We found our beach fix!

The perfect warm place to stay with best view in town.

The location provided an excellent view of the bay and crescent beach and great access to it. The property had nice gardens and plants, though along the side of the property could have been manicured a little better. The ambiance was warm and of Spanish decor. Access to the 3rd floor very comfortable palapa terrace was wonderful with the best view in town. The room was simply furnished but colorful. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, and all cooking necessities. Fresh drinking water provided.

No breakfast offered. Parking limited. If the property was fully booked and everyone came in a car, many would have a hard time finding a parking spot. Only 3 spaces available. I couldn't figure out how to use the TV, so I mostly used my computer.

Lovely place for a short break :)

Ideal spot for a short stay. Pictures don't really do it justice. The location really couldn't be better. There's a walkway through the hotel and then you've got an amazing view over the beach, which is just down the steps. Our room also appeared as if it has no windows in the images but it does have a front window into the garden, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't need to use it on this trip but the Wi-Fi was super fast! Would definitely stay again.

Not really a criticism but just something to be aware of: I like booking online due to the convenience, but after making my reservation I was contacted by the property and asked to make payment via bank transfer, which I found difficult as I don't have a Mexican account (and failed to do it at Oxxo). But my partner was able to do so in the end.

Superb

Great renovated apartment with lots of space to put any clothes or foods that you may have. The location can’t be beat! and the patio area is right at the perfect view point.

the bathroom situation for a group isn’t ideal as there is no ceiling that connects the shower and toilet, so it’s lacking a bit of privacy. The kitchen was well stocked but didn’t include a kettle or coffee filters.

Delicious

Great location, just a very short walk to the beach (1 minute or less). Has access to two beaches: One with all the noise/restaurants/people and good waves, and another very calm beach that is like a pool. People at the reception were really nice and attentive. The room is more spacious than I anticipated, the kitchen is good size and has more than what you will need (it even has complementary coffee!!. This is a hidden jewel.

Second visit to our little slice of heaven.

This was our second stay at VC. We absolutely love this charming, perfectly located property. It’s close enough to walk to everything but very quiet and private as well.

very good location, but ask for a room in the main building (ocean front)

very good location, nice terrace, nice building (the one in the front)

well, no fonic isolation whatsoever. We had a two bedroom apartament, situated in the back, near the street. The second night some other tourist were accomodated in the apartament from above. From 5am there was so much noise, talking, laughing and nobody from the administration to sort this up. For a group with two small kids this was really annoying. and the towells, the white ones, not very clean. maybe a replacement would be a good idea.

Quaint small town, superb hospitality

location, right on the ocean, staff, gardens. Room nice size with perfect size kitchen.WiFi excellent. Local Mexican coffee provided and super tasty cinnamon rolls in the morning . Rooms very clean and nicely decorated . it was a perfect stay wish we had more time. They provided hand gel, wipes and N95 masks for these times we live in. Gracias Villa Celeste !

Chacala is a paradise

Villa Celeste has the best view of the bay, right on the beach, it will take 30 seconds to jump in the water, staff is excellent and they have beach chairs and umbrella you can barrow.

A quaint quiet place to stay while being close to the beach and far enough from the bustle of town.

The location is on the Malecon with a very short walk to the steps down to the beach. The room was suitable for a long weekend but would not be comfortable enough for a longer stay. The internet was not good in our room which was the ocean view room so we had to go up close to the office to watch videos at night and do some work.

The internet was the only thing I could say needed improvement. There are repeaters throughout the property but they would not connect. I wish the owner/staff made an attempt to get them working so people who need to work while on vacation could do so.

Pleased with out stay

Villa Celeste is located on the ocean and we were upgraded to a front spacious room next to the terrace that overlooks to ocean for a wonderful view. I spent much of my time there. The kitchen was sufficient for a few days, and the room was good for the price.

The only real problem was that we ran out of drinking water the last evening (not late) and found that help was not available in any manner using the bell, email, or the phone numbers provided.
