The couple that own the place were very kind. We had a beautiful room with a view of the koi pond. We were greeted with absolutely delicious cookies and tea. The onsen was simple, but met our needs. All and all it was a really lovely stay.

The staff is exceptional, helpful and considerate! This is a wonderful ryokan for a perfect Japanese experience. The rooms are comfortable and the food delicious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
It was all excellent!

The hotel is located well and very close to the Buddha. The host is very nice and friendly. They help me to put the large luggage in the room. Similar to traditional Japanese inn, a hot tub is equipped in the bath room for your relaxation after shower. The dinner and breakfast from the inn contains various in-season seafood which is very delicious and large size. Recommend to stay there to experience their hospitality if you visit in Takaoka.
Basically feel contented in the inn. But my room is little far away from the restroom and I need to pass a corridor. It feels a bit cold in the evening when leaving the room to pass the corridor to the restroom~~~

My favorite lodging on my trip through Japan. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The Ryokan is very traditional but well kept and modern where it makes sense. The tea in the room was a nice touch. Really enjoyed the bath, especially after long days of going around. Ample dining options nearby but wish i did the meal option as well. Hope to come back soon!!
Wish my stay was more than two nights

The owner went above and beyond to bring my luggage up to my room and also gave a tour of the whole building. It has all the amenities you ever need like towels, shaver, hairdryer, and many more. Location is great as well as it’s near to most sightseeing places. Don’t hesitate to book this accommodation, highly recommended :)

The host gave us excellent recommendations on local restaurants and attractions. Includes a clean and comfortable bath facility with scented bath salts. Staff were friendly and eager to support us. The host spoke English perfectly. We were given a large room facing the koi pond. Very beautiful and peaceful. The location is a great launch-point for day trips to Kanazawa, Toyama, the Noto Peninsula, or Alpine Pass by car.

We stayed here for one night and were extremely happy with the facilities and the hospitality of the couple running the place. The futons were very comfortable and I was skeptical about the shared bathroom, but it was all clean and lovely. After I checked out, the owner called me about something I had accidentally left behind, which was greatly appreciated.
