We had such a wonderful stay in Napoli, thanks to the warm welcome by Lina and Rino, the parents of Max, who live next door to this apartment - Lina even treated us to a taste of her homemade polpette (meatballs)! The apartment was spacious and clean and had a well equipped kitchen, but who comes to Italy to cook? And the view of Vesuvius from the patio was breathtaking. The Metro and funicular stops were close by and handy for navigating to/from the train station, but it's easy to get around on foot and a good way to burn off the pizza calories.

Wonderful and kind hosts that were so welcoming and helpful with our questions, the area and calling a taxi for us. Great security and safe area. Everything in the apartment worked great and it was very clean. We enjoyed the patio and view every evening and would definetly stay here again.

Fantastic location with an amazing and peaceful patio with spectacular views. I recommend parking on the main roads and walking up the paths to the apartment. Just 15min waking from the main strip and fantastic restaurants. If the host is ever unavailable his wonderful mom is just next door to take care of everything. Will stay again!

The room and view itself were wonderful. The hosts were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The area in this part of town is a little sketchy dark/rundown especially at night, but you have three gates/layers of security in the building (we felt very safe) and luckily the metro is two blocks away to get you to the more populated and busy area so you won’t need to walk around the apartment very much. getting the taxi to this location was a little difficult as was rolling suitcases uphill so be prepared. But the apartment itself was wonderful and the sunrise is breath taking. Sit out there with wine and cheese or coffee from the local shops up the hill - you won’t be disappointed. Takes about 20 minutes to get to the port if you want to spend a day in Pompeii, capri, sorrento, positano etc.

Oasis in Naples
We just loved our stay at at this apartment. The Quartieri Spagnoli is so interesting but sometimes chaotic. Coming back to the well-kept apartment and beautiful deck with the view of the bay and Vesuvius was such a relaxing respite in this fascinating city. It had everything we needed and was just as it appeared in the listing. We would love to stay here for much longer some day.

Great apartment and hosts
The apartment is great overall. Awesome host and views from the patio. (But it is hard to park in the neighborhood.)

The view is worth it
Similar to the other reviews, the trek to the apartment could be considered treacherous by some. My husband and I made the mistake of walking up all the cobblestone alleys with our luggage and it was pretty much a nightmare. Once we got there though, the check-in process was easy and the family was very friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace is beautiful! We spent most of our time out there.
PS we were also visiting during a heat wave and the AC was A+

First the positive. The owners were right there for us and helped us several times. The apartment is just like the pictures show but very small and the furniture needs updating.
Negative. The neighborhood is extremely filthy with dog feces and disgusting smells everywhere. Garbage piled up as though there were no pickups at all. Anyone with the slightest walking or climbing stairs should not book here. It is very hilly and difficult to get around. The streets are very narrow and between the cars and hundreds of motorcycles streaming by constantly I feared for my life just trying to get up the hill. There was a dog somewhere close by that was kept outside and barked day and night.

Cozy place with great view in central location in Naples.
The owner, his wife and son were very nice and helpful. The apartment is close to many restaurants and bars. The Castel Nuovo and the marina are walking distance (10 min walk)
But beware that the apartment is up a hill and the walk might not be easy. It’s not hard ordering a taxi though. There is a deck with great views of Mt. Vesuvius.

Most memorable!
Myself and my travel companions were most warmly received and taken care of during our stay in Naples. I recommend this beautiful home away with its magical terrace without hesitation. I really hope to return here someday.
A big thank you to the Stabile family!!

Incredible Balcony View
We loved our stay in the apartment. Lina and her sons were amazing hosts! We really loved the deck with an incredible view of the harbor. We made the mistake of driving our rental car to the apartment. Everything ended up working out and because we only stayed one night, parking in front of the apartment. I would not recommend driving to the apartment (unless you are used to very tight European hills). All in all, if you're looking for a place with only a short walk down a fairly steep hill to action, this is the place. Don't forget, you need to walk back up the steep hill to get back to the apartment. Thank you Lina for a wonderful stay in your amazing city!

Nice view!
The apartment is cute! We were in Naples for just a few days, so we spent very little time in the apartment. The terrace had a magnificent view and Max was very helpful.
Here are a few tips though:
1. Have your driver take you all the way to the apartment. The driver will want to drop you off “just around the corner” but the hill is quite a climb with luggage.
2. Ask about the hot water button.
3. Eat at Trattoria Vesesuvio

The apartment was clean and centrally located. Wonderful terrace with a great view
We stayed here for their terrace. The terrace is nice and big with an outside eating and lounging area. The view from the terrace was beautiful with a view of Naples and the sea. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly. They helped us with parking and was a great source of what to do in the town. We would recommend this apartment and stay there again if we are in Naples again.

Great views, great amenities, great hosts
Lina and Gennaro were very nice. Their son, Max, met us at the airport and gave us many helpful hints of places to go, things to see, and an introduction to the property and his parents.
Lina and Gennaro don’t speak English, but we had no problems communicating. Lina was so friendly and kind. She even provided a guided tour of the local markets and a cooking lesson! She even brought some delicious food for us to try on a few occasions.
The apartment has fabulous views from the patio. There was every needed convenience. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of extras available (pillows, blankets), a washer, a drying rack (on the patio), and a grill. There was no microwave.
There are plenty of restaurants, markets and the funicular all within easy walking distance. There is an elevator that requires .10€ but Lina and Gennaro provide a few coins to get you started.
Overall, this was the perfect place to stay. We will definitely stay here when we visit again!
Grazie, Lina, Gennaro e Max. abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso nel tuo appartamento. ci manchi e spero di rivederti. Abbracci, Phil e Debbie

Nice little flat.
We spent a weekend in Napoli while living in Rome. This flat suited our needs just fine and everything worked as advertised. No problems with anything. Communication with everyone went smoothly. The location is a 10 minute walk from Piazza del Plebiscito and less than 30 minutes from the Duomo. The Spanish Quarter is very active and busy.

Amazing Value for the money
The view from the patio of Mount Vesuvius is worth the cost of the room. You could eat off the floors the apartment was so clean. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Lina is a remarketable woman. We want to go back.
Love you Lina. Tom and Maryann. 11/06-09/18

Rent this for the terrace!
This was a sweet little apartment in Napoli. Once you get upstairs, the bustle of the streets below fades and you have a fourth story view of the bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius that was absolutely spectacular. Rent this apartment for the magical terrace!
Lina who lives across the street was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She was accommodating and such a beautiful soul. She also recommended we go to Pizzeria Brandi (in walking distance) which was one of my favorite meals on our entire trip.
Naples is a little hectic, but this apartment was a quiet oasis that I'd gladly go back and stay in.

Gorgeous view terrace, friendly hosts, a slice of real napolitani life
Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Took us on tour of local shops and showed us the funiculare stop so we could enjoy that ride up or down. Fun living on 5th floor in elevator building. Terrace with view of Vesuvius and Bay of Naples is stand out feature.

Lovely Naples apartment
We spent one week in Max’s lovely 4th floor apartment. The extraordinary view of the Naples bay from the large patio was a highlight. Coming back from a long day of sightseeing, this was where we relaxed and watched the cruise ships come and go. Max was a wonderful host. He walked me to the nearest grocery store and pointed out the funicular stop. And then he returned to the apartment and made lunch for us! He is an exceptional host. The location of the apartment is near to the funicular stop which allowed us to go anywhere we wanted without climbing the steep hills. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Max even arranged for our transportation to the Naples airport at the end of our stay. If we return to Naples, this is where we will stay. Thank you Max!

Central, comfortable atmospheric
In an older part of Central Naples, the appartment is well appointed comfortable and has what can only be described as a show stopping terrace with a view to die for. Our hosts we're charming and helpful , a really wonderful stay

A very enjoyable stay in a lovely apartment in beautiful Naples.
This is a clean, comfortable apartment, with a spacious balcony that has a fabulous view of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. It has air conditioning in both bedroom and living area, and is tastefully furnished. Lina and Gennaro were perfect hosts, and Lina couldn't have been more helpful. For example, she showed us where the supermarket, local bar and pizzeria were on our first night, and actually ordered our pizza for us:
making sure we were ok before leaving. She also provided us with information on museums etc., and the best way to get there. We both loved Naples, and would definitely stay in Lina and Gennaro's apartment if we came again. Thank you both for having us.

Beautiful view of Napoli
Max's Mama greeted us, and even she didn't speak English, and our Italian was worse, we made a love connection with her-especially my husband! The flat has everything you need, and Mama's bedroom suite made us wonder how they even got it into this 4th floor apartment. We took advantage of the best part of the flat-the veranda. We were serenaded by someone practicing their trumpet as we viewed Mt. Vesuvius off in the distance. Bella!

Ms Latte & Mr Stabile are wonderful and so helpful
Upon arrival we were greeted by Ms Latte and Mr Stabile who showed us around the spacious apartment. The large terrace has a fantastic view of the Bay of Naples, this is where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning and late night dinner in the evening watching the cruise ships come and go. Ms Latte took us to the market down the street and treated us to a shot of coffee at the corner coffee shop. She was there to arrange a early morning transfer ro the airport for us. We can not say enough about their hospitality. The apt has a washer which was great. Wonderful stay in the Spanish Quarter,

Lovely apartment with a view
Couldn’t have asked for nicer place to stay. Excellent location and great view from terrace. Lena was a wonderful hostess; very friendly and helpful.

We stayed three nights at Max's apartment, which has an excellent, excellent wifi connection and is located across the hall from that of his parents Gino and Lina. We spoke French with Lina, whose terrace communicates with her son's, who boasts breathtaking panoramic views of Vesuvius and the bay. The old elevator building is two blocks from the stop of the funicular, which brings one in minutes to San Carlo and the waterfront. There is also a nearby street for marketing. The shower was maybe a little too small for big guys like ourselves, but we were made to feel like family and enjoyed our stay!

The apartment has everything that is required and the view from the large roof terrace is fantastic. The owners are very nice people and did everything that they could to help us. We had a brilliant time in a brilliant city.

"Very nice apartment, beautiful terrace with view over the bay and Vesuvius, shady and pleasant in the late afternoon even in the heat of summer. Good location, fun walk down to via Toledo or via Chiaia, or 100 m. to funicular (Funiculare Centrale) down to Via Toledo or up to Vomero and subway line 1. Good Carrefour Market very close by, and fine bakery and salumeria too. The hosts, Rino and Lina and their son Massimiliano, are wonderful, warm, and generous people, friendly and ready to help, and enjoyable to talk to."

"The view is amazing, the terrace overlooks Naples and the harbour and faces the Vesuvio. The apartment is very clear and very quiet even though the building is in a very busy neighborhood (which I highly recommend - Quartieri Spagnoli).
Lina and Rino, the owners of the apartment, and their son Massimiliano were extremely helpful and kind during our stay. True people. I am definitely going back in Naples, and in this apartment."
