Huge apartment. Large rooms with high ceilings. Great locations, really close to the palace.
The place could use some sprucing up, and we had many yellowjackets in the kitchen and bathroom.
All in all it was worth the money.

This has to be one of the best located apartments I have ever had on HomeAway. I visited in August with my wife and two teen daughters. Communication with Dean all the way through the booking and up to collecting the keys was first rate. On the day of arrival we were met by his Dad Boris, who had reserved a car parking space for us. The apartment is up a flight of stairs to the second floor, no lift, so be prepared to carry suitcases up.
The apartment is spacious. A large hallway leading to the bathroom, a large kitchen diner with a utility room and washing machine. There is a large living room, balcony and two large bedrooms. Air con in the bedrooms and dining room.
As the apartment is so close to the centre parking is difficult. We tended to find parking about 300m walk away, in parking zone 2 and paying about 5 kuna per hour. Parking in zone 2 is free from 7pm to 7am and free from 14.30 Saturdays and free Sunday and we just fed the meter until around 10.30am when we left in the morning. On street parking is available close by but spaces are tight.
The apartment was generally clean but does need some TLC. Only real issue was the bathroom. The door wouldnt close and the bathroom itself is a little dated. We also had quite a few wasps come in each day so there must be a nest close by, possibly in the wood of the bathroom window.
The apartment is only 5 mins walk from Diocletians Palace, the historic heart of the city and couldn't be better located. There is a Tommy supermarket virtually next to the apartment and sells virtually everything you want.
Whilst we were there we visited Supetar as foot passengers but wish we had gone back with the car. Also visited Sibenik, a beautiful city, Krka national park which was hellishly busy and expensive. We used the beaches at Kasjuni and also Slatine over on the island of Ciovo as the water was so clear and plenty of beach cafes. We did a day trip to Omis by car but the traffic was awful about 5km out of Omis.
This is a great apartment in a great city and would highly recommend.

The apartment was beautiful and historic. Lots of unique touches and obviously luxurious back in its heyday. Location was absolutely perfect- easy walking distance to both beach and palace. Dishwasher was weak and there was no scrubber/washcloth to do them by hand (only steel wool which would have scratched them), so some dishes in the cabinets were less than sparkling clean. Don’t let that deter you from this rental, it’s a tiny inconvenience for an unforgettable place. If you have a car, parking can be tricky. You are zone 1 on that block, but the next block up is zone 2. When we arrived, we wanted to plug the machine with enough money to pay the daily rate so we could go enjoy the city, but that required 19 5 Kuna coins (no bills or cards at the meter) and of course that was impossible because it was our first day in Croatia and stores there guard their coins carefully and will not change bills for you. Other option was SMS payment, but you must have a Croatian SIM card (which we didn’t.). We finally found the solution, although it’s not posted on the meter. Download the app Paydo. You can then pay for Split parking on there with a foreign credit card. I know it works because I saw the meter reader come and he ticketed other cars, but not ours. What a relief!

Close enough to enjoy all the action, yet still feels like a secluded hideaway. A wonderful old building in a great neighborhood.

Simply beautiful
We were 7 guys and girls from Italy and all of us really enjoyed our holiday in Spli and in Villa Flora. All the descriptions written on the site were accurated. We were positive surprised from the dimension of the apartment, very big and also clean and well-manteined.We don't need to use the car because it was at 5 minutes on foot from the Diocletian's Palace(the Split's heart) and 10 minutes to Bacvice beach. There was no noise near the apartment. We have a fantastic customer service with also the possibility to try a very good croatian wine. All the activities and attractions were very close to the apartment. In fact in the palace there were a lot a beautiful and also good and not expensive restaurant. A lot of bars. There are also some discos near the harbour and a lot of other bars and disco near Bacvice. So considering all of this i would really reccomend this property to everyone :)

Great Apartment in the Very City Centre
We stayed in Split for one week and loved the apartment which is situated only a short walk from the old centre, the Palace of Diocletian. It was easy to get everywhere; e.g. the central bus station was just some steps away down the street.
The apartment itself is really vast, with great rooms and high ceilings. The charm of a 100 years old Art Nouveau building, reflected by the historic windows, doors and furniture, is combinated with all comfort we could emagine (e.g. air condition, a modern, fully equipped kitchen...).
We stayed in the apartment with six people. There are two seperate rooms for two or three persons each (providing some privacy), and a sleeping couch in the central living room. Enough space for everybody.
We would certainly stay in this apartment next time in Split again, and would recommend it, especially if you like it classy:-)

Good location, spacious apartment.
Good apartment for a family or two couples. Very spacious. New, big kitchen, good bathroom, good aircon. Three out of five beds with new matresses. Small supermarket across the street. Green market and the fantastic old town within 3 minutes. Old Split gets 5 stars.

A nice stay
A HUGE very nice apartment a few blocks (an easy walk) from the port in Split. A few small things which could have made it a bit nicer: in the bedroom on the left side (as you enter), please unlock the wardrobe so the visitor could unpack! That bedroom could also use a table and a chair or two. To my taste the bed was a bit too hard. And in the kitchen, a providing a coffeemaker would have made breakfast a bit easier to make.
