If I will revisit Heraklion, I will definitely stay there.

Just everything that you need for the holiday in Heraklion; for the people/solo travellers who money is an object- the location wonderful 7 minutes from the port, 3 minutes from city centre, surrounding wit cafes and restaurants ti choose and the breakfast good, the staff superb, the room wow; there is nothing I can find to not like it this place.

Close / central to every where you go you do in the city.

Very good familiar hotel with great sea view

Very friendly staff and clean familiar hotel. They were so kind to offer us the upgrate to the room with sea view. To repeat! Nice breakfast and free water, juice and coffee all day long.

Great overnight stay

Location was great for an overnight stay and access to the Port. It was walking distance to the center of town, with lots of shops and dining. Clean room and decent breakfast. Would recommend for a quick stay.

Awesome room and view-wish there could have been more time!!!

We only had one night at the Kronos as we were in route to Lerapetra and had come in on a late flight. We were met by a wonderful man who went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of! Our room had an AMAZING view and truly wish that more time could have been spent there... A+++++

The only drawback was that we were in a rental car, and parking was an effort-though I managed to work the car into a small spot barely a block away.

A wonderful comfortable stay made even more pleasant by the staff. Couldn't ask for more.

Breakfast available for long time in morning. Since water not potable in Heraklion, once you buy one big bottle of water when you finish the little supplied bottles on checking in, the hotel refills your big bottle as needed. All of staff were super friendly and helpful with everything, whether it was hotel questions or needs or sightseeing info, or calling a taxi, or directions to anywhere. And all with a smile. They all far exceeded what I expected as did the location. The hop on and off bus, Fort and harbor is a block away as is the taxi rank. Bus station is 15 minutes max walk away. Seaview balcony room was wonderful. Marveled at the view.

Great value

Great location, basic hotel but good value for money. Breakfast was included and more than enough. Staff were super friendly and always helpful. Has a fridge. Good restaurants across the road.

Friendly staff, clean room. The staff were so friendly, welcoming me and helping me with all my questions

The only thing I can complain about is the wifi the first day, really slow, but it worked the rest of my stay.

the owners are very friendly, the room is clean and well equipped (hair dryer, towels, slippers etc) the WiFi connection was good and the breakfast was more than satisfactory. the location is the best. in front of the sea and 5 min walk from the city center. would totally recommend!!

Great location.

Location is nice with views over the old harbour. Breakfast is plentiful. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and in good shape.

Room rates are a bit high for a 2 star hotel, but I suppose you pay extra for the view. Traffic noises are pretty bad around the hotel.

Superb

. A very nice hotel, perfectly located overlooking the old Venetian harbor of Heraklion. The hotel is simple but very pleasant, Kostas the proprietor was a truly perfect host and went out of his way to assist us with information, the room was clean and had a fantastic view of the ocean and the harbor. Breakfast was very good as well. All in all - a very positive experience.

Not much we did not like; showers need improvement (anchoring of shower head is defective) so as not to spray water in unpredictable directions

Everything was perfect! Very welcoming staff. Very helpful, helped us with bus schedules and adviced really good restaurant and taverna. Very good breakfast-especially greek yogurt with honey! Will stay there again if necessary. Highly advice!

Friendly staff but the hotel needs a facelift

Friendly staff who tried our best to accommodate our needs. The hotel is beautiful facing the sea and with a nice sunset. I am sure if we booked the right room category we would have a different experience. So don't make the mistake we made and get a room facing the sea.

This hotel is a little worn down. We booked the city view room with twin/double bed. Unfortunately the first room they gave us was dark and dreary with city view is facing an inner courtyard of other peoples balcony. And since we didn't leave a comment that we wanted a double bed, we got a twin bed instead. I went down to speak to the reception and they explained why we need to put our preference in the comments and then gave us another room facing the sea for one night. We appreciate all the effort the staff did to make our stay enjoyable. thank you!

Lovely short stay.

From the moment we entered the hotel we was greeted with a smile. We stayed 2 nights which was ideal to look at the sights of Heraklion. The hotel is close to everything, rooms are large and spacious. I would use this hotel again if I was to return to this city.

Can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The hotel was bright, clean and comfortable. Check in was very smooth and the staff were very welcoming as always

Exceptional

The location was perfect, right beside the harbour and old port/Koules fortress. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Although basic, the room was clean and had everything I needed.

I asked to take breakfast to my room as I had an early tour I needed to get to and the man working was upset and said that would be a problem even though there were signs saying you could bring it to have breakfast on the patio. Besides this one incident everything else about my stay was great and staff was friendly.
