About this condo rental
Nestled in Carolina, this charming condo for $195 per night is a great choice for your next break. Up to two adults and two children can stay in this one-bedroom condominium apartment with full air conditioning. Our beachfront apartment is on the sixth floor and features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors in the living area and bedroom with views of Isla Verde's immaculate white sand beach. Sit back and let the soothing ocean breeze calm you. The location of our condo on Isla Verde is ideal—near it's to everything. Uber offers transportation within the metro region. .The building is 30 feet from the beach. Every day, the temperature is 85 degrees. Mountains, rain forests, pristine beaches, and everything else you would need on a tropical island are close by. It takes minutes to walk to the three restaurants and numerous nightclubs on the beach front. The party is frequently held on the sand and is fantastic for salsa dancing and people watching. The restaurants at Fairmont El San Juan and InterContinental hotels are walking distance. The "Water Beach Club” hotel is right around the corner if you want classy entertainment and fine cuisine. Spend the day lounging on the beach or by the pool. This is a beautiful location with excellent amenities, whether you're searching for a weekend trip or a respite from the weather. Food chains, upscale restaurants, casinos, and hotels are all nearby. 24-hour restaurants, 2 24-hour Drugstores: Farmica Caridad /Walgreens, a 24-hour grocery store, and ATMs are all within a block of each other. There are historical sites, traditional architecture, and a wide variety of eateries in Old San Juan, which is only ten minutes away. Condado, which is nearby and includes upscale shopping and luxurious hotels. You can rent a car, take a short cab, or ride the city bus for 75 cents Our condominium has 700 square feet, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeping four people, 1 queen bed, and 1 queen sleep sofa in the living area. Swimming pool and floor-level coin-operated laundry facility are included. A security guard is on duty 24 hours a day. Outside the condo's front door is the beach. On our building's lower level, there are three eateries. Families, couples getting married, and business travelers who want to unwind and have fun will love this property. I needed nothing fancy and that is what I got. Location is close to the beach but the building is run down and shabby looking
- could use some repairs and a paint job on the exterior. The neighborhood is walkable and I felt safe but I am a savvy NYer so at times it felt like being in The Bronx.
The apartment is small but neat but the industrial gate on the apartment door suggests there might be some breakins happening in the building. I had to request a mattress topper for the hard as cardboard bed and gratefully the management company replaced it quickly with no problem at all. Next guests you will thank me 😉 - not sure how anyone slept there. Pullout couch was initially more comfortable than the bed but it wasn't good either so my sister wound up sleeping with me - luckily we didn't have more people with us 🙃.
Overall it was just ok so I would not rent this place again.

Overall great location, everyone was polite and helpful. My girlfriend just got over being sick, the “Racquet Club”/ Isla Verde was just what the Doctor ordered . Can’t wait to come back again !

My husband and I stayed at the property June 10-17. Our original stay was booked until the 15th but our flight was canceled and Dell was able to accommodate us.
I read the reviews prior to staying at the property so I am going to be blunt. If you want a stay where someone greets you every time you walk in the door, or you can call a front desk for something DO NOT STAY HERE.
However, if you looking for an affordable, beachfront condo this is your place. Everything was stocked towels, pots, pans etc. Check in was flawless. Excellent communication from the owner Dell and the property management company. The building is old and is walking distance to just about everything you could need. We had a great time!

Arrived in Puerto Rico and to this condo! Condo is right on the beach with a beautiful view and gorgeous sunset! Dell, the owner went out of his way to accommodate us a day before departure letting us check out late since our flight was delayed! I can’t thank him enough! Wonderful communication with Dell the owner. Everyone we have encounter has been so kind and helpful! If you don’t rent a car it’s not a problem an Uber will take 2 mins to arrive. Perfect location you will love it too! We will be back!!

The listing for this rental is spot on - perfect size for the two of us in a great location. We didn't spend much time in, as we were all over the island, but it certainly served its purpose! We rented a car, and didn't have much trouble parking it on the street at night time (but spots are full all day due to the beach). Only downside was the bed was super hard - however that may be appealing to others!
Overall, great experience. Will consider staying again for a few nights in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Isla Verde 100% The property is in a geat location, everything in walking distance. We took the bus to Viejo San Juan and back. Be sure to eat at Mi Casita the mofongo was fenenominal. We made friends at the 24hr market across the street too. The property had everything we needed including chairs and cooler to take to the beach. I will say the security staff downstairs was not friendly at all but I won't let that change my rating. They basically ignored us as we came and went. They never spoke back when we greeted them. One guy gave us bad directions (on purpose I think) and one lady I asked a question and she pointed to what I needed and never said a word to me. And I asked in SPANISH!!! But.... the neighbors were friendly and our stay and trip was awesome. We'd definitely stay here again.

This unit description was 100% accurate. The unit it’s self is outdated, but worked for our purposes. It was close to the beautiful beach and was very cost effective. We had an issue with the incorrect WiFi information being provided and not corrected until the day before we left. There was construction on 2 different floors that we were in between. This caused a lot of very early morning and late night construction banging and noise. The building was very secure and easy to access. The restaurant around the corner was great. Parking was an issue as described. Overall, we we’re pleased and would likely rent again.

We visited PR for a quick 5 day stay and found this to be the perfect location. The property is a little dated but very clean, and let’s face it, who visits PR to stay inside. The location could not have been better, steps to the beach and all the basic supplies you would need. We both were sad to leave and would definitely return perfect for two people.

Great experience
This was an amazing condo to stay in. There was one security guard that was not friendly, but that shouldn’t be held against the owner, she just made a few things difficult. Condo was the perfect location. Clean; and perfect for the price.
It is near everything you need for a long term stay and I cannot wait to rent here again. The beach club and easy access to super markets made it very comfortable. It’s close to the airport but you don’t hear it, so it’s nice for anyone that doesn’t want to travel to far or needs a layover stay.

It Felt Like Home in Puerto Rico

You cannot get closer to Isla Verde beach. Maybe a 1 minute walk. The property itself is small. My friend and I went together. For the two of us it was good but i would recommend staying elsewhere if more. Both beds (bedroom and pull out)really only fit 1 person. We are both smaller girls. The apartment is older but there were so complaints. It is fully stocked with anything you made need: towels, beach accessories, cooler, soap, kitchen stuff, spices, zip locks, beach/pool toys, etc. The ONLY downside of the apartment is that because it is a tourist area it can get noisey at night regardless of “quiet hours”, specifically outside the apartment on the street.

Dell lacked communication with a lot of different concerns. Priority -lack of entertainment; as anyone staying in any condo/hotel expects TV of some sorts. He was aware of my family traveling there with small children as I contacted him a week before with concerns of loss of electricity on the island. The news stations had broadcasted it every where & he didn’t feel the need to give our family a heads up until I brought forth this concern to his attention.
We stayed there for 5 days without functioning TV & having 3 different staff members in the condo without or knowledge or consent.
He also makes you pay an upfront fee of $60 regardless if you ‘cause damage’ or ‘not’.
The condo was extremely clean & the little details of past customers was cute.
When you travel with family & pay for a luxury vacation you expect certain amenities. TV is bare minimal. I asked for a refund of some sorts and have yet to hear back from Dell.
The front desk man seemed to know me (sarcasm) because he couldn’t help himself from complaining about my family or I any chance he could get. (sand being on sandals, the children laughing on elevators, the chairs being moved from the pool side to the shaded area smh)
Good luck to any family traveling to this particular condo.

Smack Dab in the Middle of Everything Fun!
Located directly on the beach, you will love being able to get up to a view of the it from your bedroom and living room! This is a perfect rental unit for two people. It has a separate bedroom and is well appointed. The beach is amazing and right at your doorstep. You can basically walk most of the way to the Pinones via beach from here! I could go on forever about all of the incredible things we did while visiting but, most important for renters is to know that everything you could need is close by to this location. CVS is a hop, skip & a jump, 2 large grocery stores are within walking distance, and Costco (to stock up if you need to) is only a 10 - 15 minute drive. There are several fantastic bars and restaurants and even a bike rental spot a 10 minute walk away. We didn't rent a car but, "Charlie's" is basically across the street and our friend's rental from there went smoothly. We stayed for the month of January and had no complaints other than an internet issue that the owner ensured was promptly resolved to our satisfaction. The owner is very responsive. Thank you for having us!
