A little disappointed

It was a very sweet home, with beautiful gardens. Good location as it is just a couple minutes drive to Leura mall. The beds were nice with electric blankets and linen was all fresh.

Unfortunately there were a couple challenges particularly on our first night. It was extremely cold and windy outside and despite our best efforts we couldn't get our rooms warm with the heaters. The draft coming in under the doors was so cold. Luckily this was remedied by the property manager so the second night was nice and toasty. The other challenge was that we arrived to a house full of flies. We killed at least 30 flies on the first night and in the morning we realized that there were maggots in the bathtub. The property manager responded quite quickly and a cleaner came the next day to address it, but we still kept finding maggots in the bathroom. It was quite distressing and I do feel that it wouldnt have happened if the house had been checked just before we arrived. They would have clearly seen the issue, but unfortunately the property was last cleaned about 4 days before we came so in that time this all must have happened. As the maggots kept appearing it felt like the issue was still unresolved while we were there and I worry that the next person might end up facing the same thing. I feel bad saying this as I could tell they tried hard to make it good for us, but I feel like the property needs a little closer attention. I honestly thought we might receive some kind of compensation as it made the short stay a little stressful and uncomfortable, but haven't yet heard back from the property manager about this.

Perfect place for family to stay in Blue Mountains area

- Fully functional kitchen - Comfortable beds with electric blankets - Bathroom with heater - Very well furnished with all you need for a family getaway

Great Family Getaway

Cosy place, excellent heating options for all rooms. Beds were comfy. Lots of board games and toys to keep the kids entertained indoors. Bathroom had a bathtub with was great for our 3 and 5 year old. Adequate kitchen utensils and crockery.

The frying pans and chopping knives were a bit average. If planning on cooking during your stay I would pack my own.

Lovely spacious cottage in a great location close to Leura and Katoomba

Great location, lovely garden and well equipped clean and tidy house with lots of space.

Communication was a little over complicated with a lot of messages but was happy with the place and rules. The couches are a bit old and large so we didn't find them comfortable.

Accommodation was neat and clean, linen and bedding very comfortable, home heating was excellent. Great location.

Yes. We do have some feedback. For the number of people that can be accommodated at Raspberry Terrace the refrigerator is far too small. I brought a large casserole with us, there was barely enough space to accommodate our remaining refrigerated and frozen items. We have no complaints about glassware and crockery. But some kitchen items were lacking. No potato masher, no bowls for say a stir fry or even a stir fry pan. The toilet near laundry could do with a shelf above wash basin. Hand wash sitting on floor was not a good look. One observation we made is regarding path lighting. If guests arrive after dark there does not appear to be any way of switching on path lighting from garage to house. Guests could easily fall upstepes or find it difficult to locate front door.

lovely setting, nicely presented house in quiet location, conveniently located if driving.

Lovely traditional garden, quiet setting, well supplied kitchen, lovely linen, quite comfortable beds, nicely refurbished older house with period furniture and original kitchen. High standard of cleanliness throughout. Management contactable and responsive via text only. Addressed concern quickly via text. Lots of books and games, laundry and clothes line.

Front gate into driveway was very tricky to open and close - needed quite a bit of strength. Damp and mouldy smell on arrival but acknowledge that was a widespread problem after the flooding rains and not a reflection on cleanliness of the property. Appreciated that the property manager replied quickly via text advising to use de-humidifiers provided in both bed rooms and and an air-conditioner in the lounge, also used extractor fan.

it was good to leave the car at the house and walk to Leura High Street.Which was approximately 20 mins with a few inclines and steps.

Remember the insect repellent the mosquitos were also glad to see me. The oven has to be coaxed and takes longer .

Springtime getaway

Location was close to Leura in a quiet neighbourhood. The photos are a true representation of the cottage. Beautiful and spacious old 2 bedroom cottage with gorgeous gardens. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of board games and DVDs but also wifi to access your Netflix, etc. Reverse cycle air con in lounge and also portable heaters and fans. Off street parking. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. We stayed 5 nights and wanted to extend but unfortunately the cottage was booked.

Cleaners sloppy. Many dead flies on windowsills. Live flies in house and no bug spray. Dining table linen dirty, obviously not changed from previous guests.
