This homestay managed by Mr Zhang CiTian and his wife is very clean and homely. They are very nice and friendly couple. Mr Zhang arranged all transportation from Xiamen to his homestay and to Nanjing train station for our forward journey. This homestay location is great at Taxia village (Jacky Chan did some filming for one of his movie). Our 2 days tour itinerary around all the important tulou in the area was arranged by him. He even personally took us, at a reasonable price, to see the night tulou scenery which was beautiful. Simple breakfast prepared by his wife. This homestay has a washing machine for guests to use.

The location is perfect to start a Tulou tour. Great hosts who are eager to explain about the Tulou. Taxia village is very cute with a few restaurants and coffee shops. highly recommend this place, especially family room with children. Good food as well!

The hotel is really nice, located in Taxia village and well linked to the other Tulou sites. The owner and his wife are just amazing, very kind and always available if needed. Also, the food in the hotel is homemade and with all the typical dishes of the area and province. Overall, I would love to come back there and I give them a 10/10

The owner and his family were super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant at the hotel served amazing food. Couldn’t be a much better location, in one of the Nanjing Tulou Scenic Area villages and offering an insight into the life there. Also let’s you see some of the more lived in and authentic tulous.

Getting there was a bit of a problem. You have to buy a ticket to enter the village (unless you come at night). Probably need to be able to speak some Chinese to reach it unless to you arrange transport in advance.

Ta Xia Chun is a peaceful village. Beautiful place and scenery. The hotel owner and his wife are really nice person. The wife is a really good cook. Great food and affordable price. The rooms are great and clean, exceeding our expectation. A very good place to stay when you want to escape from the city life.
