Won’t regret coming back here to stay again.

The hotel lobby, lift lobby, and room are clean, looks renovated. Definitely not as negative as those older reviews said. Toilet and shower are clean too. Room is at a good size. Good value for money.

The location was great. While the room was small, it was good for an overnight stay and was nice and clean.

If you can, stay elsewhere. You can do better.

The rooms were ok, they could have been worse. One of the staff members was kind to us.

The location was super far from everything. Trying to walk there from the station with my suitcases was a nightmare. One of the staff members was exceptionally rude to us. They wouldnt let us leave the hotel with the room key, they practically physically forced us to hand it over any time we went outside, I couldn't find anything about this in their policy, so I'm not sure if they were just targeting us because we were foreign? The rooms weren't great, everything felt super old.

Good

Standard clean budget business hotel so nothing special, but perfectly adequate for the purpose, which was a one night stay before starting the Shimanami Kaido cycling route.

The breakfast menu could do with some more western style options.

Very good

Awesome view..to the sea (more than expected), overlooking a cute Jinja on the shore. Even though right next to a main Street, very little noise gets through. Convenience store 5 min by walk. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great value for price. The staff were very nice...and methodical but polite about checking the temperature and asking about health (Corona prevention)

Minor inconvenience, but expected...the bathroom and bath tub was small...reminded me of a doll house. Lol. If one hooks the shower up, the water easily gets out of the tub.

Great location and facilities

Friendly staff, comfy bed, great location for completing the Shimanami Kaido, and for a friendly and delicious local okonomiyaki joint. The free local phone calls (and some international calls) was a saviour when on hold to British Airways in Tokyo for one hour during the COVID-19 pandemic.
