My husband and I spent a long weekend at this beautiful cottage in Paradise! The cottage is located close enough to the area attractions, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity of the Amish area. We enjoyed chatting with the host and taking walks through the local neighborhood. Seeing the horse and buggies go by each day was such a treat. We will defiantly come back and stay here again!

We were there for a long weekend to go to the Sight and Sound Theater. We were looking for a place nearby to stay. It was a great location in a quiet neighborhood near the theater, shopping and restaurants. When we arrived we had a dozen fresh eggs and a loaf of fresh bread. We also enjoyed fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. It was such a delightful weekend. We are definitely going back. The best kept secret in Paradise! Now the secret is out!

We enjoyed our stay with our daughter and granddaughter for their first visit to this area. The house was great and our host and hostess were outstanding! They shared homemade bread and jelly and fresh eggs with us. They stayed in touch with us from our reservation, about our arrival and our departure to meet our needs. We have built a special relationship with them and will most definitely visit them again! Thank you to the Beiler's!

We were in town for an Amish Farm Auction and were looking for a less commercial lodging experience. Sarah and family were very tolerant of our desire to meet her horses and dogs, and see her garden. She left us homemade bread and jam which was the best dinner we had all trip! Beds were comfy and great location. Good value for the area as well. Highly recommend.

Sarah was generous with both food (fresh eggs, bread, and vegetables) and her time (she gave us a tour of her farm while answering our questions about life in an Amish family).
Living (mostly...) unplugged for a while seemed to slow down our time perception, a good thing!

Sara's hospitality made our stay perfect. She was kind, generous, thoughtful & informative. She gave us a tour & shared her fresh fruits, veggies, eggs, & warm bread. She also provides some of her homemade jelly & handmade children's aprons, etc. for sale. The property was clean & comfortable & we enjoyed morning coffee outside on the glider bench/table.
Be careful exiting the driveway, the road isn't too wide & it seems that trucks tend to fly down the road.

Lovely getaway
My friends and I stayed here for a girls getaway. It was the perfect location to explore the area and to be near a kind Amish family (who brought us fresh eggs and bread and offered to show us around their farm). The cottage was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Highly recommended! I want to return with my two young kids and husband as I think they’ll really enjoy it as well.

The Amish experience with complete privacy
Let us start with Sarah and John are amazing hosts! The property is super clean! Separate cottage with private entry boasts WIFI, two large bedrooms with two doubles and a queen size. Full bathroom with shower, tub, storage and fresh from the line towels! Kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could need, including fridge, microwave, stove/oven, toaster, coffee maker. Hosts provide FRESH bread and FRESH farm eggs upon arrival and request. Location is amazing, 10-30 minutes to all local attractions and shopping. We've already shared the link with family and friends and will definitely stay again.

We had such a lovely time at your home. My 8yr old loved playing with your children. They were so sweet and polite. The guest house was very clean and was spacious enough for us. We enjoyed the breakfast that was served every morning. We will definitely be back.

Very basic
It was a cute and quaint place and host family was kind . However, the living room was very hot. A/C not working. Bedroom A/C was cold. It had leaky faucet in bathroom. We could not light stove. Would not stay there again, but did enjoy the ambiance.

Lovely, cozy apartment with delightful hosts
This apartment was PERFECT for my son and me. We were staying 5 nights and I wanted to be able to cook meals so we didn't have to eat out all week. Sarah and John were wonderful hosts. Aside from prompt responses to any question or need I had, Sarah also gave us a little tour of their animals and garden. Home cooked breakfast was delivered fresh and hot promptly at the agreed upon time every morning. We enjoyed watching their dogs play across from the kitchen window all week. (Don't worry, they were behind a fence. ;) ) Also my son enjoyed seeing the cow and horses in their fields. We sat on the swing behind the apartment every evening (except the night out rained.) The host house is down the hill, maybe 60 feet door to door. So we had plenty of privacy while they were super close for anything we needed. The only thing I would advise is that while there are beds to sleep 6, it would be rather crowded with that many people and it might be difficult to cook for that many people with the size of the fridge and the cookware provided. The tap water is not potable but a gallon of water was in the fridge for us and Sarah provided refills as needed. A minor inconvenience but easily worked around. Also, there is no TV so if that's a deal breaker then this is not the place for you. There is wifi though, so my son was able to use his tablet and didn't mind going without TV for a week. 100% certain we will stay here again if it's available the next time we're headed towards Strasburg. We really enjoyed our week here. :)

Experience Amish life
I almost felt like I had stepped back in time. The place we stayed at was simple, basic, clean and comfortable. The children who met us and took us in were extremely polite and curious. This is located on a farm of an Amish family so seeing the horses up close, the homemade quilts on the beds, the children, the buggy and the best whoopie pies ever was fun!

Great hosts, great location
We enjoyed our recent stay at the Beiler Guest House this past week. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. Sarah and John Beiler, our hosts, were extremely welcoming and saw that we were taken care of well. After a tiny snaffu with the first night, we settled in for a great get away. I would highly recommend this home away from home for your next Lancaster County get away.
