About this cottage rental

Enjoy our quality self contained chalets complete with log fires, bbq and microwave. Linen, crockery & cutlery supplied. Chalet 1 is wheelchair friendly. We have 3 self contained chalets nestled in natural bushland, all with a bath to help you unwind. We're able to cater for groups up to 22 people. The verandahs are ideal to sit back and relax, take in the views of the bush, sip a local wine, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the myriad of birds that abound in the Nannup area. In Spring, we are blessed with a beautiful display of wildflowers and native orchids. Chalet 2 has a round yard next to the chalet, suitable for 1-4 horses depending upon their temperament and whether they will share the space. There's also a loop road so you don't have to back a horse float! At night, enjoy spotlighting a possum or two, and really seeing the millions of bright stars in the clear skies. Local Attractions Nannup offers great restaurants and cafes, cheese, wineries, local crafts and fine hand crafted furniture in a friendly 'garden village'. Try the mini golf, canoe the Blackwood, Nannup is the centre of the wheel with great day trips out to the surrounding areas such as Augusta, Margaret River, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Bridgetown, Balingup, Pemberton and Manjimup, then 'home' to a warm log fire in Winter or a swim in the Blackwood River at Barrabup Pool in Summer. Nannup is a pleasant place to stay a night or a week when travelling around the south west. Nannup has several special events each year from the Music Festival in March, Quit Forest Rally in April, Flower & Garden Festival in August and provides easy access to other events such as the Bridgetown Blues, Truffle Kerfuffle, Cherry Festival and other music and gourmet delights, tours to the Yeagerup Dunes or cruise the Donnelly River. Our back boundary is the Timberline Trail, a loop off the Munda BIddi and ideal for mountain bike riders and bushwalkers. Whether you like star gazing, bird watching, wildflowers or adventures, craft or gourmet excursions, Nannup is an ideal place to visit. The Goose Shed Function Centre The Goose Shed is a unique function centre in a rustic bush setting. It is a timber and iron building that started life as a sturdy jarrah machinery shed but now hosts great events such as conferences, retreats and accommodation for groups such as bike riders, craft groups, 4WD clubs. We can organise catering for you or you can utilise the kitchen facilities to self cater. The 'Goose Shed' is wheel chair friendly, and overlooks lakes, abundant wildlife and farm pets such as alpacas, sheep and goats. You can hit a golf ball in the paddocks, kick the footy, hit a six or fly a kite. Kids can get back in touch with nature. It is ideal for corporate or family gatherings, and we can organise packages to suit your requirements. My daughter and I had a lovely stay - following a hectic Christmas. Accommodation was great, aircon worked a treat and the beds were very comfortable. Setting was just what we needed, relaxing and quiet. Location just out of Nannup was great and beautiful drives to surrounding towns and sights filled in the days. Highly recommended

The owner met us on arrival and was very welcoming. Kitchen and living room were smaller than we expected so clouded our opinion of the chalet but overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience
