Situated in Budva Municipality, this charming villa for $741 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Ideally located between the buzzing medieval Old Town of Budva and the famous picturesque Sveti Stefan. Nestled up against the mountain side, just 10-15 min walk from the sandy Becici beach, the villa offers the best of both worlds: peaceful breathtaking panoramic views of the bay and the surrounding mountains while at the same time just a stroll away from lively cafes and restaurants. In close proximity, are two 5 star hotels where one can indulge in gourmet cuisine and be pampered in luxury spas. A great family holiday spot, that is particularly child friendly. The villa has been renovated in 2007, mostly using natural materials, stone and wood throughout, capturing the most of the beautiful surroundings and magical light. It is fully equipped and tastefully furnished. The house is very spacious (430m?) with three huge terraces on each level with uninterrupted water views. Just above the house, you can enjoy beautiful hikes in the mountain with captivating views and pristine nature Further details: Close to the house (about 300m) there are two small convenience shops for your daily needs, but we recommend great food market in Budva, where you can buy lots of organic products sourced from local farmers. Becici, Sveti Stefan and Budva have banks, medical centres and tourist information centres, as well as dozens of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The best night-life is found in Budva. Close to the house there are two 5 star hotels that provide luxurious spas for your pampering and indulgence. The Adriatic is regarded as one of the world's clearest seas, so indulge in scuba or snorkelling. Travel: Tivat Airport is about 25 km away, Podgorica airport 50 km and Dubrovnik Airport about 120 km away. Flights from the UK to Dubrovnik are frequent (try Thomsonfly, Flybe, Ba and Croatiaairlines). Summer flights to Tivat from Heathrow and other European airports are ideal given proximity to villa (check BA, JAT, Montenegro airways). Port of Bar is 38 km away. The last 100m of the road to the house is a dirt road that is awaiting renovations by the municipality before the summer season. Car hire is recommended. Many cheap internet car rental offers are available. Distances: All the major sights of coastal Montenegro are within easy driving distance: Budva, Sveti Stefan, Petrovac, Prcanj, Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, etc. The ancient capital of Cetinje can be reached in just over an hour by taking the breathtaking, hairpin mountain road. Skadar Lake is less than 30km away from the villa. The mountainous interior of Montenegro is worth at least a one-day excursion to explore amongst others Ostrog Monastery, Tara Canyon (the 2nd deepest in the world), Durmitor National Park,...

We stayed with 8 friends, the house is very spacious and clean with a wonderful pool. Communication was fast and very helpful. We would highly recommand this place, especially if you are looking for a more quiet and nice place to enjoy the company you are with.

We were two Norwegian families with kids aged 10 and 14 that spent a week together at lovely Villa Jelka.
The house worked really well for us, enough space for 8 people to live together without getting crowded. We used the pool and the different outdoor areas a lot and the rooftop terrace was really nice to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset.
I would recommend that you have a car during your stay, it’s not easy to get around without one.
Jovan, the property manager, was really helpful and can help with all practical matters from what taxi company to choose and arrange boat trips.

Villa Jelka is a beautiful place: Large and tasteful rooms, great terraces, a nice pool, plenty of everything you need in the kitchen. Communication with the owner and the property manager was always pleasant and the hand-over at check-in / check-out was super-smooth.
We enjoyed being a bit off the town in a quiet area but still in walking distance to the beach and restaurants (and a wonderful little waterfall).

The villa is reached by climbing uphill and inland from the busy road that runs through the Budva riviera, yet once you arrive at the house, all is calm and peaceful.
The house is on three floors, all with a terrace where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view. The swimming pool is delightful, although there is no shallow end or step.
The local manager, Jovan, could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything worked well, including the vital air conditioning and wifi.
A perfect base for a relaxing getaway - close to all the facilities, but tranquil and not disturbed by it

Super comfortable stay in spacious, beautiful home
Had a wonderful holiday with friends and family in this beautiful, large house. The well-designed home allowed everyone to enjoy their own space with gorgeous terraces that overlooked the bay. The kitchen was functional and had everything we needed. The manager, Jovo, was extremely helpful in organising lifts, giving information and helping to book some short trips. A great spot.

It is perfect as a base to explore Montenegro and Kotor if you can bring yourself to leave the villa. A perfect stay!
We were a group of 8 and the villa felt massive for us! it is an amazing space and we loved every part of our time in the villa and Montenegro. It is perfect as a base to explore Montenegro and Kotor if you can bring yourself to leave the villa. The pool is an ideal size and there are so many places to sit and relax in the sun between all of the terraces you will never get bored. All together a 5 star villa, would highly recommend to anybody!

Wij verbleven met 8 mannen van rond de 35 j een week in deze villa.
We hadden hier een zalige tijd.
De villa is echt zoals op de foto's.
Enig minpuntje waren de nogal lichte gordijnen waardoor het morgens rap licht was.
Huisbaas was ook heel aangenaam en behulpzaam.

FANTASTIC TRIP!!! GREAT PLACE
So, where do I begin? Well, that we had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed for a week in July 2016 -- my husband and I, our two teenage kids and my dad. Despite the HORDES of tourists in Budva, Kotor and Dubrovnik (so go early to any of these places to beat the crowds), this villa provides the peace and calm every vacation needs. We took advantage of cooking fresh fish at the lovely stone grill (stop at the fish market on the way from the ferry to the villa -- much better than the fish market at the Budva mega market), daily swims in the pool with fantastic views of the sea, peaceful reading on the many terraces throughout the house (so many nice environments to choose from). And Montenegro itself is an adventure -- We visited Kotor, drove the whole bay, swam in Kotor bay, drove to Lake Skadar and returned via a very picturesque mountain road, ate at the lovely Konoba Catovica Mlini on the bay, immersed ourselves in the country's great wine, honey and Prsuit. Maja was fabulous (even tho we didn't personally meet), esp considering we had a few travel bumps that she worked through with us. House manager Jovo met us to take us to house and give us lay of the land. I hope we return to Montenegro someday!!!

The owner Maja, is extremely responsive and helpful. The house manager greeted us and led us to the house. The level of client service was very high. When we arrived we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful Clean well appointed and very spacious. We loved the kitchen, patios and large living room.The outdoor patios and pool are welcoming comfortable and private and allow for extraordinary views. We were a short drive to the beach and restaurants where there are a host of water activities available. It was the perfect combination of beach vacation and cultural touring- Kotor, the monastery at Ostrog and Skadar Lake.The villa is perfectly located to allow for both.
We appreciated the small market just down the hill from the Villa. The house manager gave us very good restaurant re I mendacious. We also discovered the Aman resort and beautiful beaches of Svet Stefani.

The house was beautiful, the views were stunning and the homeowners and local property manager were all very accommodating and easy to contact. We were two families, 8 people total and there was more than enough room for everybody. We really enjoyed the pool and all the great terraces. The house had everything we needed and was wonderfully peaceful for sleeping.

Great villa and pool

A Wonderful Villa with spectacular views
Despite raised expectations from previous excellent reviews Villa Jelka did not disappoint ...it truly is a wonderful holiday home. We were a party of five .. Rising to seven for a week .. And the place is so roomy that everyone felt they had space and could chill ...the pool was fabulous with both shaded and sunny areas ..the house was well appointed and beautifully maintained with regular cleaning visits. There was good parking for 1 car though we parked the other at the end if the road ..plenty of space.. We all enjoyed the villa .. Particularly the numerous terraces and the views.
We loved Montenegro too ..it is a stunning country with the hills rolling into the sea and beautiful old walled towns. The people were exceptionally friendly too and most spoke good English though clearly most tourists were either Serbs or russian. Our only criticism would be that the beach areas were very crowded indeed ...even allowing for it being the peak season. However the Villa itself ..being so far up the hills ..was an oasis of calm.

Perfect Holiday Villa in Quiet Location
We spent a week here in June and found the villa to be a perfect place to relax while being close enough to town to pop in for lunch or shopping. The villa was spotlessly clean and each morning was cleaned again by the lovely Daniella. It was fully equipped for cooking/barbequeing/clothes washing etc and indeed all items seemed to have been recently replaced. The views form the rooftop terrace are a stunning backdrop to dinner and we loved relaxing in the adjacent room afterwards. We spent many happy hours in the pool and were very glad for the heating as the weather wasn't always kind to us. Our three girls cried on our last night because they didn't want to leave and we shared their sentiment!

Great holiday in fantastic villa
We had a truly fantastic stay in this house which suited our needs perfectly. It is well planned, lot´s of room and we found it clean and welcoming. No trouble getting in contact with the owner or the caretakers who where amazing towards us and contributed greatly in making our stay both comfortable and fun. Actually, I can't come to think of a single constructive criticism to provide. Both me and my 5 fellow travellers will be glad to come back!

Calm and amazing panorama
I am French and my wife Hungarian. We spent 2 weeks end of May-beginning of June 2010 at in the villa with the 3 children. Being in the villa itself is already being on holidays. Terraces with view on the bay are incredible. Pictures can not reflect the great panorama and impression of charm and quietness of the place.
Having aperitif or a night drink on the huge terrace in the evening is a must. This view from all terraces to the sea and to the surrounding mountains is one of the best memories from the house.
Not only that, the taste and decoration inside the house gives a mix flagrance of luxury and welcoming rustic atmosphere that makes you feel at home immediately.
We did not suffer from the heat, because the house receives the breeze in the evening, so it is even no need to use the air condition.
There are many advantages in this house. It is on the hill, in the middle of the nature with almost no neighbor, and at the same time walking distance from the beach and supermarket.
There is also a garden in front of the villa where grow palms, figs and grape vine with add some charm to the picture.
More practically, there is everything you need in the house, modern kitchen, TV equipment with Satellite, DVD player and wifi internet connection. There are BBQ, big table and sun beds in the garden too.
I recommend the villa Jelka to everybody as it can meet all types of needs. Share holidays with friend or with family or alone with your partner. The house can accommodate actually 2 families with children or a group of friends.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and speak several languages which makes your holidays even more enjoyable

A lovely vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in villa Jelka from September, 06 till September, 13 2009. Actually, the villa is more beautiful than is shown at the web site. There are wide kitchen, dining and sitting rooms furnished in appropriate way for 8 people. The bedrooms are nice and cozy with magnificent sea view. In fact the view from each of three large terraces to the sea and to the surrounding mountains is fascinating and unforgettable.
There is green garden in front of the villa where grow palms, figs and grape vine. There are BBQ, big table and sun beds in the garden too.
If you want you can prepare the meal in the villa. You can buy products from supermarkets in Becici or in Budva. You have to visit market-place in Budva where you can find home-made vegetables, fruits, butter, cheese, olives, olives oil, proshuto and various type of bread. All of them are delicious.
About the beaches, I recommend the beaches near St. Stefan Island and camping Jazz. The camping is 10-15 minute drive towards Tivat /you have to turn left after going dawn from the first tunnel. /
There is a large beach in 10 minutes` walk from the villa but the sand is coarse.
Of course, you have to visit old town in Budva, Kotor, Perast, Herzeg Novi, Tivat and Skadarsko Lake as well.
I recommend villa Jelka to everyone. Have a nice holiday!

A dream place
I spent 2 weeks in Villa Jelka with 5 friends. We attended in a very important chess competition, so we were going to choose a luxury, comfortable and 5-star place to stay, and to be honest we managed to find that. We haven't ever stayed at such a good place like Villa Jelka. The villa is just huge and beautiful, everything was perfect and clean. The view from the 3 balconys was simply fabulous of the brighting see, which amazed all of us. We felt like in the Heaven or in paradise. We could have a luxury life for 2 weeks. The villa was even very well-equipped with all the modern tools and machines. There was a big supermarket near the Villa, so it took only a few minutes to get the every-day.things. Around the Villa was hills, which means that the Villa is found in a very quiet place.
I can reccomend this place everybody (all ages) who enjoys luxury, comfort and who likes having a fantastic holiday.
I am sure when I am back to Budva, I will choose this Villa again!!

The Villat is spacious and has a contemporary modern feel,is furnished very tastefully, it gave us caseful feeling. Very clean and great amenities.It was lovely to wake up in the morning and see the sun shining and the fantastic view to the sea through the big balcony straight up from the bed. The Villa is perfectly located. It is 10 min drive to Budva, few minutes walk to the Becici beach, 10 minutes drive to other best beaches, such as Sveti Stefan and Milocher.There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around Becici and Budva. The restaurant inside Budva's old town city walls has great views over the sea, restaurant Secret Garden in Old Town is great. The owner was always very prompt in dealing with our queries (we corresponded by email and phone), and we appreciated the pointers and suggestions that she provided to us shortly after booking. We spend there our best holiday ever, and we know already that we are coming back.I thoroughly recommend this Villa in every way.

We're mad for Monte
We stayed in Montenegro for a week from 22/09/08 specifically to go to the Madonna concert on Jaz Beach. We spent 2 days at the Hotel Splendid, and our friends joined us for 5 days at the fantastic Villa Jelka. The house is beautiful, light, well equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the top floor terrace and ate breakfast up there each day overlooking the bay. The outdoor furniture up there is great, perfect for chilling. We had figs and walnuts from the garden which were an unexpected treat.
We ate at several lovely restarants and particularly enjoyed Tri Ribera down by the sea which serves freshly caught fish. Also Langust was good. Enjoyed visiting Kotor Old Town and Kotor Bay - Perast is particularly picturesque. Walked along to Sveti Stefan which is very pretty too.
The owners of the house, Maja and Stefane, were really helpful. I can't recommend it enough.
