Amazing view in perfect location

Amazing view ,very good location , close to all shops, food market open from early morning, 5 minutes walk to beautiful beach ..good value for money , super friendly staff.

Nothing really ...maby it's not the highest standard but definitely would go back because of the view and location.

Definitely suggest this hotel.

Thanks to this hotel our stay in Phuket was very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is located 5 minutes from Kata Beach which was very convenient to reach the beach. Moreover, the hotel is located a little bit far from the main road, so street noise never bothered us during our stay. The view from the city view room was breathtaking, we could even see the beach from the balcony. In addition, the hotel’s receptionist Chanok was very kind and friendly. She helped us a lot with any issue we had there. We wanted to change our room because we preferred the city view, and she quickly and kindly helped us to deal with this issue. Thanks to her our stay in this hotel was very comfortable and warm;) Suggest this hotel for those who like to be near the beach and far from the noisy street with comfortable rooms and kind staff.

Staff really nice and helpful we upgraded to the sea view room and it was really nice. Clean and comfortable. Wifi working perfectly. Great value for what you pay.

They could take a little bit more care of the pool area.

Superb location, great value for money, would return.

Great location, only 5 minutes to the beach and very close to the town centre. We could also see Big Buddha from the room and it was very close to get to it by the tuk tuk. The manager went above and beyond to give us room we originally booked (twin) after we were put in double at the check-in. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel offered 10% off at a local restaurant on our first night. The beds were very comfortable.

The receptionist seemed bored and uninterested on our arrival. It was only after we complained about our room (we booked twin and were given double) and asked to speak to the manager that she changed her attitude. After that, she was very nice, friendly and helpful. On the last two days of our stay the aircon leaked on the terrace so we could only use half of it as the floor was wet and slippery but it wasn't that bad to put us off returning. The swimming pool wasn't looked after and was closed until 9am, would have welcomed to have a dip in clean pool early in the morning.

Very good

This was an excellent choice for a budget hotel. The staff were very helpful in facilitating an earlier than standard check in and luggage storage. The view from the deluxe double room with both sea and pool views was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service.

Bit of a steep hill to reach the property on foot.

Not the worst & not the best.

Room was very spacious and had a balcony.

The view from the balcony was not outstanding, although we paid extra for the room with the sea view. We could not enjoy the balcony as much as we dreamed of since some uninvited bugs wanted to spend the night at our balcony. To be fair, it is not very surprising or the fault of hotel management since it is an island and you should expect such friends if you keep your window open or have a balcony like us. Facilities were also old or not very well maintained, but everything worked as it was supposed to.

Good for a 2* hotel and nice staff

Aircon worked well, and good minibar in the room. The staff are all friendly and helpful when our tour transfers were running late to find out where they were. Great views from one side of the building. Is very close to the main kata beach but being up the hill it means at night you can't hear all the noise from the bars etc. Second room we stayed in for last night was nicer with a lovely view. Showers always had hot water if we wanted it. Definitely worth staying if you are looking for something on the cheaper side in Kata/Phuket.

It is advertised as having a mountain view from the standard double room that we booked but unfortunately it was just a view of a street, I did tell the staff but they said if its not in the photos then its not included so they need to remove mountain view from certain rooms facilities as this was main reason we booked it. When we checked in they said we were getting upgraded the last night anyway, not sure if this is because they realise we should of had a mountain view the whole time. Rooms are all very dated as well, a bit more nice art and new curtains could make it look 10 times better, but for a 2* it is good.

when we checkout, staff told us we consume one drink from mini bar. actually, we did not consume any drink. but we don't have choice, we pay it. not expensive.

Very good

location was great for the beach, shops and restaurants which were all just a short walk away. shower was good! we stayed in a few hotels during our stay in Thailand some were 4 star and the shower at Kata Hill was better than the higher rated ones we stayed in.

The bed was uncomfortable and very hard, however we mentioned this to the staff and they placed a soft topper on which made a massive difference.

Amazing experience from all the staff. Preaw at the front desk was very helpful with any and all requests and always with a smile. 😊 Excellent value for the money and the sea & mountain view from the rooftop patio was spectacular! Excellent view

Good view, clean room, everything worked well.

The room was not sound proof, the walls are very thin. When your neighbours upstairs or beside walk around you can hear it very well. And during nighttimes drive taxi around with heavy sound. You may a few times wake up during night.

Best hosts ever! Jean and Nicki are just great. They’ll do whatever they can to make you feel like home and you’ll help

Location is just great. Kata beach is just 5 minutes walking. Easy to go to the other beaches around. Deluxe double room with sea view and hills view is just what you need to relax and enjoy when you spend time in your room. Super good food served in the hotel and in the restaurant they have just 3 minutes walking from the hotel.

Strong recommendation

My third stay at Kata hill sea view, for good reason. This is a nice and relaxed place, rooms are super clean, with spacious Balkonies, small pool, breakfast, laundry service, motorbike rental, taxi service. Very centrally located, up a small hill, overlooking Kata and the beach. Nicky and Jean are perfect hosts, and their team make your stay comfortable, thank you, Sue, for the nice breakfasts. I will be back when in Kata again

Watch the hill (very hard to go up), seaview rooms are side view.

The staff weren't friendly at all! the hotel is on a hill , that requires a lot of effort to go up . the room we booked should be a seaview , what we got was a side seaview , if you are inside the room you can only see the city , if you are the balcony you have to look at you side to see the sea.
