About this condo rental
Located in Athens, this lovely condo for $156 per night is a great choice for your next break. This is a cosy one bedroom apartment with a large balcony and access to a roof top terrace with Acropolis views. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, a spacious living room / kitchen and a kitchen. Two people sleep in the dedicated double bed and one more in the living room (comfy couch and / or day bed). It offers free WiFi, flat screen TV, A/C, and all modern conveniences. It has a washing machine and a clothes drying rack. Apartment CT1 is located on the 4th floor. There is a lift located a few steps up from the entrance. Location info This apartment is located in Psirri, minutes’ walk away from Monastiraki and Plaka. Monastiraki station serves the Athens International airport and the port of Piraeus. Plaka is the heart of Athens historical city centre, where most main monuments are located. Psirri is a place where you still find lovely artisan shops such as candle making and leather workshops. It has great restaurants, cafes and art spaces. You will also find grocery stores, bakeries and the Athens Central Food Market, the famous Varvakios Agora. Walking around Psirri can be deceiving as it has many old buildings and lots of street art. The street art scene has produced many outstanding artists and their work is widely photographed and admired. The artisan shops, the residents who greet each other by their first names and the visitors create a place of unique character. CHECK IN INFO • We are happy to provide flexible check in and checkout times, so just let us know when you would like to arrive and depart and we will do our best to satisfy your requests. Please note that depending on availability check in will be by 3pm and check out is by 11am. • For arrivals between 21:00 and 09:00 we recommend to use our reliable taxi drivers who will pick you up at the airport and check you into the apartment. The cost is 45 Euros up until 23:00 and 60 Euros between 23:00 and 05:00. (mini van for larger groups also available). Alternatively, if you make your own way to the apartment, one of our staff will welcome you at the apartment. There is a late check-in fee of 20 Euros, which you need to pay upon arrival.

The apartment is perfectly located for first-time visitors to Athens. All you would need or would want to see is within walking distance and if you decide to venture further afield the Metro is a 5-minute walk. Costas and Yannis were welcoming, helpful, and kind. The space is clean, efficient, and comfortable. The neighborhood is exciting and active. We hope to return soon.

The neighborhood is made up of small, charming streets. Lots of street art- there was a gorgeous drawing of an owl on the building next to ours.
There is a lovely balcony, air conditioning, the bed is comfortable, and the sitting area clean, bright and roomy.
Costas is a delightful host. I only communicated with Lia, the manager, by email, but she was responsive and helpful, even when I originally made the reservation for the wrong days!
I would definitely stay there again if I'm lucky enough to return to Athens.

Our stay here was wonderful. The apartment is right in the heart of the city and is walking distance from lots of fun restaurants and bars, but somehow it also remains quiet and peaceful so we weren't disturbed at night. The street art around the apartment is super cool, and the apartment itself is filled with very interesting art. Also: a rooftop balcony!

My wife and I have been waiting to see Athens for many years and with covid and economic problems it's taken this long. Our hosts were fantastic arranging transportation from the airport and what can only be described as a concierge style service. The apartment was beautifully furnished with wonderful unique art. Although the neighborhood is jumping in the evenings everybody gets quiet around 11:00 and midnight. No barking dogs no roosters and no sirens. A lovely covered deck where you can find peace and cool breezes at any time of day. This is definitely the kind of apartment that you can call home base and take care of all your needs as well as a great Central location. I highly recommend.

We really liked this property. It was kinda funky, eclectic. Costas showed us around the neighborhood on our arrival which was very much appreciated. There is a bakery just up the street that sells delicious pastries and sandwiches. Many restaurants and bars are only blocks away. At the same time it was quiet at night. The street where located is only a block long. Plenty of cooking utensils, a kettle and french press and there was ground coffee in the frig.

This apartment has all the amenities you could need for a vacation and more. So comfortable. The host gives you an overview of the area and gives recommendations. They will take the time to answer any questions you have. The apartment is a block away from so many great restaurants and parking is just around the corner. The acropolis and plaka areas were an easy walk and it is not far from the metro station either. We could not have been happier!

Loved the location, short 10 min. Walk to old Athens and Flee market area. The Apartment was very sweet, clean and relaxing. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Costas for your hospitality.

This is the perfect place to experience Athens! The neighborhood was lively and very walkable. The street art was amazing. It felt very safe.
We loved the apartment - especially the rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view of the Parthenon. Our host, Costas, met us at the Metro stop and got us set up. The communication was outstanding.
If you’re looking for an authentic visit this is the place. If you’re better with ritzy & posh, this would not be for you.

Great apartment and fantastic location
We loved our stay at this property. We were met at the subway by property management and given a very comprehensive overview of the apartment and the neighbourhood which was fun and vibrant. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and so central to all the sights of Athens. The balcony was nice and the view from the rooftop was amazing. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and also airconditioned. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who needs a home away from home.

Sweet little apartment with everything you need
We stayed 4 nights and all was great. Tiny bedroom with one sided access to the bed and very small bathroom with shower no bath but the spacious living space made up for that. Wonderfully decorated and cozy with a wood pellet burning stove. Was easy to cook meals in the well apppointed kitchenette. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but a lot of Athens is like that nowadays. Great location though - walking distance from cafes and restaurants and the acropolis area. Hosts were wonderful.

Located in the "heart of the town".
Back home after 6 days in Athen we are already missing the pleasure of this marvellous experience. The apartment where we stayed is located near the majority of interesting points (Acropolis, ancient Agorà, Monastiraki, Keramikos, Syntagma square, the vivid general market, ...). You feel you are in the "heart of the town". There are also a lot of restaurants and taverns in the neighbourhood. We had all what we needed; Yannis and Costas provided a perfect organization and were extremely kind. Only the bathroom is a little bit too small, but we could manage. I imagine the terrace can be especially enjoyable in summer.

Creative, convenient, comfortable!
Costas and Iannis made our stay easy and very comfortable! They organized a driver to meet us at the airport - Dimitris -who was totally professional! The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen efficient (although we only prepared coffee). The shower is an adjustment for Americans, but worked. The pellet stove was a treat and the balcony and roof terrace make the place VERY special! The original artwork is fabulous! Our friends stayed in the two bedroom apartment downstairs, which made everything convenient. There is a terrific restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner around the corner and the Psirri, Monostiraki Square, and the Acropolis are very walkable from apartment. Very pleased!

Dommage que la vue sur l'Acropole n'était pas de la terrasse mais du toit de l'immeuble (impossible de profiter de cette vue la terrasse du toit n'étant pas propre)
Le logement était proche de quartiers agréables mais le secteur de l'appartement était dans un quartier tagguer et présence le soir de toxicomanes.

Fabulous Place to Stay!
This was a fabulous place to stay during our 5-day visit to Athens. We were met by Yiannis at Monastiraki Square and were given a tour of the neighbourhood on the 7-minute walk to the apartment. Once at the apartment, Yiannis showed us how to work the appliances, provided maps, made recommendations about what to see, where to eat, etc. This was one of the best orientations to a foreign city we have ever had - thank you Yiannis! There was a wonderful bakery within a block that sold delicious spanakopita - it became our breakfast of choice. There are also many restaurants, bars and shops close by. The building is serviced by an elevator and the immaculate apartment is located on the 4th floor. It is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances and enough equipment to be able to cook good meals. The bathroom is small, but functional, and has plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment also has a large patio, which was perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Athens. It is a short walk to the metro and many attractions - the Ancient Agora is a 10 minute walk away; the Acropolis or Syntagma Square about 25 minutes on foot. By metro, the supermarket (located near the Parliament Buildings) is a short ride away. We would highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again the next time we visit Athens.

A Perfect Apartment, Neighborhood, Base for visiting Athens
First, I loved the management company-- these folks bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable, oriented, and had what we needed. Truly a great crew! Second, the neighborhood has the feel of Greenwich Village in NY in the 60's, or maybe SoHo in the 70's. It's transitional, VERY artistic, and totally alive. Last, the apartment itself. It's the hipster pad you WISH you lived in all the time. Such a great artistic vibe, and VERY well located. Plus, everything you need in an apartment, (washing machine! coffee! elevator!, with a GORGEOUS view from the rooftop terrace). CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH! There are other folks charging much more for far less. You can't go wrong here!
