The Bluff River flows through the middle of Donegal and provides a pleasant evening or morning wander. In the evening sit around the firepit and BBQ with a beer or a wine, and look up at the expanse of unblemished starry sky above. Nearby is the Washpool National Park with outstanding lookouts and Torrington Nature Reserve with bushwalking. Baldrock and Boonoo Boonoo Falls on the other side of Tenterfield are well worth a visit. Tenterfield itself is only 15 minutes away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and museums to explore.
