Valokuvauksellinen ympäristö ja rauhallinen hotelli.

Tulivuori, uima-allas ja vuoristomaisema olivat meidän tärkeimmät syyt valita Patal Kikian. Näiden kohdalla odotukset toteutuivat, vaikka meille sattuikin varsin pilvistä. Henkilökunta oli erittäin palvelualtista kaikissa käänteissä. Suosittelen enemmän aikuisille lomailijoille.

Kokonaisuutena paikka oli hiukan huonommassa kunnossa kuin kuvat antoivat ymmärtää niin ulkoiset rakennukset kuin lakanat ja muut tekstiilit.

Special place

The place is excepcional! It meets any expectation you may have, from staff, until facilities or even the spa area. I travel around a lot and have met a lot of places in south east asia but this is absolutely amazing! And the view from the pool to Mt Agung is something from another world.

Exceptional

We spent one day here just relaxing and staring at the view from the villa and the pool. View with ricefields and the volcano is breahtaking. Also had a floating breakfast at the pool :) Hotel also provided a free walking tout in the rice fields in the morning.

The most incredible views! Wouldn’t hesitate to return

✅ Incredible view of Mt Agung, staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming, always there to help, staff carried our luggage up lots of steps from car park to our room, restaurant accommodating to vegan food requests, 1 complementary trek to rice fields during your stay (our guide Agus was excellent), complementary drinks & snacks in our room due to visiting for our honeymoon, great range of fresh cocktails available at the pool bar, beach towels available, lovely 30 minute back massage for 100K

❎ Not an issue for us but not suitable for those with mobility needs as lots of steps around the hotel, would be good to offer more vegan options (we had Nasi Goreng without egg/crackers every morning as this was the only option available - even the bread had egg in it so we couldn’t have toast for example), rooms need more shelf space, need to be quick in the shower as the tank runs out of water

Superb

A view second to none from the room and the pool. Great food and breakfast. Top service from staff. A free guided walking trip in the area with visits at local farmers was a great experience. Great, large pool with a bar.

A very steep road to the hotel made it uncomfortable to rent a scooter to get around.

Exceeded my expectations

If you are looking for a place to relax in Ubud, then this is the one with a spectacular view of Mount Agung. The property is located on high ground, so you will get a great view and notice how majestic Mount Agung is. Not much to say about this property. It is just picture-perfect.

Amazing stay! Hope to come back one day!

We stayed here for 3 days and we had the best time. The staff really went out their way to make our stay the best they could. The food in the restaurant was great and the free breakfast was more and better than expected. The room was very comfortable and nothing can beat the view from this place. Highly recommend this hotel is you want a couple of days of piece and quiet.

Most of the time it took really long for a decent stream to come out of the shower. Also the door to the open air bathroom didn’t close complete which caused some insects and gecko’s to come into our room.

So amazing.

Such a fantastic stay. The hospitality was amazing, the driver they designated was great and fair priced. Restaurant had great affordable food with lots of option. Clear and breath taking view of volcano. Can’t fault this place - definitely will be back.

Beautiful stay, will go again!

Food was amazing! The view of mt agung from the villa left us breathless, it was definitely the most stunning accommodation we have stayed at. The staff are so friendly helpful as well. One staff member actually even helped me phone the airport staff.

Really great for short stay and amazing views!

I loved the view! and the staff were really nice. the room was nice and clean. The pool was nice and it was really quiet and peaceful.

the location is remote, you need a scooter or a car to get around, there was a restaurant in hotel but it was more expensive than other restaurants and since we didn’t have vehicle we couldn’t go anywhere else (some stores were walking distance but you have to go up and down the hill), the food was not bad though. However long stay is not recommended because we got bored of the food.

Amazing views...I could even sleep outside if not the storm :), however the villa was great as well and sleeping inside was also nice 😉. Really great stay unfortunatelly just for one night but we are happy to be lucky at least with one night. There is nothing to write more, you just need to see it!

Great stay for relaxation!

the view from the pool was spectacular! food was good, we had dinner there for 2 nights.

the road up to the property was a challenge for cars and bikes. it’s a bit far from the city centre.

Magnificent view

The view from the villa above the rice fields and from refreshing infinite pool was just what we needed after few hours of driving to this gorgeous place. Everything clean, staff so welcoming and helpfull. Great romantic dinner in restaurant. Higly recommended. We stayed just one night, but if you could extend it to at least two to enjoy all those walks around.

Whilst I have pointed out some negative stuff I loved my stay and will be back

Amazing location. All 5 rooms have stunning views of Mount Agung. Very peaceful. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast - choice of American, Continental, Indonesian and a healthy option. American breakfast was huge. Food in restaurant was good - plenty of choice.

Road to hotel very steep and potholed. Lots of steps to reception/rooms. Not suitable for anybody with mobility problems. It woukd be helpful if reception was signed.
