The Bathroom was nice, very well put together for the size of the space.
I didn't like that the site stated breakfast was available but the cafe wasn't opened until after 9. I had a spill and the wet spot on the sheet was automatically stained indicating a dirty mattress. A mattress cover isn't that expensive. I really didn't like being charged XCD$6.00 for a small bottle of water and XCD$12.00 for 1 cup of black coffee, no cream, no sugar. Then at check out as I'm about to leave a "walk through" is done to "make sure it is the way I received it" wow. What was I gonna steal the paintings off the wall? The room was bare minimum necessary to be comfortable. The oweer and staff were pleasant but the facility can use a few minor touches. All in all, I liked the facility, however, not being able to heat or cook some food was most disappointing of it all.

My partner and I booked this accommodation for 4 nights. On arrival, we were disappointed to find there was no water. We were advised by the owner of the hotel that the government occasionally turn the water off. We decided to persevere with this and stayed the night, only to find the electricity had cut off. This left us with no AC and no means to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones. We raised the concern with the owner who simply said “its better you leave if you aren’t happy”. This was really disappointing as the room itself was lovely. We were asked to pay for 1 night accommodation which my partner and I didn’t feel was appropriate as we paid for basic amenities that were not provided. If there is a regular issue with electricity and water, this should be clearly stated so people are aware. Luckily alternative accommodation was found, which provided hot water and electricity (also 3 star accommodation) - I have raised the issue with booking.com as I feel the advertisement of this accommodation is misleading.

it had a tropical look nice view of the water.
unless you dont mind being close to the stingray place thats fine, I seen ants informed ime its because of the rain np. Then I seen them in my bed I wasnt gonna say anything but the cook made it seem like i was lying i never asked for a refund then i showed him the video he told me he seen stuff at hotels before but didnt complain i told him thats fine but not in your bed, he wanted to argue with me. Hotel is faraway like 30 mins from saint john so have a car, then on my last day there was no running water. The only reason im saying this cause yhe cook made it seem im lying.

The location was in a quiet residential area. The home cooked food was excellent and Sharon opened the kitchen that was supposed to be closed for 4 hungry travellers. The Chef cooked us a great home cooked dinner and we were so grateful. It was very clean, had a working air conditioner if we had needed it and a quiet fridge which was great. They allow pets, which is rare.
The pillows were a bit lumpy but whatever. It was farther from the airport than we expected.

Very Comfortable room, Peaceful location and very friendly staff! David I’m the kitchen is a chilled, cool guy.
I would recommend a car, very close to sting ray city with a peaceful nights sleep

Not much except that it was located in a tranquil area.
A young man was there to check us in when we arrived around 2am
When we arrived, atthere was no electricity and water on the property.
I asked the young man for the key for the room so he called the lady and she said that they key was not on property and since we are only staying one night we don’t need it. I thought she was crazy so that encounter gave me a red flag as to who and what I was dealing with.
The electricity came back around 5:30 am or thereabouts and I was awaken by the sound of the air condition unit outside my window. The bed is positioned adjacent to the air condition unit. Madness
I decided to take a shower so I allowed the water to run for a bit but it wasn’t getting hot so I asked the lady if she has hot water in the room. Her response to me was that, “sometimes we do and sometimes we don’t”. I looked at her with concern and she responded by asking me if I understood what she said. I said I heard you but I am trying to understand what you are really telling me because at that point I knew she was not been honest.
I ran the water for a little while longer but it never got warm, it was cold as ice.
The property is poorly equipped for hosting guests even for one night.
I believe Booking.com ought to remove it from its website, this place should not be recommended until a generator is in place and basic facilities are installed.
Whilst there I overheard another guest who was accompanied by a lady complaining about the Wi-Fi password and the gentleman expressed to me that he was checking out this afternoon. He was not pleased with the accommodation provided.
Kindly remove this place from your website forthwith before someone sue Booking.com for recommending such a sub-standard facility that is located at the end of the farthest point in Antigua offering very little security to the guests

We loved the location, our room, the privacy and the views. Breakfast we ordered off menu was amazing. It was definitely a get away experience.
We didn't like the "breakfast included" part of our stay. "Breakfast included" consisted of only bagels, crackers, tea and cream cheese. Very disappointing. We ended up ordering breakfast off menu for our 2 days there. Would have been great to get a heads up about what "breakfast included" meant beforehand.

We were warmly received by Sharon and Michelle who made us feel very welcome. Our room was well kept and very clean. It was large and comfortable. Sharon was very helpful with arranging taxis and a car for us, and she was able to help with all our questions. The air con and Wi-Fi were both great and the food was yummy (and the coffee was amazing). We really enjoyed our stay.
We didn’t realise how far away the property is from any beaches (too far to walk). You definitely need to rent a car to get around.

No hot water. One room had no water at all, changed rooms after one day (and given a refund).

We expected breakfast to be continental but was far from it.
Wish it had a kitchenette in the room but we survived without it.

I liked that the owners are local people who know their neighbourhood. The cooking by Sharon was excellent and I got a great variation of food over my 15 days of stay. Breakfast is complementary.
I chose Ellen Bay Inn because it's a bit off the beaches, which was a good thing during Covid. For beach access, you would use a rental car. Parking is no problem at all.
