Located down a cul de sac, set in a beautiful mature country garden boasting numerous shrubs and flowers, Villa Primavera is a secluded and peaceful haven. Situated on a cliff the villa is 150 meters from the sea and offers views of the ocean from the big shaded patio areas. The villa has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lounge and dining room open onto the patio area, perfect for meals facing the ocean! Great location: the villa is 500 meters from the Centianes beach, 1 km from the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro, set in a peaceful area yet close to all amenities (restaurants, bars, supermarkets, various shops). The villa's exceptional location and surroundings will allow you to choose to simply relax at the villa or take advantage of the numerous activities available in the near vicinity. A wide range of these can be reached without having to drive. The villa has its owns private closed garden of 1 700 m2 (18 300 ft2). We have discovered Portugal more than 30 years ago and immediately felt in loved with this country and Portuguese people. We now know quite well Algarve and its treasures, such as the other regions of the country for having worked and travelled through almost whole of them. We remain at your full disposal to share our knowledge and experience, and help you to organize a pleasant stay and visit, in this beautiful and captivating country. The property is sold as being on a protected piece of land with fantastic sea views and the Google Earth image shows no buildings on the land, however this is inaccurate as the image is old and there is now a large new villa on this protected land (built by the host). One or maybe two of the photos showed the corner of a building but not in any way what has been built. So, no open views to the sea, just a corridor view from the terrace, and in no way could it be described as fantastic. Add to this that there is no heating apart from an open fire in the lounge and all our clothes and the beds felt damp the entire time. The owner said this was due to a storm hitting Portugal, but our letting was from 13 October and the storm came on 19/20th.
I have rated the cleanliness at 3 as we stayed for 10 days and the bedding was never changed (despite our having asked on day 8 if we should have had clean sheets). As there is no dishwasher two tea towels seemed very meagre and we had to ask on day 8 if the 2 tea towels which were now very dirty could be changed and also if we could have clean towels and of course asked about the sheets but as I have said that never happened.. Clean tea towels and towels arrived on day 9 (but no fresh towel for the 2 year old). Added to all this the sheets were very worn and old, with the bottom sheets having become rough and pilled.
I have raised all these matters with the owner immediately we left following our stay but to no avail and VRBO said we should have contacted immediately during our stay, although I am not sure what they could have done. A learning point for me - complain immediately!
Perhaps I am expecting too much but for over €200 a night in late October I don’t think so. Following my complaint the host has said he will be reviewing the property description but too late for us.

Just returned from a fab week at Vale De Covo and have to say it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday.
The location is great, a short walk into the town for some great restaurants, bars and shops. The beaches are great and only 5 mins walk away, however it was a job to get the kids (and me) out of the pool to visit them. Cliff top walks with great views on the doorstep. All in all a great family holiday.
Will definitely be returning!

If you are looking for an old villa that is in need of updating then this is the quirky, tired place for you. The owners were quick to respond to the plumbing & drain problems, the new gas tank required on arrival . Replacement sunbed covers & the 2 broken chairs were sespped in our final week ( of our month stay) , the other numerous issues we found within the property we were assured would be dealt with in the future when the large villa next door they are building is finished !
With the huge choice of more modern villas to choose from in Carveiro we would recommend waiting until this one is given some much needed TLC .
The location & pool are definately it's USP but sadly not enough for us to return.
NB. The land mentioned in the property details that you can walk across to get to the beach & clifftop is now unaccessible due to new building works.

Great location
On the whole we enjoyed our stay , the pool was a great size and the gardens were well kept and beautifully maintained .The villa as explained is an old building and could probably do with updating we have stayed in Portugal a lot over the years but never in the summer months so found the lack of air conditioning a real problem nights were hard to bare, the outdoor furniture could do with replacing it’s getting tired , and the kettle would benefit to be full size instead of travel size so it would serve 6 people . On the whole a great location with only a short walk into town if the air con wasn’t an issue we would definitely stay again.

This villa is rustic and charming, the outside space is lovely with a great pool and lots of trees so it feels very secluded. It’s very close to lots of amenities though and easy to walk to restaurants.

This is a fabulous villa with everything you could need. Very spacious inside and big rooms/living area. Outdoor covered patio with seating which was a welcome shelter from the sun, and large well maintained garden and pool.
Only 15min walk from the town centre this is great place and we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect villa for our stay in Carvoeiro
We had a family wedding in the Tivoli hotel nearby, and this villa was just perfect for our group of six people, including two teenage children.
Access and parking are super easy, the gardens are wonderful, there is a great covered patio with table and chairs (where we spent much of the day actually), the swimming pool is an excellent size, with views out to sea, and a very nice walk in either direction to the beaches, restaurants, shops or just to enjoy relaxed hikes along the coastal path.
Inside we found the villa to be very spacious and comfortable, with a large living room / dining room to spend time as a family, good-sized bedrooms (one with en-suite) and two full bathrooms overall, plus a good kitchen to prepare meals and drinks.
Absolutely wonderful stay for us in Carvoeiro, and this villa was perfect for us - we stayed a week, and could easily have stayed much longer if our time allowed!

We found the accomodation was very generous with plenty of space for everyone.We were surprised how centrally located the villa was, but it was far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful.We have been coming to Portugal for many years and although it's developed a lot over the years it's nice to still find one or two spots of tranquillity and this is a little gem.Will definately be going back.

Lovely villa set in beautiful gardens
This is our second time here and we felt completely relaxed again, enjoying the sea view and relaxing by the pool. It's great to be able to walk along to the beach or into the cliffs.

Ein wunderbares Plätzchen am Meer mit grandioser Aussicht
Das Haus liegt auf einem Felsen, mit freiem Blick über die Maccia bis zum Meer, drei Strände sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Bis zum schönen Örtchen Carvoeiro kann man über die Felsen in 20 Minuten laufen. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants und Geschäfte.
Das Haus ist rustikal eingerichtet, drei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder. Keine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine.
Mückenschutz ist anzuraten.
Die Terrasse ist wunderbar, der Garten sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist riesig. So nah am Meer fühlte sich auch eine Möwenfamilie sehr wohl.
Den Grill haben wir nicht genutzt.
Alles sauber und die Hausfee kommt regelmäßig und kümmert sich.
Herzlichen Dank an den Vermieter, die Kommunikation war perfekt, die Abwicklung reibungslos und ausführlich, die Kaution wurde sofort nach Rückreise erstattet.
Unbedingt eine Tour bei Wildwatch buchen, um die Delfine vor der Küste zu sehen!

Excellent location in a private, secluded spot within walking Carvoeiro
This villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay near a popular area in the Algarve. It is within walking distance of Carvoeiro either along the coastal path and board walk or by footpath into town so you can use the plenty of restaurants that are there.
It is easy to explore other areas of the Algarve such as Silves, Monchinque, Portimao, Faro and the most southwesterly point at Sagres from the villa using the excellent road network. Supermarkets are in close proximity too.
The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It was lovely to use the sun loungers by the pool in such a well kept garden. Sitting on the terrace in an evening watching the sun set over the sea was lovely.

Great Family Villa
We stayed in October 2017 and were lucky with the weather. Villa Primavera is as advertised, quiet, but convenient to town and beaches. The pool is large and welcoming and the garden is beautiful. The villa is, in the owner's own words, not as young as it once was and it would benefit from a general freshening up in some areas (lighting for example), but you're probably not going to spend a great deal of time inside anyway.

A wonderful Villa with beautyful garden and view
We had a very pleasant time at Villa Primavera. The house offers everything for a relaxed stay: the rooms are tidy and convenient, the pool is big and suited as well for swimming as for playing. The garden is really like holidays for the soul. Already at the first day we were instantly relaxed. We felt warmly welcomed with a Starter kit“: bottles of wine, cookies, coffee and marmelade. (Thank you very much!) To Carvoeiro it’s just a 15 minutes walk and a well-sorted supermarket is reachable in 10 minutes by car. We definitely come back!!

Peaceful and Relaxing
We are just back from a wonderful weeks holiday in Carvoeiro. The villa is just lovely, traditional and well equipped for our family spanning 4 generations aged from 7 to 81. From the thoughtful welcome pack to the comfortable clean bedrooms and spacious living/dinng room we were very comfortable indeed. The pool was well used by all after a leisurely stroll, about 20 minutes, into town. The walk in via the boardwalk is lovely in the morning and also in the evening at sunset. The lovely covered terrace was nice for some card games and for breakfast when we didn't fancy moving for the day.
We really had everything we needed here in this beautiful tranquil spot with it's beautiful sea views. i have seldom come home from a family holiday so rested. 'We hope to be back very soon.

We loved our stay in the villa, a real refuge from the busy water park or bustle of Carvoeiro. It was relaxing sitting on the terrace looking out to sea or cooling off in the large pool. What a wonderful place!

Wonderful week away
We had a lovely time at the villa - the pool was wonderful and as we had a car the supermarket runs were quite easy. Very spacious property and beautiful gardens and we made use of the BBQ area at the rear of the property. All in all a very enjoyable week.

Mooi huis op een perfecte locatie
Een erg mooi huis met een geweldig uitzicht, een grote tuin en een mooi zwembad. Precies zoals de foto's aangeven. Je hebt veel privacy terwijl je toch redelijk dicht bij het centrum zit. Carvoeiro is een mooi en gezellig dorpje met nog weinig hoogbouw en tal van restaurants. In de nabije omgeving zijn vele mooie rotskusten. De locatie is een ideale uitvalsbasis om het zuiden van Portugal te verkennen.
Het huis is wel wat oud, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Het is schoon en wordt tijdens je verblijf een aantal keren schoongemaakt. Ook het contact met de eigenaar is vanaf het begin erg goed geweest, snelle en duidelijke reacties. Kortom, een aanrader!!

Wonderful two week holiday in tranquil villa.
I spent a long time researching where to stay for our holiday as it was to be a bit of a one off for us, our usual hols being spent in Britain in somewhat cooler and generally wetter climes. We were not disapointed, the villa is classic, spacious, comfortable and homely. We didn't find the lack of air con too difficult as we just put a fan in each bedroom. The pool is great and large enough for a family to have fun in. We had tranquil breakfasts on the covered verranda and bbqs in the evening. The mature garden us beautiful and the sea views and sunsets were lovely. Two beaches are within ten minutes walking distance and Carveiro is only 20-25 mins walk away. There is help on hand only a phone call away if you need it which we did as I locked us out one evening...oops...and the welcome pack was also a god send as we had a late flight and just missed the supermarket. I have nothing negative to say as everything was fantastic and the house cleaner and gardener were also lovely....So thank you for enabling us to come home with wonderful memories after a fabulous holiday..! ..Julia, Carl and boys...

Great villa with fantastic view and pool!
We had a fantastic week. We were four adults and three little children, no problem with space. The weather was really hot so the pool was necessary, we stayed in there for the most time..
Great view from the veranda. Clean, quite and well equipped. Great beaches within walking distance.

Beautiful sea view location
Really beautiful sea view location.
Location is quiet and private (borders mainly the inhabited land, the private garden and pool not overlooked by neighbours) though walking distance to Carvoeiro and to the beach.
Spacious beautiful garden, large covered terrace with impressive sunset sea view.
The owners are communicative and reactive to inquiries or problems.
Water pressure/volume was limited: you have two bathrooms and the kitchen but should open water only in one of those at a time. Even flushing toilet downgrades water in shower for a couple of minutes. Not a real problem.
Wi-fi available in house and terrace was sufficient for holiday regime though I would recommend to increase the speed/data volume.

Would happily give 4 stars with air-conditioning!
There is a lot of very good points about this villa. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with lovely view towards the sea and a nice large private swimming pool in a large mature garden. The location is great 5 minutes drive to the lovely village of Carvoeiro and 10 minutes walk down to the beautiful beach of Centianes. There are a few supermarkets within 10 minutes drive away. There is a large and clean waterpark which proved a big hit with our children just 15minutes drive away.
The transaction itself was very smooth with great communication from the owner and a housekeeper available if you need anything once there. Everything was also very clean.
On the downside this is an old house with some minor issues like a rather temperamental water supply which might cause frustration when showering or doing the washing up. The kitchen is on the small side and dark with little in terms of cupboard space and lighting but well, as my children said, we mostly live outside don't we? Otherwise everything you need in terms of cookware, tableware and cutlery is well stocked.
The big downside for us, which will prevent us to use the villa again in summer, was the lack of airconditioning. The heat was retained in the house at night despite all our efforts and sleep has been very difficult despite the use of the small fans found in the villa. Even my 10y old son who usually sleeps through anything complained a lot. We had the chance to spend our second week holiday in another villa which was equipped with air-condition in the bedrooms and that made all the difference!!

Fast ein Traum (haus)
Wir waren 10 Tage als Freunde vor Ort, leider hat das Wetter nicht so ganz mitgespielt - meist kalt, windig und zeitweise Regen. Insofern konnten wir die angenehmen Seiten dieses Hauses nicht so nutzen wie wir es gerne getan hätten.
Der Garten mit Swimmingpool ist riesig und gepflegt. Der Blick von der geräumigen Terrasse ist Urlaub pur. Bei Sommerhitze kann man es dort bestimmt gut aushalten. Das Haus selbst ist innen etwas dunkel - wir mussten uns häufig drinnen aufhalten -, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht und es wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Zimmer sind unterschiedlich. Das größte Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und ein bequemes Doppelbett, die beiden anderen kleineren Zimmer teilen sich ein Duschbad, bei dem leider das Wasser nicht richtig abfließt. Hier hatte ich einen Punktabzug überlegt.
Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal, man ist auch zu Fuß schnell im Ort oder am Strand und hat doch seine Ruhe.
Der Vermieterin ein herzliches Dankeschön für die Gastfreundschaft und die reibungslose Abwicklung aller Formalitäten.

2 traumhafte Wochen an der Algarve
Wir (ein Ehepaar) hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Villa Primavera. Der Garten und der Pool sind der perfekte Ort wenn man sich erholen will. Mit dem Mietwagen oder auch zu Fuß ist man in nur wenigen Minuten im Ort, wo es tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch viele Restaurants und Bars gibt. Es war alles wie auf der Webseite beschrieben und auch die Abwicklung hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Wir können diese Objekt nur Empfehlen.
Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Very nice place, charming house and garden
It was our second stay in this location (Sept. 2013 and Sept. 2014) because with love it! Very charming house with a large surrounding terrace situated in a nice and private garden with pool and many plants and a look to the ocean.
If we can we would like to come back!

Fantastic villa, great location
Fantastic villa with nice amenities. Great pool. Beautiful views of the sunset over the ocean. Easy walk to Carvoeiro for shopping and restaurants. Located within a short, 10-minute drive to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Praia da Marinha. Very nice and responsive owner, house manager, and maid. Would rent again without hesitation.
