was there on arrival which was lovely. The villa had been almost totally refurbished and was smart, fresh and clean. Very impressed.

Superb spacious villa
Have just returned from a wonderful family holiday. The villa is beautiful and substantial, easily accommodating our party of 5 adults. The property is nicely laid out and tastefully furnished; we felt completely at home from the start. The kitchen is well equipped for dining in and the BBQ was easy. Pool is large and was beautifully warm. A large patio surrounds the villa so you can follow the sun and find shade, however you wish. The property is located in a small gated development of detached villas; it was wonderfully quiet and we felt safe and secure. Getting to the main promenade in Playa Blanca is easy as there is a taxi rank about 5 minutes walk away, the fare is about EUR 4.00. Alternatively you can walk there in about 30 minutes. The villa is a stone’s throw from the Montana Roja - well worth walking up it and strolling around the volcano rim to take in the panoramic view of Playa Blanca and the surrounding area. Julie, the owner is lovely and made sure we were enjoying our stay. There is also a fantastic management team who change the towels twice a week and make sure everything is in order. I thoroughly recommend staying at this villa. Thank you Julie!

Points to be taken into concideration.
Had a lovely family break. Villa was ideal for all my family.
Bit dissapointed no water on arrival, I would suggegt a welcome pack should be provided, especially as children were on my booking.
Was surprised travel cot had no bedding and had to ask.
Also had to ask for high chair.

Awesome villa , great location . Great communication . Everything was first class , even the directions from the airport . Villa is up to date and your every need is catered for .
playa blancas is about a 40 minute walk . Taxis are just Round the corner between €3-€4 to playa Blanca center .
Hopefully returning very soon as just loved the island .

A lovely villa!
Our party of 5 adults all enjoyed our stay at Villa Blackrock. There was lots of space, the beds were comfortable, and the younger members of our group made good use of the pool. We paid to have it heated and it was money well spent, as it was comfortably warm. The weather was very changeable during our stay, but when the sun was out we used the sun beds and enjoyed relaxing outdoors. I can definitely recommend this villa.

Great stay
Great sized villa, private pool area with high walls to give extra privacy to sunbathing area. Furniture abit worn but spotless clean. Very spacious and located in a quiet, private complex of villas which added to security and privacy. Location around half an hour walk/stroll to the town or a few euros in a taxi. You can call a taxi to the villa and the number is supplied in the villa or there is also a taxi rank not to far from the complex. Our Tv broke whilst we were there(it was a new modern tv but the screen just died) the owner and management were quick to sort the issue. So if you do book the villa and something unexpected happens, you can rely on the owners to sort the issue out. We can recommend the villa for home from home comfort in a beautiful resort and would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful villa in fantastic location
We all had the most brilliant time staying at villa BlackRock. Can't praise the villa enough. The pictures are 100% accurate. Great secure,private location only 20-30 mins walk from the bars and restaurants. Nice relaxed vibe from everywhere we went. Would recommend the Irish anvil bar if you want a good point and some traditional British pub grub. All other restaurants serve a mix of traditional Canarian food and the usual pizza etc. If you fancy scuba diving, safari divers in Puerto del Carmen were great.
Couldn't have asked for more.

Beautiful property
Enjoyed our 2 week stay at this villa. Was a bit far to walk each day into the town, especially if you have elderly people in your party. We had a few problems whilst at the villa, we were without the pool for a day due to the pump breaking down and we had no water in the villa as a result which meant we couldn't flush the toilets, shower etc and the boiler broke down resulting in no hot water. In that heat you need your pool to be working and have hot running water. However that said Tina who deals with maintenance was brilliant and had them fixed within a few days. We never let these things spoil our holiday although having no hot water wasn't great.
Taxi stand was about 5 minutes walk away which was great and only 5 euros each way. Playa Blanca is a lovely place and a visit or two to Rubicon is a must as there are more shops and restaurants there.

Wonderful stay at superb villa.
We had an excellent 11day stay at Villa Blackrock in June. Our previous visits to Playa Blanca were at hotels, but our holiday experience was increased many fold in this superb villa. It ticked all of the boxes for us even surpassing our expectations. Well appointed, spotlessly clean, spacious lounge/dining area, cable TV,free Wi Fi, large bedrooms, full kitchen facilities, in fact everything that you could want. The outdoor area ,crystal clear pool , patio and sunbed location was very private, not overlooked by any other villa. Villa Blackrock is situated within the Villas Blancas gated complex with coded gate making stay very secure. Julie, the villa owner, was a joy to correspond with providing all the information that we required in a very friendly, efficient and trustworthy manner. I rated this villa as a 5 star but only because I couldn't give it 6 stars. Future visits to Playa Blanca will only be at this villa. Wonderful stay!

Worthy of its 5 star rating.
A lovely villa, well equipped and clean. The outside space is a good size and well positioned for all day sunshine. The table tennis is a great addition too.
The villa is about a 20 minute walk from the town centre but you can get a taxi at the near by taxi rank into town for less than 4 Euro.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Blackrock and the great communication from the ownerJulie, nothing was too much bother for her!
I would not hesitate in recommending this villa.

A real gem !
We loved your villa Julie! It is so spacious and clean and so well maintained. Having the option to eat outside at the dinner table beside the pool was wonderful. We ate every meal outside and really enjoyed our bbqs on the evenings we chose to stay in after long sunny days! Eating out was easy with so many great restaurants close by and taxis are such good value. We were so delighted with the standard of this villa and will be definitely returning!

This was our second visit to villa black rock and hopefully not our last!
The villa is situated on a private residential estate. Very private and well maintained. We absolutely love the area. We have been visiting the area for more than 20 years and 3 years ago we decided to try a villa instead of hotel-great decision. A villa gives you so much freedom. Villa black rock has a fabulous and spacious pool area with a shaded seating area-we had lunch here every day then ate out at one of the many restaurants in the evening. If you prefer you can cook a meal at the villa as the kitchen is well equipped with pretty much everything. We are already discussing next year in playa Blanca-can’t wait to go back!!😎🌞🍷

Lovely clean spacious villa, would definitely recomend.
We arrived to the luxury villa to find it very clean and spacious, the outside area was an added bonus, with a secret garden at the top, where you can sit and relax. Would definitely recommend, there was 8 adults and plenty of room. Highly recommended the walk up the mountain behind. Thanks again Julie for renting us your lovely villa.

Well equipped, spacious and comfortable.
Blackrock Villa was a good base for our stay. The small children loved the pool and we were able to have plenty of good family time, yet get away for a rest when necessary.
It was not an easy walk into the town but there is a bus and if you have a car you soon find your way around.

Great holiday
This was a great property. Perfect for 2 families. Lots of room inside and out lovely pool and good location about 25 minute walk to the port and restaurants or a very short taxi ride only 4 euros each way. Highly recommend. We loved the three legged cat who pops in to visit from next door. Thank you Julie

Excellent strongly recommend this villa thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish
When we arrived it was very welcoming to find a pack of food necessities including a nice bottle of wine. The villa was spotless and maintained to a high standard. The pool and surrounding area likewise was kept in pristine condition. The cleaning ladies who kept the villa in a perfect state were very pleasant likewise the gardener and pool maintenance man also very pleasant. The villa owner left us with precise instructions regarding entry to the villa etc and suggestions for places to eat and shop which was very helpful. Overall our stay was most enjoyable and absolutely no negativity with regard to the villa or the resort.. Will certainly consider a holiday there again in the future without hesitation

Perfect family holiday at Villa Blackrock
Stayed at the villa from 8th to 15th September, 3 couples and a 8 month baby.
Hired cars from autoreisen from the airport and followed the directions given by the owner Julie, arrived st the villa and instantly realised that we had made the right choice. The secluded pool area was perfect, we opted for it to be heated due to my granddaughter coming with us.
Everything in the villa was perfect. Would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would happily stay here again if we decided to do another family holiday in Lanzarote.
