Wir verbrachten im August 19 wunderschöne Tage in der Villa. Der große Pool und Garten ist von keiner Seite einsehbar. Es gibt sehr viele Möglichkeiten zu Sitzen und zu genießen. Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Toller Kontakt zum Vermieter und mit Carol vor Ort. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien 10 Tage im Oktober in der Villa verbracht. Nach etwas spärlichem Kontakt im Vorfeld war die Übergabe des Objektes freundlich und hat gut geklappt. Insgesamt ist der Garten sehr schön angelegt und man hat seine Ruhe. Die Villa liegt in einer typisch spanischen Urbanisation. Das Umfeld ist wenig attraktiv. Die Villa ist in allen Bereichen sehr gut ausgestattet, geräumig und wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Was leider nicht erwähnt wurde, ist, dass das komplette Untergeschoss feucht ist und dass die Schäden offensichtlich nicht erst durch das kürzliche Unwetter hervorgerufen wurden. Hier liegen alle Schlafräume! Die Wände waren schimmelig und die Kleiderschränke nicht benutzbar. Wir mussten daher aus dem Koffer leben, der besser im Wohnzimmer stand. Bettdecken für die Betten waren nicht ausreichend vorhanden und die wenigen, die da waren, waren ebenfalls schimmelig. Insofern war es in einigen Nächten eine sehr kalte Angelegenheit. Wir hatten auch gesundheitliche Bedenken. Seitens des Vermieters wurde nicht auf unsere Mails und die Übermittlung entsprechender Bilder reagiert. Wir können das Objekt daher nicht empfehlen!

Belle villa avec superbe piscine

This villa is the best we have ever stayed in, everything about it is just what we wanted. The villa and pool are excellent and the snooker table is an added bonus. Thanks to Jim and Jean who were there to welcome us and even brought us some tea and milk because they knew we were going to be arriving after the shops closed due to flight delays. They came back next morning to give us advice on what there is in the area. All in all a fantastic time was had, thanks Paul and Nyssia for letting us stay in your villa, we hope to be back in the future.

hi paul and nissia we had a fantastic holiday in your villa the pool was lovely warm and very clean we have stayed in many villas but yours is by far the best pool we have ever had great the villa itself was very clean the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed and more as I do like to cook my own meals on holiday as well as eating out we loved the peace and quiet and not being overlooked very private shops and restaurants only a very short drive away which was very good for us my husband loved the games room!! jim and jean who take care of the villa were lovely kind and very helpful arranging airport transfers and car hire for us and keeping your lovely pool clean thank you so much for letting us share your home we loved every minute of our holiday many thanks the only thing a week was not long enough hope very much to return in the future best wishes jennie and danny livingstone

We arrived at midnight and were greeted at the gates by Jim and Jean who look after the villa. They were very welcoming and appeared alternate days to water the shrubs and flowers. While they were on the grounds they spoke with us and encouraged us to phone their mobiles at any time should we have any problems or queries (which we didn't). There was a red book in the villa with local information eg doctors, hospitals, taxis, restaurants, supermarkets etc.The whole villa was clean and very well equipped. Upon our arrival there were two large bottles of drinking water and there was washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, tea towels, dishcloths, cleaning and insect sprays. All 5 toilets had tissue paper. It was a nice touch that we could shop at our leisure to replace anything that we used. There were plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates - some plastic to be used outside.All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. There were insect grids on all the bedroom windows.The swimming pool and surrounding area were kept very clean. There were several terraces around the grounds that we could sit and use. One terrace, at the back of the villa, provided a washing line, pegs and airer so that we didn't have to watch our washing drying while we sat around the pool or outdoor dining area. The BBQ worked very well and there was a sink and drainer next to it which was very handy.Both snooker and pool could be played in the games room, along with darts. Our children enjoyed playing on the football table. Even beach towels were provided. All equipment was of very good quality.A car was really necessary staying at this villa. However, we also hired taxis that were punctual, reasonably priced and all the drivers were polite and helpful. We used them to go to the local beaches, supermarkets and restaurants - all of which we enjoyed. Our son and wife took their young children to the local waterpark (10 mins car ride) twice as they all enjoyed it so much. It was very child friendly, safe and reasonably priced. They brought a four month old baby with them and the villa provided a high quality cot, playpen and stairgate.Our daughter had a beach wedding twenty minutes from the villa. Everything was organised very well and all the guests had a brilliant day. We could highly recommend this holiday villa and local amenities to everyone.

From finding this villa, all through the booking process with Paul the owner, we found it very easy and straight forward with good communications via email and phone calls.On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown around the villa and they went out of their way to help us settle in.The villa was very clean and maintained to a high standard, and we could not fault anything at all.The image from the cover photograph is exactly what you see as you walk through the gates..... STUNNING !We were a group of 2 couples and a teenage couple and we all made good use of all facilities, games room, snooker table, swimming pool, a beautful sun bathing area, the outdoor kitchen, and the seating area over looking the pool was very relaxing with a glass of wine, watching the sunset in the early evening.We visited most of the local areas and would recommend the beaches not only at La Marina but also at La Mata, Guadamar, Santa Polo and the lovely town of Torrevieja.Sampled many local restaurants and bars in La Marina and would definately recommend Burgundy's and Plaza 39.We would recommend this villa to anyone, families or couples, for a very peaceful relaxing holiday.We were very sad to leave and cannot wait to return very soon, thanks again Paul & Nyssia for sharing your villa with usPaul & Ange

Great house with great amenities for family with children. we enjoyed the pool and the different terraces around the house. Great feature is the gameroom with the snooker table. Close to several towns and the beach make this a great place for a holiday.

The ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.About 20 minutes by car from Alicante airport in a peaceful & lush "urbanisation" called La Marina. Although in quiet surroundings, it was close enough for us to make daytrips to major cities like Alicante, Elche, Murcia or even Cartagena. This villa has all the amenities we were looking for. From a complete kitchen, crystal clear swimming pool and covered BBQ area to several patios and a large surrounding garden.The villa was clean and tidy and the keyholder was a friendly English expat who explained everything we had to know for our stay. Nearby, but not too close, were several restaurants. We visited and recommend especially the " Pisa " restaurant for its delicous pizza. The seashore and sandy beaches are a 5 minutes’ drive away. On the beach itself you'll find several small restaurants and an open air beach bar.We highly recommend a visit to one of the open air markets in cities nearby like Guardamar or Torrevieja.We've enjoyed our week over there and recommend this place to anyone who likes a restful vacation with all the comfort you're used to have at home.

We wanted to locate somewhere in Spain where I knew and also had to have a big pool plus be able to accommodate 7 of us. We had a great time in the villa and enjoyed all its amenities. Kids played all day in the pool and we didn't leave it much at all. Easy to find and not far from Aldi Iceland and other local supermarkets - we just wished we had opted for 2 weeks instead of 10 days WIFI was a bonus as everyone wanted to use Facebook etc and just added to our great holiday. Paul the owner was always available by email to answer any questions and it was pretty straightforward to deal with

My wife and I drove down to La Marina and on arrival were met by a well kept and peaceful villa, fronted by a lovely - and clean! - pool. We were there in June and although it was hot weather there was no need for the air con, the villa itself absorbing the heat. The urbanisation was large and consequently well serviced. The croissants on sale at the cafe next door to the supermarket at the top of the urbanisation were some of the best we've had in Spain! The villa itself was clean and well appointed - especially the BBQ area with its excellent gas barbecue. We were outside almost every evening, apart from when we mistakenly stayed indoors to watch England perform so dismally in the World Cup! We've done similar holidays for the past seven years in both Spain and France, and this was as good a villa as we have rented. If the owner invested in some steps directly down from the terrace to the barbecue area it would be almost perfect! We had a great holiday and I would recommend the villa to anyone, but a car is vital!

Si nous aimons passer nos vacances d'été à la Marina( 3 années consécutives et surement bien d'autres) c'est tout simplement parce que nous nous y sentons tellement bien! En effet la villa est à la fois luxueuse et facile à vivre. Nous pouvons profiter d'un jardin magnifiquement agrémenté de plantes méditerranéennes ainsi que sa piscine privée, du billard, du wifi, de la climatisation mais aussi d'un équipement ménager complet. Nous adorons aussi côtoyer la longue plage de sable fin et les sites restés typiquement espagnols. Enfin, nous apprécions l'accueil chaleureux et utile du couple anglais présent sur place.
