This property is perfect for social distancing measures! Very spacious and high quality 2 double bedroom/2 bathroom completely independent apartment, recently refurbished master bedroom, located on the entire bottom floor of a large villa with a stunning 1800 square meter garden (ideal playing space for children). The owners live in a separate part of Villa Juana and respect the tenants privacy during their stay (as is confirmed by our reviews). This property is unique as you have the luxury of renting a villa type property at apartment prices! The property also includes a garage, a swimming pool and a brand new barbacue. The apartment, garden, lower balcony, pool and garage (for one car) are not utilised by any other tenants during your stay. The pool is also not utilised by the owners when tenants are at the property. Fantastic sea and mountain views. One of the most rural areas of the Costa del Sol. The villa is located in an exclusive urbanization with excellent/easy access from the main coast road and is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The property is fully enclosed and safe for children. Very quiet and peaceful area but still only a 10minute drive or easy bus ride to urban centers such as benalmadena costa or fuengirola. The property is located right next to the coast road/beach and is approximately 200m up a steep hill from the n-340. Is renting a car necessary?: Although a car is recommended for site seeing, it is not required. All the essentials are within a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the villa. Train station: 15 minutes (Malaga to Fuengirola); Bus stop: 5 minutes (Malaga to Marbella); Beach: 15 minutes; Supermarket (open 7 days a week): 10 minutes; Restaurants/bars: 10 minutes; Tennis courts: 15 minutes; More information on the local area: The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and less urbanized areas of the Costa del Sol. The main street outside the house is a windy and scenic 2km route up to the idyllic Benalmadena Pueblo (local village). If you enjoy walking/hiking, it is a very enjoyable 25-30min walk up to the village. Once in the village, you have panoramic views of the whole area and there are plenty of options for eating, drinking and you can find all the services of a normal town (ie. supermarket, banks, post office). If you walk in the other direction (south), you will find yourself on the beach within 5 minutes. Once on the coast road, you can enjoy a walk either west or east in which you have beach after beach to choose from . What to do?: When staying at Villa Juana, you can spend your whole time relaxing around your private terrace/balcony/pool and garden. For the more adventurous, there is plenty to see both culturally and nature wise in and around the province of Malaga. If you rent a car, within a one hour drive you can enjoy scenic drives that lead you to beautiful Andalusian mountain village such as Mijas and Ronda. For those who thoroughly enjoy unspoiled/protected beaches, within a 45 minute drive East of Villa Juana are the wonderful beaches of Nerja. For those who are into sporting activities, it is very easy to go hiking around the area as it is surrounding by local mountain and hiking paths. Culturally, an easy/cheap train ride to Malaga centre has a lot to offer: from Moorish ruins, a Roman amphitheatre, a wonderful cathedral, the museum of Picasso. Location is closely located to beach with 10-15 minute walk down the hill however larger beaches with bars / restaurants were bit further away. If you have a car driving up the hill to Benalmádena Pueblo will provide a good selection of restaurants with scenic surroundings.
Bedrooms, lounge & bathrooms are good size however kitchen is quite small but has hob, fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine.
Parking is available off road for one vehicle.
Hosts were very friendly providing full uninterrupted access to pool & grounds.
Property would benefit from a decorative refresh.

Lovely property. You stay downstairs in the villa (about 10 stairs down) Large and roomy. Would reommend a fan for the dining area. Beautiful views from the pool. Beds comfortable. Short distance to beach but you need a car. Would definitely return. Hosts most accommodating

The villa was lovely and spacious, if a little dated inside, and the pool area and views were amazing. Sonia was lovely and let us check in early as we had an early flight, she even took us to the Mercadona for our first shop.
The villa had everything we needed (apart from extra pillows for beds) but could have benefitted from a little folder including instructions for using air con etc and rules of the house - we had been up from 2am so was hard to take in verbal instructions.
Villa is situation up a VERY steep hill from the coast which limited our movement while we were there as I couldn't manage the walk up and we relied a lot on taxis after a night out.
Also, as the listing states there is a bus stop down the hill (5/10mins) but this goes to Fuengerola. If you want to go to Benalmadena or Torremolinos as we did it's a 20/25mins walk to the bus stop, part of it up hill.
There is a supermarket 10/15mins walk away but is quite expensive. The Mercadona is a 25/30min walk away.
We were told to have a shower before going in the pool but this stopped working 3 days into the holiday. Also, the water temperature esp in the showers was very tempremetal. The villa does have WiFi but we found this very hit and miss esp in the bedrooms. The male owner was also outside a lot which made us feel a little uncomfortable.
The villa is gorgeous and the location is beautiful and we made use of the pool a lot but a car would definitely be advised as the hill is VERY steep esp with bags

The villa has everything you need, supermarkets such as Mercadona, are just 5 minutes drive from the house. The garden and pool are simply amazing and Sonia and Taysir gives you total privacy to enjoy them but knowing they are always available in case you need something.
It takes you 5 minutes to drive to Fuengirola beach,a nice beach with all the facilities, restaurants, chiringuitos and shops. You can also drive to Benalmádena beach in just 12 minutes. Also, you can enjoy summer nights at one of the night clubs in just 10 minutes walking.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed it was also lovely and cool as we remembered to lower the shutters during the day. Sonia and Tasir were lovely people and so helpful. You wouldn't know they were there (we would actually have like to spend a little time with them) they are so helpful, Tasir even offered to take us to the supermarket but we had already gotten a taxi the day before. The pool and garden area is beautiful. The villa is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the views are lovely. We were on a very delayed honeymoon and it was without a doubt the best holiday we've had. A big thank you again to Tareq, Sonia and Tasir for letting us stay at their beautiful villa. We will be saving to get back someday. It's 5 stars from us.

We had a great week staying at this lovely villa. Very peaceful location. The place had everything we needed. The pool was used often especially by my 5 year old daughter. Beach and restaurants a short walk down the hill and then a quick taxi ride to get back up to the Villa cost about €5 from the small supermarket. We took the M-120 bus into Fuengirola and back a couple of times, bus stop at the bottom on the hill. The hosts were absolutely amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve had a fabulous 2 week stay at this peaceful retreat. My husband had just come out of hospital so it was perfect for him to recuperate. Sonia and Taysil are just lovely people, very unobtrusive but very helpful when required! The villa is situated on a hill so it’s a walk to everywhere but we used taxis a lot as that was our preference. Lovely holiday

The villa is located in a very quiet area of Costa del Sol with great sea and Torremuelle views, around 10 minutes away from excellent Lucena II restaurant and local convenience shop, 15 minutes away from Torremuelle train station and 30 minutes away from Mercadona supermarket in Torrequebrada. It is not far away from road linking Benalmádena Costa and Fuengirola, but far and high enough for the traffic noise not to be a problem. Close proximity to the train station is really good as you can take a direct train to Málaga and airport from there and you can avoid renting a car, which is what we did.
We stayed in the lower floor of the villa, which offers plenty of space for a small family. All windows are facing East, making it easy for us to get up early and take full advantage of April daylight. Some of the decor and furniture is recent and some is not, but importantly all of it is clean and well maintained. Taysir and Sonia, the hosts of the villa, live on the upper floor, so there were no problems with check in and check out, and if there were any problems it would be easy to discuss them.
The WiFi available in the villa is fast and reliable. I was working remotely for a week and I never experienced any problems with it throughout a day, including during videoconferences. The only downside is that master bedroom is almost out of range, so we tended to use mobile data in it. Top tip: establish WiFi connection in any other room and you should be able to use it in master bedroom, although it will be quite slow and you may lose connection after a while.
The only problem we experienced throughout the stay was the water temperature when taking showers. Once hot water started flowing we had up to 1 minute before it went cold again, and even then water temperature was not stable. The fact that tap temperature adjustments are not smooth did not help. However, according to Taysir the boiler should be replaced soon, so hopefully this problem will be gone then.
Overall, we are happy with our 18 nights in the villa and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Lovely Relaxing Holiday
Lovely villa, owned by a lovely couple who were very helpful and give you lots of privacy. Bathroom showers were a bit temperamental but we managed to get in and out in record quick time. Villa very quite a steep hill but not a problem to us and the shops/restaurants were nearby. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but nice to get away for the first time in 2 years!

Wonderful stay in Andalusia!
We had a wonderful time at Taysir place and we had really enjoyed our stay! The house is located at about 10 min from shops and a small secluded beach. The only problem was the shower which it seemed that could not keep water warm for more then 2 min, but we didn’t find this a big problem as there were 37*C outside most of the time.

Sonia and Tie are very friendly and welcoming. They have a lovely villa and they both speak very good English. They let the bottom floor for holidays. It is huge. Every room has more than enough space to spread out in. Everything is clean and well presented. The lounge or salon as Sonia calls it has a door which opens onto the balcony while the main entrance door opens onto a veranda with a table and 4 chairs. Both balcony and veranda catch the morning sun and this is where we had our breakfasts every day.
There is a television but we could not find any English channels so used our tablets to keep up with events happening at home. The Broadband speed is the best we have ever come across. Down load 38.59Mb/s and an amazing upload speed of 50.46Mb/s. A family of 4 all streaming video should have no problems. Only one small hitch is that the second bedroom is out of range and has no signal. Otherwise it’s brilliant.
Both bathrooms have a bath with shower head and curtain. We did find the hot water to be a little temperamental meaning you had to be quick and finish before the water went cold. Kitchen is adequate if all you want to do are light snacks i.e. toast and backed potatoes etc. We bought frozen potato bravas baked them in the oven and topped with tomato sauce and cheese which went down well.
Beds were comfortable and clean and there is a mass of space for your clothes. Nice to see that bedroom 1 had duvets which were really warm and cosy.
We had only one disappointment and feel for Sonia and Tie because their beautiful villa has now got a new villa being built next door which has taken away some of the fantastic views out to see. They said they are going to update the website to include this in the photographs. When the buiding work is finished I guess it won’t look so bad but to have a cement mixer churning away at 8 in the morning outside you bedroom window was annoying. Why do builders have to have a radio blasting out all day? As we spent a lot of time out exploring we could get away from it and only return after the builders had gone home.
It was too cold for us to use the pool but it was very clean and in the heat of summer would be very inviting.

This villa is in a gorgeous setting,lovely garden and beautiful sea view, however a car is a necessity. The location is quite remote and is quite a distance from bars restaurants and people,and we spent a fortune on taxis. The owners are very discreet but very friendly and on hand when needed.

Secluded but accessible.
This villa is exactly as the photos show. The decor and furniture is a little dated, but the setting is beautiful, steep hills and bendy roads, worth it for the view. Fabulous pool and lovely top garden. Hosts very quiet and helpful. Would visit again.

Relaxing break
Lovely property with everything we needed. Beautiful garden and pool. Very clean and owners very friendly and helpful. Nice location away from the main town but with places to eat in walking distance. We enjoyed going to the old town and to Mijas. It was wonderful to come back for a dip in the pool and sunbathe in the garden with the beautiful views. A very relaxing break.

Great Rental and Super Hosts
My wife and I spent 3-weeks at this beautifully kept villa apartment. When we arrived, property owners Taysir and Sonia greeted us. The property sits high on the hillside with a wonderful view of the ocean and the mountains. The apartment is well furnished and immaculately kept inside and out. Taysir and Sonia were available to answer any questions we had regarding the region and the property. We had a rental car and were provided a parking space inside this very secure property. Bus and train access is within walking distance, as well as the beach. However, I will warn because of the nature of the region's rugged terrain, someone who has physical limitations, they might have a difficult time walking around anywhere within the entire Benalmadena area. We took a number of day-trips via car and the train during our stay and saw some amazing sights. However, the most memorable thing we experienced during this visit was the warmth and graciousness of our hosts, as well as the amazing people we met. Taysir and Sonia's son, Tareq had just turned 40 and they invited us to the celebration and made us feel like family.

Wonderful stay
A beautifully presented villa, brilliant outside space. Would definitely recommend, well positioned, however would benefit from renting a car, steep walk up into town. Taxi only €6-7 and we walked back. Owners very discreet, yet provided everything needed and more. WiFi and aircon both worked great, villa spotless on arrival, and secure parking for our car.

A great place for a family holiday
We had a great family holiday in this lovely villa. The villa is ideally situated off the coastal road in a quiet and peaceful area. The views are unbelievable from the pool area and the living accommodation is well appointed and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The local village is a 3 minute car journey and has a good selection of restaurants and shops.
The well maintained beach is a 1 minute drive where you can enjoy the crystal clear waters and warm sunshine.
This villa is ideal for a relaxing holiday by the coast. The pool is a good size and the surrounding grounds are well looked after.
We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great view set in beautiful gardens
The outside areas, gardens, pool and view are stunning. You stay in the lower half of the house. The photos do not show how big the sitting room and particularly the main bedroom is. The main sitting room has patio doors onto a small balcony. The area outside the main door has a table & chairs and umbrella and again is bigger than how it looks in photos. It is very clean inside and out. Turn right up the hill and a 2 minute drive takes you to the Colomares Castle which tells the story of Christopher Columbus through the architecture of the castle. Turn right up the hill and a 5 minute drive takes you to Benalmadena old town which has a great authentic atmosphere. In the old town is El Parador, which is a traditional Spanish restaurant with great food and very reasonable. The house is in a great situation but you do need a car. We visited the Benalmadena cable car. Don't miss the Falconery show there. We visited Aqualand, not quite Disney but okay. Very clean, food very expensive and not very good. It is about a 15 minute walk to Torremuelle train station (behind the British School). This line runs from Fuengirola to Malaga town. We moved around and used the train as well as the car. The train also goes directly into Malaga airport. It is easy to use and a great way of seeing other places. We visited Fuengirola, Torreblanca, Benalmadena town (which is different from the old town) and Malaga town from the train. There's a lot to see if you get out and about.

Nice holiday home
A spacious, clean, apartment on the lower level of a house, overlooking a garden and the sea. There is also a small balcony and a small dining terrace outside the entrance to the flat. Beds were very comfortable. We found the kitchen a bit sparely equipped. E.g. we bought a strainer for draining canned food and washing vegetables.
A few steps lead to the upper level, where the pool(area) with sun chairs and stunning sea view, is situated. The villa is situated in a quiet area, separated from the village road by a wall. Although the front yard of the owners flat is situated on this level, we were never disturbed.
On the contrary the owners were very friendly, discrete and helpful at all times. We did not have a car, but the eve we arrived the landlady took us to the nearest supermarket (about 1,6 kilometers) for shopping breakfast and basic stuffs, and drinks. This happened also later during our 17 days stay.
If you do not travel by car, please be aware of the fact, that the villa is situated up a rather steep winding road approx. 250 meters from the main coastal road (N340). The distance to the nearest supermarket ( Mercadona, excellent by the way) is approx. 1,6 kms and to the nearest restaurant and taxi station a little under a kilometer. Taxis are cheap, but you should know the number, if you have to call for one. When we went shopping for food, we normally had a nice walk to Mercadona ( 30 mins.) and took a taxi back home with our purchase.

Spacious and comfortable apartment with stunning garden and pool area
We were looking for somewhere to get away from it all to recharge batteries and we weren't disappointed.
A lovely, spacious apartment beneath the owners villa with plenty of natural light. A large lounge area with corridor off leading to an indoor dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A/C in lounge and bedrooms. 2 triple wardrobes in main bedroom so plenty of hanging space.
The main attraction for us was the garden area and pool and expectations were met 100%. Owners keep both clean and tidy and even though Taysir and Sonia are around at times, they're extremely discreet and do not interfere with your privacy.
We did not hire a car but knew the area having stayed nearby last year. We travelled about by bus and train. To get into Benalmadena costs you have about a 15 min walk to the bus stop but coming back there is a stop at bottom of road to apt (5 min walk uphill). Just have To be mindful last bus around 22.20. To get to Fueringirola you hop in bus at bottom of road. Not sure of return time of bus but we caught train back to Torremuelle and walked back (about 15 mins). Caught train to Arroyo de la Miel (beware - station up steep hill too). Plenty of places to eat and drink in all. There are some small bars and restaurants within 15 min walk from apt too.
Took train from airport to Torremuelle and then got taxi and for 2 of us it was just over €10.
Fantastic holiday and sending Taysir and Sonia our best wishes and thanking them for their hospitality as we even spent an enjoyable evening with them before we had to return to normality. Thanks too to Tareq for the pre holiday communication and sorry we missed you due to our flight dealt and our subsequent laziness next day.

Wonderful week in paradise
We had such a lovely stay in Villa Juana and couldn't have asked for anything more. The apartment was spotless, the pool and outside area were perfect for lounging around, and the hospitality we received was exceptional.
We rented a car so found it very easy to get around, and there is a garage to park your car in within the villa with a remote to operate the door. Even without a car, the beach is only 5-10 mins walk away, so it's very accessible however you choose to get around.
Small, personal touches made such a difference - from the coffee machine (with spare filters) to the anti-mosquito plugins, we didn't want for anything and the hosts are clearly experts in what they do!

The property was well maintained and very clean. Likewise the pool which was fantastic. Tay and Sonia the owners were very helpful and Sonia even took us to the Supermarket when we arrived and also up into the Pueblo as we didn't have a car.
Although living in a separate part of the property you wouldn't know they were there most of the time.
The location is nice and quiet away from the main busy area in Benalmadena. Buses and taxis were available if you wanted to venture further afield which worked well for us but otherwise would recommend hiring a car.
The views from the Villa were fantastic and also the position meant that the property inside stayed relatively cool which was nice.
We had some great meal out, both in restaurants down near the beach at Play Bonita and also up in Benalmadena Pueblo.
We had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful stay at this villa
Just got home from a weeks stay ,Arrived late Saturday evening and Sonia the owner kindly drove my husband to the supermarket for supplys ,Thank you Sonia .The villa was spotlessly clean and the garden and pool were amazing .we did not hire a car and caught the buses into town but next time i would hire a car to get around .I would recommend this villa it was safe ,clean and peaceful and i only wished we had stayed longer,thanks for a lovely stay

Simply stunning location .
Beautiful spacious apartment and extremely clean and comfortable.
We had a car hired and it was so easy to travel to loads of different beaches and towns. Few minutes drive to either Fengurola or centre of Benaldemena with Marbella approx 35 mins drive.
Our hosts were lovely and made us very welcome and we had complete privacy. Would highly recommend this gorgeous place.

Lovely clean villa, with very special hosts.
We had a lovely time at this Villa, and the owner's were absolutly lovey. From the time we arrived they made us feel extremley welcome. The Villa was spotless and the view from the pool was lovely. We have been to Benalmadena lots of times which helped us with getting around. It can be difficult to get around, so a car would be a good idea, although there is a bus station at the bottom of a very steep hill. Taxi's are reasonable so wasn't too much of a problem. I would like to thank you so much for your hospitallity and very much enjoyed sharing a drink around the pool, before we left. We had a lovely time, and hope to see you again soon. From Teena and Ged

Fantastische Aussicht!
Eine einfach nur bezaubernde Ferienwohnung! Der Garten mit dem Schwimmbad ist wundervoll, ein kleines Paradies und sehr gepflegt. Und dann die unschlagbare Aussicht aufs Meer! Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens an der Sonne auf der kleinen privaten Terrasse unseren Kaffee zu geniessen. Die Ferienwohnung ist gross, mit zwei Badezimmern und alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin Sonia hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns mit allen nötigen Infos versorgt. Auch die Schlüsselrückgabe war unkompliziert und herzlich. Strände und Restaurants sind schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Muchas, muchas gracias, Sonia!

Fantastic experience
Stayed in the apartment for 8 days, for a much needed break away from it all.
The Villa is lovely. It is located between Fuengirola and Benalmadena up a slight hill on the way to Benalmadena Pueblo, just off the coast road (N340), so a great location. The villa is actually a very large apartment, and has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with lounge, diner and kitchen, with incredible views from both the patio (used for a fantastic sunrise breakfast) and from the garden and swimming pool.
The owners keep the garden in an immaculate state, it is lovely, and the pool is just the right size in which you can enjoy a great vista from whilst swimming.
I hired a car for the week, so would easily drive to the supermarkets for food (Lidl, Carrefour etc), and also into Marbella for the restaurants. There is a large shopping centre (Mirimar) in Fuengirola which is great for your standard UK clothing stores (though Fuengirola is personally not my thing).
As the tenant I had a covered parking space with remote control so could come and go when i wanted.
The owners are a lovely couple. They keep to themselves in the main house and separate garden, so leave yourself to yourself, and i hardly knew they were there. They invited me for a drink on my last night, and shared a bottle of wine in the beautiful garden overlooking the sea, just lovely.
Cannot recommend the villa enough, would make an offer is the owners would ever sell
