It was the best experience I have ever had in my years of traveling the Philippines. You could not ask for better accommodations A beautiful place lots of room to hang out for free time.(huge Rooms, great Wi-Fi, awesome food ) The owner and all the staff treated us like relatives they had not seen in a very long time. Every resort and hotel I have ever stayed in over the years could take lessons from this place. They set new standards. Not to mention a 3 minute walk to the semi private beach. And 5 minute ride to white beach with all different types of food and night life. What an awesome place and priced well below value for your money. Do I recommend, I’d say it’s your loss if don’t stay here. I can say more but you really have to experience.

There is literally nothing not to like.

The staffs especially Ms. Macrina and Ms. Charles were really a great host and very approachable. Their breakfast is one of the best. Feels like having a second family with their homey accommodation.

That I have to leave the amazing place and go back to the normal routine.

Ate Macrina is so accommodating, and so is Charles. Although she was busy with her Food Shop, she made sure that we get everything we need. I thought people who's given a review was exaggerating when they said that her food is nice. But they weren't. She really is a good cook. And that's big coming from our family, since my sister is a chef. It's very close to Aninuan Beach which for me is better than the White Beach. It's really quiet and peaceful and there weren't that many people around unlike the White Beach which is very crowded now. But if you want the night life, and buy stuff like souvenirs, you can go to the White Beach. It's only a 3 minute drive. It's not our first time in Puerto Galera. It's our go-to vacation place but Macrina's place is the one I liked the most. Because of the quietness. Definitely going back!

Whaaat a wonderful stay we've had. So wonderful people, Macrina, Charles, Belle (and the guests Gary and Anthony). Leaving after three days and we already take them in our hearts. The breakfast is the best we've had in Philippines (even compared to much more expensive places). Macrina is a cook and an extraordinary one. She adapted for us eating vegetarian and not just anything to check the box, delicious food. We went to the karaoke with them at Macrinas restaurant and had a great night. Lots of laughs. The beach, 3 minutes walk, is great. We went snorkeling and enjoyed it. A stay we just won't forget.

The cleaning wasn't perfect, although we arrived too early, they prepared a room for us in the time they had. And also the light was gone in all the area at that time (difficult to see). Acceptable, just improvable. We needed to stay one more night and having the hostel full they did magic to host us.

Macri and Charles are the best. It felt like home away from home. I'd love that booking had the option "∞/10" because "10/10" is not enough. I'd definitely stay here again if i go back to Puerto Galera.

Really nice people, you'll get a very nice insight about the local attitude here. I could come to the owner with all my needs and she made it easily possible for a fair price (like renting a scooter eg) would come back any time.

The bathroom needs some attention

My stay was very comfortable. The owner and the staffs are all so hospitable and accommodating. Had a little problem on my way because I was arriving late, but Ate Mac was so sweet and gave me free dinner to lessen my stress. And breakfast is always BIG. Keeps me full until afternoon.

the cost benefit was exceptional, large and airy room, comfortable bed, super quiet environment at night, the room had an incredible view of the mountains, and they were extremely attentive and helpful with me! To access Praia Branco there are several taxis very close by, and they charge an average of 1 dollar to take you to Praia Branca in 3 or 4 minutes, or if you want to walk by yourself it will take 20 minutes

Arrival sick Macrina took care of my well being. she got up at 5 a.m. to prepare my takeaway breakfast for me on the last day! and gave me a sweater from her daughter Belle so that I don't get sick during transport... the house is clean and you can share meals with the family. beautiful quiet beach 3min walk. city ​​center 5 min by tricycle or scooter.

Tita Macrina and Sir Rommel are good hosts. They made me feel home or I'll go home haha. They also made amazing food.

Ms. Macrena is always sunny, ready to welcome guests at anytime. You will feel welcome. Pets like Totoro, other furbabies are so friendly and you will miss them. Sir Rommel and his kid gave me a wonderful tour and very supporting. I could not ask for more.

Wonderful stay. As a solo traveler you need friendly hotel staff. The owner and staff are exceptional. Made me feel like part of the family. I was out very late watching world cup, woke up at noon. They made my breakfast just for me, eat outside with mountain view's ; spectacular. Quiet. Aircon.

No safe box in the room. Not a serious complaint. I just believe every hotel room in the world should have this. If the credit card or passport is stolen by intruder, the relaxing holiday is over.

beautiful building in a quiet neighbourhood, 4 minute walk to what feels like a private white sand beach. 15 minute walk to white beach if you want to check out the bars. Plenty of things to do nearby including an amazing waterfall and a few really great restaurants/ cafes. The staff were incredible, Makrina and Justine always went above and beyond for us. if you’re heading to Mindoro this is the place to be!!

I like how accommodating the owner is. How nice the people around are and how good and delicious Macrina's food can be. She is so generous and helpful. I always recommend her place to anyone I know who's traveling to PG, because I wanted them to experience the amazing Island life I have experienced.

I loved everything. Maam Macrina arranged for the tours, the transpo, everything. As a first time solo traveller, and a first timer in PG, this was the best choice for me because I know I wouldn't have had been able to do all of those if I booked a beachfront hotel and asked these from their lobby. I met the best possible staff I could ask for and I also met very nice guests that I ended up becoming friends with and touring together with. It felt like I was visiting family even though it was my first time meeting everyone. There is also a very cold and fresh stream right at their backyard. Aninuan beach, which is whiter and clearer than any other beach in PG, which has almost 0 ppl in it, is just 10 mins away. If you want a nice relaxing dip, or to get a tan, come here. White beach is a 5 min drive away, come here if you want night life, rides, and to meet other people. If you have any other request, Ma'am Macrina or Sir Victor or Maam Monique are always around to help you out. I knew nothing when I booked and decided to come here but they helped me with everything. P.S the breakfasts are delicious, free, and you can ask Maam Macrina or Sir Victor any diet restrictions you have and they will accomodate you. There's also free and unlimited coffee or hot chocolate. Free shampoo and conditioner and towels that they would let you borrow and bring to the beach. P.P.S they have tons of cute cats and dogs you can play with. They are so SO SO friendly and lovely
