WE LOVED PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING AND WEE MAY BE BACK SOMETIME.

Very nice place, excellent starting point for exploring the southern Lake Garda. Big rooms, terrace, free bikes, quiet and peaceful. Big and isolated pool area. Grocery shops (Lidl and Eurospin) are within couple kilometers in San Benedetto. Closest cities (Peschiera and Sirmione) are easy to reach (~5 km) as well. Nice farm/winery with free-roaming chickens right across the road from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

While adult bikes were free, this hotel doesn't have any for children... That's not hard or expensive to rent ("Mincio in bike" is in 2-3 km on the road to Peschiera), but adds some complications to logistics

Fantastic breakfast, wonderful pool capsuled in a vineyard and we were able to borrow bikes to go downtown in the evenings. Would definitely stay there again!

In terms of breakfast, coffee and bread was good, but apart from that we had a choice of only one type of salami and one type of cheese. And what we really missed were vegetables - there was none, just a small selection of fruits. I am not saying that breakfast was bad, but it was a bit disappointing compared to the price of the room. But still, the friendly host made a homemade cake everyday for breakfast which was really nice! Apart from that, the room was perfect - beautiful, cosy, very clean, very comfortable bed, new bathroom with spacious shower, big wardrobe - all great! Swimming Pool was actually way better than expected - exclusive for hotel guests only, and bigger than it seems on the photos! Water was always clean! Bicycles free to use for guests - that was also great. And localisation was exactly what we expected - a bit distant from the city but we were looking exactly for that :)

Air condition and fridge in the room could be replaced with a new one, it was a bit old and not very powerful. These two things could be fixed.
