The location is perfect for everything! The staff is amazing and very kind.
The only problem was the bathroom because the washbasin was very small and far so we had to bend but water still
comes out and we have to wipe it each time. The shower area did not have a door so water came out also in that case or you have to stand still in a place to avoid that it happens. The bedroom is not soundproof so you can hear people talk in the Riad at night which can interrupt your sleep easily. These are some little problems but they don’tt affect your whole stay that much as the rest is absolutely amazing !!!

Very good location! Walkable distance to most attractions.
The room was clean, spaciousness, you have tee and coffee at your disposal in the room, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff who is ready to help at any times and a nice rooftop. The courtyard is just breathtaking!
Our room faced the street where the main entrance is. Like in most Riads the insulation is a bit lacking and you might hear loud noises especially at early hours.. so for light sleepers consider earplugs.

We were very happy with the hospitality and service provided by Lyla Riad.
Great family appartment impressed us with all oriental furniture and decorations.
It is located in the heard of medina but very quite and still not far from the road where cars can stop.
I'd hardly recommend to order the airport transfer from the Riad, the car was comfortable, driver was very polite, and we were met by the person who took our luggage and guided us to the Riad the first time, which helped a lot.
Breakfasts are huge and reach, with eggs, johurt, pastries.
Nothing to claim.
I'd only be little more happy if we'd have sausages or hum (turkey or any other, if they don't serve pork) for breakfast)... But that was everywhere in Maroco.

A unique, beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely and made the stay both fun and comfortable. The food was incredible and affordable, the pool refreshing, the roof area was a great place to catch the sun while having plenty of shade. We had an amazing experience here and would 100% recommend everyone goes here. The small amount of staff and rooms makes the place like home and it’s near both an amazing cafe (Bazaar cafe) and the market (for the full Moroccan experience). If I ever come back to Marrakech, I will definitely stay here.

- Proximity to Jamaa el Fnaa (15 minutes walk)
- A lot of "green" inside and all around the Riad, it gives a great vibe
- The staff is super nice
- The AC is strong, the room really wasn't hot (not always the case around Marrakech)
- Can be a little complicated to get to, especially late at night (but that's also the case for a lot of Riads in Marrakech)
- Pool is smaller than what it might seem from the picture and wasn't very appealing

Ground floor of the riad was nice and the pool and gardens were lovely.
Good location.
Kettle in room for tea.
Staff were nice.
Bed linen
Our room was ok. Very small. Bathroom was tiny and in desperate need of a revamp. Windows and doors didn’t close properly and tiles in shower dirty. A dead moth stayed in our glass for two days. Curtains were hanging off hook. Base of bed was aged, yellow and dirty. No valance. The garden area on rooftop was lovely but the garden furniture was broken and tattered and the vinyl lounge and pillows were disgusting. Towels stayed on furniture for days. No map given or advice. Asked for recommended price for taxi to bus station. No idea.

We loved our stay at riad Lyla. The location could not have been better in the Medina and provided a quiet place to relax within the busy surroundings. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available for whatever you may need. They set up a beautiful dinner for us with rose petals, wine and a birthday cake for my boyfriend's birthday. I would definitely recommend riad Lyla. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Riad beautifully maintained, decorated and taken care of. Comfortable rooms with many local details. Staff always ready to help with a smile.
Variety in the breakfast as every day was the same (yet it was very broad, tasty and with eggs always as option)

Riad Lyla is such a beautiful place. I love the gardens, the lovely palm tree, the flowers, the terraces, it looks like a fairy tale! Breakfast was good and location is superb for a first time visit to Marrakech
Despite the riad to be lovely there was humidity in the room. The door, because the stile of the house, does not seals completely, so the air filters inside, not good for someone like me with allergies.

The staff were amazing, made us feel really welcome. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had breakfast on the terrace, which had amazing views. The hotel also provided dinner for us on the first night which was really special. The riad was an oasis in the medina, was so beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay can not recommend enough!

The hotel staff were very welcoming extremely helpful during our whole say, they couldn't do enough for you. We really must give special thanks to all the staff. Breakfast was brilliant in the morning and kept us going until a late lunch. The location is great as it is only 5mins from the square and through all the shops.
I can't really fault this place at all.

extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great family atmosphere in the riad. Super nice riad like in 1001 nights. Very central location in the medina, yet very quiet alley. if you want to stay in the medina near the souks, this riad is a must. It is beautiful, very clean with great staff and yet in a quiet lane in the medina.

A beautiful Riad in a very nice part of Marrakesh. we had a family suite which was perfect. Delicious Moroccan breakfast. The people who run Riad Lyla were very friendly and helpful and made our stay in Marrakesh

The staff were exceptional - Mohammed was helpful and charming, Fatima (?) the cook produced the most delicious dinner. Breakfast was perfect - fruit, bread, home made yoghourt and very good coffee. And the decor of the Riad, with a mix of Moroccan and European art and artefacts, was original and elegant. The location, 5 minutes from the souk, could hardly have been better. A lovely place for a week.
The bathroom looked a bit tired - and needed a little updating. Though the shower was excellent.
