With five bedrooms and four and a half baths, this canal-front home is packed with amenities, including bicycles, a ping pong table, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a pool table, and a private dock! It is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood for some great peace and relaxation and is just a short walk away from those famous sandy white beaches of Anna Maria. This luxury vacation home has everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable vacation for the whole family! On the third floor, you will find three of the five bedrooms, including the primary bedroom, which exudes luxury and has gorgeous water views, and an ensuite bathroom that is fit for royalty with a large double vanity, walk-in shower, and tub. Guests in the second bedroom will love the water views from their Queen bed and can refresh in their ensuite bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms are appointed with King beds and balcony access, and each has beautifully updated ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The fifth bedroom is perfect for the younger kids of the group and has a bunk bed with water views. A laundry room and a half bath on the second floor are available for guest use. The property management was absolutely amazing. We had a few issues and they were on it. Not only did they take care of the issues in a timely manner but they also did follow up calls to make sure we were satisfied with the results. We will definitely rent this home again.

The house was nice, clean, good location but many inconveniences. AC not working properly, fridge not working, had a replacement for two days and had to go downstairs every time we needed to grab things out of it. The deck alarm sensor fell down in the middle of the night and didn’t stopped making noise at 3:00 am. The pool heater didn’t work correctly… paid a lot of money for si much hassle we went through

the good: looks nice, the view is great, the people at AMI who dealt with our many problems were polite and they tried to be effective.
the bad: it started at the front door, the coded lock didn't work and could not be fixed all week. it wasn't the end of the world but more a sign of things to come. One of two furnaces didnt work. There was a delay in getting it looked at (I wont push since one of those days was Christmas) It was unusually cold out - the entire main floor was upper 50's at night and too cold to enjoy during the day. Our texts are promptly answered but the delayed vendor missed the fix on cold day 2, ordered a part on cold day 3, and we went 3-4 days with no heat in the main living and 2 bedrooms.
>no water for the great looking master bathtub - unusable all week I was told a part was ordered but in 6 days they didnt get it operable
>things missing or falling off walls - missing toilet paper rack (replaced after 2 request and 2 days) hanger, towel rack that fell off (fixed that week) The main living room curtains fell off the wall. I asked that they just take them away if they couldnt fix since we didnt need them - after a few reminders they were taken out of the house on day 5-6.
>the pool and hot tub wont heat when the air is below 50 - (I would say that is closer to 60) the system also only heats one or the other. I'll spare you the details on the service requests for this, I just dont think its the right system for a house that rents for this price range. Even the pool service person told me that a cheap screen to block the air off the bay would help
>a shower didnt drain, this was fixed pretty promptly.
>Service people and service texts: again nice people but I had to do all of the follow up. and they seemed to have little vendor control. I was constantly texting for updates. most calls you get different person and have to start over with them.
Anyone would expect so much more for the money. It's a good house in a wonderful location. It wasn't prepped well and there are some cheap materials. I would have thought that having what seems like a large rental company with staff would be an advantage, a call line, vendor pull - but in this case i think it hurt us. I got a credit but was told I couldnt have the amount I thought was fair. I dont need an apology, just improve for others, but I wouldnt do what I see you do with others and refute facts, I have a long embarrassing text list available.

Paying for the view & location. Although both where great, this property is over priced. Don’t get me wrong, the house is beautiful, but the patch ups on this house is why I feel this house is over priced. Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. The free trolley system is great if you do not rent a car or golf cart. Would have bee awesome to have a bathroom on the pool level along with a wet bar and/or small fridge for cocktails but then I guess we would not get our daily stair steps in going up to the kitchen to make them. ;) One thing that was wrong on the listing was the shared hallway bathroom. This bathroom is on the main level (2nd floor) not the upper level (3rd floor) so the people in the bunk room had to go downstairs to use the restroom. Our one main complaint are the beds. They are horrible. Very hard and VERY loud every time you turn you feel like you woke the whole house. Otherwise we had an amazing time!

Our group really enjoyed being on the bay with a dock and nice outside seating. Minor problems were fixed in the first couple days. We liked the quiet neighborhood and the quick walk to the beach. All in all it was a lovely two week vacation with friends.

The view was impeccable. The house was beautiful but needed some repairs. Pool was nice. Enjoyed sitting on dock looking at the water. Saw dolphins, jellyfish and birds. Pool table nice but pool sticks need tips and chalk. Less than 10 minute walk to beach. Very relaxing!

House was very clean and beautiful. Lots of space for big families. Pool was very refreshing. Dolphins and manatees visited everyday. Kitchen well stocked with pans, pots, etc. Pool towels were a plus.

The View!
Overall, great time. For what you pay, the place needs to provide better kitchen supplies and it was not cleaned to par with what I’d expect. We cleaned after checking in and found many spots that were not cleaned in awhile such as handrails to stairs.
The place is huge and great for large family. Pool and dock were out hangout spots.

Great location, nice property, helpful rental company. The property was not thoroughly cleaned and when we arrived I assume the previous guest left fishing bait in the lower room and the house stunk horribly. Also the kitchen items are very worn and would have been great to have "starter" items like foil, etc Like other rentals have proviced.

Bayfront paradise Nov 2019
The house was beautiful. Views outstanding. all had a great time. Minor complaints: Beds very squeaky especially the master suite. Semi-well equipped but for the price would expect better quality pots, pans etc.
Those are very minor though. all in all a great time. Anna Maria island beaches are beautiful, good resteraunts etc. we will be back to the island

Weekend Trip
For the most part everything was great. We had blast and love the location. The only minor issue we had was the beds were a little squeaky but in the grand scheme of things, not a big deal. Overall the house was as advertised and we loved it!

Fantastic location
Fantastic property with beautiful views which we will never forget! Saw lots of dolphins and a few manatees from the villa. Anna Maria Island is so pretty - it has a village feel to it. We enjoyed going to the Sandbar - the view was amazing! My family fished and mainly caught catfish off the dock and were trying desperately to catch something else.
The only negative thing I can think of is that the water flow in the kitchen and our ensuite was very slow, other than that all was good.
I would definitely like to return in the near future.

Very comfortable home with fantastic views and amenities.
We had a large group and everyone was confortable and had plenty of space. Kids really enjoyed the pool and pool table. Close to beach. Would recommend.

Beautiful home with awesome views from just about every window!
This was our first time using VRBO, the house was as it was pictured. Had a little hiccup when we first arrived but was corrected right away by management. Was overall pleased with the house, location and views of the bay. The view from just about any window was beautiful, got to see some manatees, turtles and dolphins in the bay right in the back yard. Was cute to see the school down the road had classes out in the bay. Would have been nice to have another set of bunkbeds in the empty room on the main floor.

Everyone loved the house, we had perfect weather so we sat on the dock most of the time. Very peaceful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice. Overall we were pleased.
Bay view is a pleasure. Several dolphin sightings. Caught a few fish off the dock. Beds were OK although the master bed makes lots of noise when you roll over on it. Comfortable, just noisy. Kudos for quick response when we lost electric in one bed/bath. It was a breaker switch that we could not find. Excellent location for getting around the island. Our first time to AMI and we will return. So much to do and see. Trolley and monkey bus along with rented bikes were great for getting around. Jen was always responsive throughout the rental process. Two minor items that could be improved. Need quality sharp knives for kitchen. Dishwasher lower rack has a problem rolling into place. The outdoor grill was terribly rusty inside and a new replacement showed up on our last day. Good for future renters.

Clean with amazing bay views
The property was very clean, nice and spacious with attentive owners, but Anna Maria island was substandard. The people (not the owners) were rude and not friendly, the traffic is horrific, and it is halfway underwater. Impossible to bike places with kids. There are many wonderful places in Florida and this island is not one of them. If you want to come here though, I would recommend this house.

Beautiful home & views, but bring everything you’ll need
There are a lot of wonderful things to say about this home. It’s immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, and it’s in an idea location. The owners are easy to talk with and their written correspondence is very complete. Check-in and check-out are seamlessly easy. The views are absolutely incredible. It’s the 2nd house down from the entrance to a canal, so it’s great fun to watch the boaters and paddleboarders come in and out of the canal. Every evening we would sit outside and watch the fish jump and all the various birds fly around. It was wonderfully relaxing. We even saw a couple of manatees!
What kept this house from being 5 Stars for us though was it’s complete lack of provisions in the kitchen. There are coffee filters, and that is absolutely all. There isn’t any salt or pepper or any other spices or oils that can be used for cooking. There is enough dinnerware for a small or medium group of people- but you’d be hard pressed with a large group to have enough for everyone. The skillets and other cookware are low quality. You are given one trash bag and one recycle bag, two dishwashing pods, a teeny bottle of dishwashing detergent, and one roll of paper towels. After that, you are buying your own trash bags and other supplies- which you will definitely need to do with a week’s stay. The owners prepare you for this in their pre-arrival information, but you obviously don’t get that until after you book. They explain that there are no cooking supplies because they throw out anything that the previous renter could have contaminated. While on one hand I can understand that, on the other hand I feel that, for the price we paid, there should at the very least be salt. pepper, and a week’s worth of trash bags in the house.
The house comes with coffee filters, extra blankets, one fan, several beach chairs, a couple of boogie boards, and multiple board games and puzzles. If you need anything more than that in the kitchen or otherwise, be prepared to bring or buy it.
One other thing to mention is that there is a smart thermostat, and it is controlled by the owners and not you. The house is programmed to be at a constant 72 degrees during the day and night.
But overall, the house is an absolutely charming, clean, and comfortable property, and we very much enjoyed our stay!
