About this condo rental
We call this apartment EP1. This apartment is located in a beautiful Bauhaus building, with access to a green, roof top garden that also offers a view of the Parthenon. The apartment has a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a marble en suite bathroom. The king size bed can be set up as two singles. Two more people sleep in the living room (large comfortable sofa and a portable bed). The apartment also has two private balconies. Free WiFi, A/C and laundry facilities. Apartment EP1 is located on the first floor. Access to the apartment is made by a beautiful marble and to the roof top by an iron stair case. Location info This apartment is located in Psirri, minutes’ walk away from Monastiraki and Plaka. Monastiraki station serves the Athens International airport and the port of Piraeus. Plaka is the heart of Athens historical city centre, where most main monuments are located. Psirri is a place where you still find lovely artisan shops such as candle making and leather workshops. It has great restaurants, cafes and art spaces. You will also find grocery stores, bakeries and the Athens Central Food Market, the famous Varvakios Agora. Walking around Psirri can be deceiving as it has many old buildings and lots of street art. The street art scene has produced many outstanding artists and their work is widely photographed and admired. The artisan shops, the residents who greet each other by their first names and the visitors create a place of unique character. CHECK IN INFO • We are happy to provide flexible check in and checkout times, so just let us know when you would like to arrive and depart and we will do our best to satisfy your requests. Please note that depending on availability check in will be by 3pm and check out is by 11am. • For arrivals between 21:00 and 09:00 we recommend to use our reliable taxi drivers who will pick you up at the airport and check you into the apartment. The cost is 45 Euros up until 23:00 and 60 Euros between 23:00 and 05:00. (mini van for larger groups also available). Alternatively, if you make your own way to the apartment, one of our staff will welcome you at the apartment. There is a late check-in fee of 20 Euros, which you need to pay upon arrival.

The apartment is in a working class neighborhood, so you have the local flavor. New kitchen and bathroom. Just minutes from countless restaurants and bars and great nightlife.

Great two bedroom apartment (first floor with steps), full kitchen and dining area, comfortable lounge area. Close to city centre, walking distance to main attractions, cafes and bakeries galore. We felt safe and secure in this area. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Flexible with both check in and check out which was very handy. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Great location
Really convenient, walking distance to all main sites. Loads of restaurants nearby. Immediate neighbourhood bit offputting (graffiti everywhere) but felt v safe. Building work opposite meant front bedroom noisy. Useful roof terrace private to the apartment. Furniture & decor could do with some updating and bit of mold in shower but overall good vfm.

Amazing Apartment in Athens!
Such a great location in Athens. We were able to walk to all of the sites we visited. The host was also amazing with communication and helping us get transportation set up to and from the airport and to our ferry. Overall a great stay!

We thought this was a great apartment. Nicely renovated - freshly painted - very clean and neat. Minimal furnishings, but enough small touches (pillows and paintings) that it is pleasant. All modern safety measures have been added - extremely secure door and motorized outside security shades , although I think most of that is really more to protect the unit when it's unused than anything. The neighborhood "looks" a bit rough, in that there is graffitti and some trash around, but after spending time all over the city, this is pretty typical in these older neighborhoods and are what you will see anywhere if you want to be near the Acropolis area. We did a LOT of walking around and never ever felt unsafe or in any way. There is a great little bakery a short half block away, as well as a fabulous restaurant/bar, and then a whole long street of cafes and tavernas leading to a big square of more cafes, tavernas, and another couple of blocks to the great marketplace of shops. I thought it was a great spot , and of course, the view of the Parthenon was spectacular. It's lit up at night so you can lounge on the sofa and gaze at it, or have a drink on the little balcony. Great apartment for a reasonable price and the managers were great to deal with.

Close to everything
Great place to stay. Costas gave us a quick orientation tour of the neighborhood and was available if needed. You are within 10min walk to various restaurants and monastiraki square, flea market and the metro which gets you to everywhere else that’s >20 min walk away. Had a great time here!

Great location!
Lia and Costas were amazing hosts. The property was just as described and they were wonderful about providing information including securing a taxi for us both from the ferry and to the airport. A great location in Athens with easy access to the Acropolis and the metro. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful time staying at this apartment in Athens. It was right near so many great restaurants, bars, as well as the Acropolis. I'd only suggest having a warning about the front door during checkout... there's a way to accidentally lock yourself in the entryway between the apartment and front door, when you leave the keys in the apartment (which you do to check-out). Our host quickly let us out though, and it didn't impact our trip in the slightest. I'd recommend to anyone staying in Athens!!

Very good location and very nice apartment
The apartment was very clean and modern. The bathroom was very nice, loved the shower.
It’s close to many good restaurants, and to all the historical landmarks.
If you’re driving there’s a 5€/day fenced parking down the street.
Also the host was friendly and helpful.

You will be pleased you chose this one.
We found this accommodation lived up to the advertised promises. The unit was very clean, light and pleasant to be in. I loved sitting on our little balcony watch the world go by. We were a close walk to the busy touristy bits but felt tucked away in an area that felt like a very authentic slice of Greek life. There were some very nice restaurants close by including the "home cooking" style that Lia recommended. It took us only 15 minutes to walk up to the Acropolis.
You will receive very personalised service from the managers at Boutique Athens. We appreciated being met at the airport by Mihalis for the same cost as any taxi fare into Athens. Lia met us and showed us around with helpful hints and recommendations. She was interested in our plans following Athens and suggested what to look out for in other places we were visiting.
Any queries and concerns were very quickly and obligingly dealt with. Thanks Lia and Costas.

Location and comfort
A great place in Psirri, halfway between Omonia and Monostiraki Metro stations and just a couple of blocks from the main Athens green market. Great roof garden, comfortable bead and bath, spacious living/dining/kitchen combo, two nice balconies overlooking the street for breakfast or evening coffee. Staff are both fiiendly and accommodating. They meet you on arrival and, if you like, will give a quick walking tour of the neighbourhood, so you know where to find groceries, bakery, wine, etc.

Perfect location with perfect atmosphere
We stayed with a family of 3 in this splendidly renovated apartment. Great ameneties, careful renovations with stylish touched made us feel truly at home.
It was simple to reach reall everything on foot. The lively neighourhood proved essential to feel to be in a bit of "real Athens". Aside from the beautiful roof garden, the exceptional host, the great introduction and the range of useful and original tips for our stay made EP 16 probably the essential ingredient for some great 4 days.

Great place!
By the way we stayed in Ep3, but I think it was more or less the same. The only desadvantage was that we had to go down two floors and up three floors to reach the great roof top terrace. The apartment was just perfect! Interesting neigbourhood, beautiful city!

Fantastic apartment Great Location
The apartment was in a great location to get the true atmosphere of Athens and to visit the sites by foot. On arrival at the apartment was meet by Dean, who gave us a tour of the neighbourhood and pointed out some fab places to visit, which we probably would not have found ourselves, along with recommendations of where to eat. The apartment itself was great. Well maintained, clean with all the facilities required. The roof top garden was lovely a definate plus! As a group of friends we have been to many places, but all agreed that Athens was among the top short breaks we have taken. This also had a lot to do with the location, apartment and the friendly people of Athens, including Dean oh and lets not forget Bella!!

When can we go back?!!
We loved our stay. We are a family of five so we rented two apartments together and it was absolutely perfect. They are beautifully finished, spotlessly clean and everything you might need is right at hand. The owner could not have been more helpful and we sincerely appreciated the local tour as we arrived. Knowing all the best spots and being introduced to a few of the shop/restaurant keepers made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The neighbourhood is certainly a mix of old and new but we liked that. The roof terrace is absolutely amazing. All around one of the best holidays we have had as a family. Can't wait to go back!

Nice place to stay in Athens
We stay in this apartment for 4 nights, very convenience and all facilities let us very comfortable. Also host very nice, we will stay in this place again when we can go there.

Great Accommodation
When our taxi driver pulled into the street and stopped in front of the building our initial thoughts were that we had made a mistake in booking this apartment. Our fears were soon put to rest when we were greeted at the front door by the owner of the building, Dean (also an Aussie) and taken up the grand marble staircase to our top floor apartments. We had the top two apartments which were interconnecting. They were more than we had hoped for - very modern, spacious, recently re-furbished, sparkling clean and freshly painted white. Excellent. The roof top garden was amazing with fews of the Acropolus, plenty of seating and fully stocked bar fridge (all on the house). Dean showed us through the apartment and then came back an hour later and took us on a walking tour around the neighbourhood pointing out all the best places to go, where to eat and shop for groceries. Turns out our apartment was within walking distance to so many attractions and the hop on hop off bus stops. It wasn't long before we really began of love the neighbourhood. There were areas close by where you wouldn't want to venture into, and we were warned about them, but if you stick to the tourist routes and restaurant areas you shouldn't have a problem. I can highly recommend these apartments and if ever we go back to Athens would stay there again. There is no lift in the building, so if you have a problem with stairs it might be best to ask for a ground floor apartment.

Unique wonderful experience
When I entered the appartment I already felt "at home" - it was only later that I started taking in all the wonderful details-
I loved it very much, especially as the appartment is located in a neighbourhood which is "rich": real live with all its contrast: the almost archaic market the bars with original music and greek guests dancing in such an intense way that seeing this is already worth the journey, and many more details- no smooth romantic kitsch however- just wonderful

Great Location, Beautiful Apartment
We never write comments about where we stay, but we felt we had to this time. We stayed at this apartment in March 2010. We arrived from London at 10am and made our way by the Metro to the apartments. First we were welcomed by Nikki at the Monastiraki Metro Station. The train ride from the airport was inexpensive, clean and quick. We were amazed, as my train experience in Athens in 1994 was nowhere near as positive. On our way to the apartment, Nikki showed us around the immediate area, which we thought was magical. We took 5 minutes to get to the apartment, which is housed in a building with no signs or any indication of the beauty that was within. The apartment was sparkling clean, large and beautifully furnished. The roof top was unbelievable. Views of the Acropolis, free beer and wine, mature plants and big tables for communal dining and day beds for lounging around. This area was so much more than we thought we would find in Athens. The area is very near all of the best of old Athens nightlife. Bouzoukia bars, tavernas and old style Greek cafes are within two minutes walk. I could say much more. What I want to say is I can highly recommend the apartment the staff and the amenities and the proximity to all the great things of Athens. Tim and Julie

excellent flat , location handy but "colourful"
The appartments are great, clean, well-stocked with goodies nice layout, art, comfortable beds. Howeger the district is a bit difficult it is very handy for nightlife, resaurants, clubs 5mins walk to monastiraki metro and direct line to airport, walking distance to the big central market and shopping and quite quiet. However, this is an area undergoing change and there are still drug takers in the streets nearby sometimes or homeless people. However a walk around in the day will show you where not to walk at night, If you want to be centrally located its great but if you are not used to a cosmopolitan big city atmosphere and being used to being street wise, this is not for you . If you want a modern home for a whlie and to be close to the nightlife then the view of the acropolis from the roof garden with the free ouzo/beer available this makes it a good deal

great comfortable time
I spend 6 days with my family (my husband and my 2 kids) in these apts. We had great time. Great value for money. Our kids were sleeping in a separate space but with the middle doors open. It was like having a very big appartment of our own. Kids loved it because they could have their privacy as well. Fully furnished kitchen. Every morning we were preparing our breakfast and eating it in the beautiful communal terrace. We are a greek family who have travelled in europe and asia. I have to say that is one of the best spaces i have stayed with great price.

Stylish Hotel Alternative
Beautifully renovated luxury apartments in an art deco building on the fringes of Psirri in a very authentic Athenian neighborhood allow the visitor to blend in with the city comfortably and easily. All the conveniences of a hotel are available (but much more space plus a full kitchen!) and common terrace for the guests to use. Very accommodating staff and excellent prices make this place a genuine find.
