Lovely stay in a family home!

The host is a wonderful woman, she is a mom of six kids with a good sense of humor. We were also there with our 2 little kids and they felt totally at home there. She is also a good cook.

Nothing, except maybe, the water that you buy there is a bit expensive - 4 times the prices as in a shop beside te road) I know its because its hard to get it there, but just so you know ;)

Great place to stay, run by a great person

Lhoren is very welcoming, she treated us almost like our kids. Don't expect luxury of course but her home is quite lovely, mostly wooden. Also, what she cooks is delicious, so even if you don't sleep at her place it's worth stopping for eating or drinking something.

The shower room could be better maintained.

- size of room - mosquito net - transfer from Banaue (additionally paid)

- looks better in the internet than in the reality - toilet next to dining room so you have no "peace" making a pee and ... - terrace on the rooftop but without equipment (there is no even a chair) - WiFi is available but you have to pay for any hour

Welcomed by a nice couple and their family, location is great, right on the start of the path to trek around Batad rice terraces. You can take a hot shower and have a great food, well cook by Lorhen with fresh, tasty and organic products. They also provide services as tout guide, massage, etc ...

Very good

Amazing views over the Batad rice terraces and the host was very friendly and lovely, helping with transport also. Lovely food including the local rice.

As expected slightly more rudimentary toilet and shower facilities, but everything was very clean. Beds were too firm for me after a long day of walking the terraces!

Very friendly family living in a lovely village. Rooms were clean & tidy, they gave us free WiFi coupons. Food was delicious & let us harvest a couple of pomelo.

For Batad: lovely.

For what can be expected in Batad, Lhorens Inn and Restaurant provides good rooms, appropriate facilities, and great food at good prices. Lhoren is very friendly and accommodating. Given the location we were also surprised to not find as many insects or bugs as one might expect. The specific location within Batad is great, about halfway down, providing good walking access to the local attractions and activities.

The mosquito net had plenty of large holes. Also, not so much a criticism on Lhorens Inn and Restaurant, but Batad itself; you are staying in an incredibly rural area, and will likely be woken at dawn by the chickens, and if you're unlucky with the weather there would be nothing to do.

Wonderful

Beautiful homestay close to the Batad rice terraces. We got a room with a view to the terraces, the beds felt comfortable (they have anti-mosquito net) and hot shower was available in the bathroom. Lhoren is so friendly and prepares great food for reasonable prices.

Only small details like no outlets in the room, no tanduay nor red horse available, and you could spy through a small spot in the door of the room 4 even when door closed.

Rest and Peace in Batad !

Do not search elsewhere, Loren's Inn is the place you have to stay during you trip at Batad ! We enjoyed a relaxing stay among Lhoren's family ; her cooking is very great, we had all our meals within ; her husband Romy is an experimented guide who made for us a nice planning to discover the best places of the area. If you are lucky to get in the room number 4, the last one on the right, you will found in love with the morning view. The confort is basic but enough and we really appreciated the hot shower, and even the hairdryer. Thank you to all the family, even the dog, to having been such welcoming with us and thoughtful, we felt in peace with you. My wife had a tear in her eye when the moment to leave had come. We wish you all the best !

We had a great time staying in this INN.

Two nights and three days stayed in the inn.The Inn situated close to the amphitheater of Batad.The food served at reasonable price. Room spaces are enough for backpackers. I'm happy sleeping with mosquito net.Towels,charging station for phone are free(or already included in hotel price). There is hot water for shower.NO internet connection in the village, you don't have choice you will spend a lot of time chatting with your accompany.

I don't like the toilet, its not "flush system".
