Stayed at the villa Dec 2019, over Christmas. Booked for 2 weeks but ended up going home early. We didn’t hire a car and found the villa a bit to remote for us. The villa itself is nice we had no issues in a quite residential area, only problem was not a nice smell from the bottom bathroom which was probably the drains . The walk up to Benalmádena paublo was a good uphill climb and took us about 20/25 minutes. It’s worth the walk or a taxi it’s a pretty little village with restaurants and a few hotels .The nearest supermarket is 40 minutes on foot so you realistically need a car or a taxi. Train station is 20 minutes down hill and from there you can access Benalmadena centre ,Malaga Fuengirola, and many more little towns, Which we used Most days and very cheap to . We went to Malaga, to see the Christmas lights what a Beautiful city. There’s plenty to see and do so it a nice quiet base but a bit to much for us the walk back up the hills I would recommend you hire a car .

Heel leuk huisje super zwembad echt alles in orde . Juist in één kamer met drie eenpersoons bedden waarvan er twee matrassen aan verandering toe zijn. En toch een onaangename reuk in beide badkamers. Maar wij zouden daar zeker kunnen leven .

Our family of 4 had a wonderful weeks stay at Casa Burton. The villa was ideal for us with great views. The walk up to the village was a little taxing in the midday sun but other than that the location was brilliant. We would certainly recommend the property to family and friends and next time we plan to visit the Benalmádena area we will be in touch. Thank you Regards Gary and Anne

La maison est grande et propre, jolie et entretenue. On a eu un bon accueil de Lydia. En mars, il est nécessaire de faire chauffer la piscine sinon on ne peut pas en profiter. Les points plus négatifs : les 2 salles de bain dégagent une forte odeur d égouts. Il est impossible de prendre une douche à l étage car le débit d eau est un minuscule filet. Il n y a donc qu une salle de bain utilisable, celle avec la baignoire. Mais si l eau du.bain coule, impossible de faire une vaisselle par exemple. Ce qui est dommage aussi, c est qu il y a un grand pilonne électrique dans la rue, juste à côté de la maison. Toutes les chaînes de télévision sont en anglais. Les matelas sont très durs en bas et en haut, on sent fort les ressorts. Nous avons été très surpris de trouver quelqu'un qui nettoyait la piscine en rentrant d une balade. Nous aurions préféré être prévenu.

Villa Burton was lovely and comfortable. We had great weather for the week. We used ground floor as it had all rooms we needed and I have breathing difficulties. Would not recommend upstairs for anyone with mobility problems as , but ground floor was fine. Well equipped including UK TV which was great so didn't miss my favourite programmes. The bed downstairs was the best I have ever slept in,must have been a memory foam one. Villa great location for getting to most popular places and near big supermarkets. Quiet area with good views..

As it was late October we requested that the pool be heated and it was like a warm bath. We received a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival which was a nice touch. Our car hire fell through but we managed fine without one, the village is about a 20 min walk up a steep hill and you can get buses from there, alternatively there is a train station a 20 min walk down hill. There are plenty of good restaurants in the village (our favourite was an Italian called Da Cosimo), we did a trip to the marina which was a bit of a contrast. Mijas is also worth a visit. lovely villa every giving everything you need for a relaxing stay. norma and everyone we dealt with including pool men very friendly and helpful. the whole family loved having our own pool and spent lots of time enjoying it. Only thing id say for anyone else is everyone said 10 mins walk to pueblo and it took a lot longer and up very steep roads only did it once and in the heat with a pushchair and a 3 year old not something i tried again.Also not well lit as well as very steep walk if undertaken of a night.Taxis cheap but with 6 of us needed 2 each time each way so in the end ended up hiring a car.Not something that would put us off coming again but would hire car from the start now that we know. once in benalmedina buses and trains to explore surrounding area and lots of nice and reasonable places to eat,enjoyed the marina which wasnt as expensive as expected. would recommend this lovely villa as long as you have no mobility problems or are happy to use taxis or hire a car to get about.perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The house was very nice, a car would be an advantage but we managed fine with taxis. We paid to have the pool heated which was fabulous, just like getting into a bath, would highly recommend.we had a couple of problems, no water for half a day, rang and waited for a call back which never came but the water came back on later in the day. Had no tv for the entire stay but you don't go to Spain to sit indoors watching tv. Overall enjoyed our stay

Lovely little house. I say little - it looks little but it isn't! Makes a nice change to have EVERYTHING you need & all working! from the TV to the BBQ. Kitchen has more than enough utensils. Comfy sofas. Really quiet. Day & night. Pool area nice and no one looking over. Wifi worked perfectly. We had a car for driving to beach etc would recommend as although you can walk to the village it's about 20 mins and not always convenient especially in heat....or maybe take a cab.... we enjoyed our stay at Casa Burton and seeing as we visit the area pretty much every year we feel we may have found our home from home! Highly recommended!

Kids loved the pool had a small problem with water pressure which was resolved quickly The townhouse has everything you need for a great holiday and location is good

Un bon accueil de notre hôtesse, malgré l'heure tardive (22h00) a débuté notre semaine, la piscine était la bien venue, pour les plus courageux le village très sympathique et pittoresque avec beaucoup de restaurants, des épiceries et boulangerie, est à 15/20mn à pied. La maison est conforme à l'annonce. Une voiture est quand même à prévoir pour circuler et découvrir la région. Les Andalous sont très accueillants.

Super vacances du 05/09 au 15/09/2016. La maison et ses extérieurs étaient comme dans l'annonce. La piscine atout majeur de la maison, était formidable, bien entretenue. La maison est très bien équipée, très propre. rien ne manquait (serviettes pour la piscine, serviettes de toilettes ...) . La maison est bien située, au calme sans vis à vis. Les propriétaires ont été tres disponibles pour des renseignements lors de nos échanges de mail. Rien à dire. A recommander vivement.

Our stay at Mike and Norma's villa was fantastic! We stayed for one week in mid-June and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The villa was tidy and well-maintained and was the perfect size for our group (two couples and two children). I must say the views were amazing of both the sea and the mountains. The kids were IN LOVE with the pool and we spent a lot of our time relaxing in the backyard enjoying it. The air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms worked great which was a major bonus at night! The nearby Pueblo had a great grocery store and bakery that we used multiple times and also had many tasty restaurants that would suit any palette. We took taxis most places as the hills are a steep climb both up AND down (especially for children in the heat), but taxis were cheap usually costing only about 6 euros anywhere we wanted to go. We would love to come back some day!

We have wonderful holidays here every year, and counting down the days until we return again next year. The house is decorated to a high standard, and provides all those luxurious touches to make your stay even more special. The kids love the private pool and having the chance to catch up on UK TV channels in the cosy lounge. The house is just minutes walk away from the most beautiful village, boasting the most amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. There is something for everyone here, but if your feeling in the mood for the busier areas, its only a short taxi ride down to the Marina.

A fantastic villa in an amazing location. We spent a week here with our 15yr old daughter and her friend and all loved every minute of it. The villa is wonderful and really does have everything you could wish for. It is a home from home with all the facilities you could need (fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, TV,DVD); it's beautifully furnished and decorated; spacious and great for relaxing. The pool is perfect and cleaned regularly - twice during our one week stay, and the outdoor area has lighting so that it can be enjoyed at night time. The location is excellent - 10 min walk ( up a steep hill) or taxi for 5/6 euros into the village which is a 'picture postcard' Spanish village with white narrow streets leading into a beautiful square edged with lovely restaurants and bars. The village really came alive at night with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. There are so many fantastic places to visit nearby-amongst many Puerto Banus, Marbella and our favourite Mijas. Overall it was a great holiday - the villa was perfect, the village of Pueblo was a real taste of tradition and the surrounding location offered many great days out. Mike and Norma couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful with their information and recommendations for places to visit.Can't wait to go again.
