Situated in Halton Hills, this lovely house for $279 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lovely apartment on 1st floor of 1870's home. Renovated to highest standards. 2-4 car parking and only a few steps into your own private entrance. Large eat in kitchen, separate dining room and living room with bay window. The apartment is in a quiet older part of town. It is only a block from rail and buses. Enjoy walking to the downtown market on the weekends (June -October) or shopping close by. The Bruce Trail is close by. For road riding or mountain biking, this is the perfect location. Horse back riding, arts, festivals. Are you relocating to this area? Why not stay with us while you look and work with a realtor in the neighbourhood. Visiting family or friends at the Watch Tower? Come and stay with us and invite them over to your new home. Racing at the Milton Velodrome? Stay with us and your welcome to use our bike tools and stand. We are only 45 minutes on back roads to the track. Have a great nights sleep and make smoothie shakes in the morning with our blender.

The property was exceptional, furnished and decorated with a great love for detail and equipped with everything one would need. A folder with detailed instructions for everything in the appartment was readily at hand. Numerous places to sit outside with a variety of seating furniture didn't make it easy to choose a favourite spot. Inside, the most coveted place was certainly the bay window seat with the lovely cushions.
The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood with shops close by and ideal for trips to Toronto, Niagara, etc.

We traveled to Canada to celebrate our Mother’s birthday and reunite with family. The house was close and convenient to everything you could need. The hosts had everything well stocked and what a pleasant surprise to find a fully stocked coffee station. The place was immaculately clean and well provisioned.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iris's Place! The gardens were a highlight with their beauty and interest. We spent evenings enjoying the secluded back patio gardens, artwork, and squirrel friend; and morning coffees lounging in the Muskoka chairs observing the artistic curiosities tucked in various locations, finding something new everyday, including birds using the birdbath!
The layout of the interior allowed our family of four plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying family time. With three bedrooms on one wing of the place, we all had our own beds and rooms. Having 2 bathrooms was also a big plus when getting ready in the morning. The other wing off the kitchen includes the dining room and a comfy living room.The kitchen was well stocked - thank you for providing coffee! The entire place is nicely decorated with interests of the owners including photography from their travels, and feels cozy, comfortable, and welcoming.
It was also so nice to get to meet Allen and Mary Lynn as well. I felt we could have easily chatted with them for the whole evening. They do a wonderful job of providing a beautiful space to vacation with all the amenities I could imagine needing, making for a very plesant stay. The location of the house is easy walking to downtown Georgetown restaurants, the train station, or just enjoying a neighborhood walk.
We highly recommend Iris's Place and look forward to a chance to stay again someday (maybe if one of the local universities gets choosen!?)

a flowery oasis
The suite itself shone with cleanliness. It quickly became apparent that they had given a lot of thought to how to equip the apartment well. The kitchen in particular was remarkably well equipped. Mary Lynn and Allen were exceptional hosts. They lovingly took care of us during our fortnightly quarantine time. Above all, the varied conversations we were able to hold with them supported us a lot. A wonderful place to relax.

Home away from home
The owners were very nice. We were staying to attend a family wedding. We had our dog. They even offered to take our dog outside for a walk on the day we were gone from the property for an extended time.

The photographs of Iris's Place do not adequately reflect how lovely this apartment is. Spacious, super clean and the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly want but extra touches like herbs for cooking, olive oil etc.
We had a last minute booking due to illness meaning we had an extended stay in Canada. Alan and Mary Lynn were so kind to us and we loved sitting out on the porch or in the beautifully maintained secret garden. In a quiet area and within walking distance to Downtown Georgetown which has a good Saturday market. Very highly recommended apartment.

Beautiful home
Iris's place was the perfect home away from home for Christmas. The owners even put up Christmas decorations including a tree. The place was clean and had everything you could need. 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, outdoor area in the front and rear. The location was quiet and away from everything. You will need a car but the GO train station is nearby if you want to go into the city during the week. Would definitely recommend Iris's place.

Cool, Calm, Serene, Lovely and much more!
In my travels around the world, Allen and Mary are the warmest and most welcoming people I have ever met. The accommodation was even more breathtaking in reality than it appeared in the photos here. A real home away from home.
The kids did not want to leave as they immediately fell in love with the environment. The spaces are to say the least, spotlessly clean.
We will certainly return here in the future to enjoy some more ambiance.
My family and I will remember the warm reception.
Of course, we will not have any hesitation recommending this place for friends and family.
Allen and Mary are a very very wonderful pair!

Home away from home
We had a fantastic vacation, the house has everything you could possibly need. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and respond to emails quickly. The house is well laid out, lots of space for dining, cooking and relaxing. There is a beautiful garden in the back that is an oasis. The area is quiet but close to shops and downtown Georgetown. My husband and son spent many enjoyable hours biking on the various trails around the area. Highly recommend and will definitely return for the next family visit.

Beautiful house, very well equipped, very comfortable, complete home from home
Iris's Place is without doubt the best rental you could hope to find. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you could want and need. The furniture is of the highest standard, immaculately clean, very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with all the crockery, glassware, and cooking implements you could think of, including a choice of coffee makers. The cooker, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher are new and work perfectly. The bedrooms are cosy with comfy beds and really nice linens are provided. The heating and hot water work efficiently. We loved staying here and the owner's son was a very considerate young man, available if we needed him for information about the house and area. We highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Georgetown - there is no way you would be able to find a better holiday home.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and well laid out. Very tastefully decorated. The attention to detail in the kitchen, and organization of the cupboards and drawers was second to none. The apartment feels like home from home. Allen and Mary Lynn were very welcoming.

Fabulous place.
Would totally suggest this as a home away from home short term stay for anyone. My small dog Holly and I had so much space and were so comfortable here, we could live in this 5 star rental. Perfect for a family, a small group, and pet friendly set up. Gorgeous grounds, safe and lovely location, tastefully decorated. Best vacation rental I have stayed in. Amenities were first class. My hOsts, Allen and Mary Lynn were more than welcoming and very easy to deal with. Fully recommend to anyone who wants to stay in southern Ontario.

Lovely house in a great location
Spent a week at Iris's Place in Georgetown. The house was spacious and well equipped. Beautiful gardens surround the home that comes complete with a backyard secret garden. It was a great location for a fall week of golfing and exploring Halton Hills

Just where we needed...
First time to Canada for our family of five. After looking at many, and I mean many places to stay, we found Iris's Place. Seeing the pictures is exactly what you get! Very clean, all amenities we needed, the cutest little town within walking distance, and the owners son met us at our arrival and was available at all times with any questions we had. Great hospitality! We highly recommend this "home away" as it felt like to us for our stay.

It was perfect!
This property and the owners are wonderful! The property is immaculately clean, with all the amenities you need and then some. They even have coffee and tea there for your first morning when you are tired from traveling. Plus, they are a wealth of knowledge about the area with things to do and places to see. Allen and Mary Lynn are very helpful and available if you have any questions or concerns. The area is very quiet and safe. We felt completely at home there. The front porch and back garden area are lovely places to sit and relax. Everything was perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place and wonderful experience
We stayed at Allen and Mary Lynn's house for the week and it was like a home away from home. They made us feel very welcome and were extremely accommodating, answering questions and helping us with directions. The house is immaculate and very well appointed. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals and the beds were very comfortable. It is located on a quiet street, so it was very peaceful and we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces in both the front and backyard. Given the opportunity we would definitely come back and stay again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
