Located in a leisure area known for its young atmosphere, the surfing life, the terraces and bars, this modern apartment is just in front of Zurriola beach. The apartment is a perfect convination: the city center and the Old Quarter are within a 10 minutes walk. Located just in the first line of Zurriola beach, the stylish-chic apartment has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and there is a second bedroom with two single beds. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, one of which is an ensuite for the master bedroom. Each bathroom feature wonderful showers. The living room has an open concept kitchen and dining area. Both the master bedroom, the living room and the dining/kitchen area, face Zurriola Beach.

Great location with unbeatable sunset views. If you want to stay out of the central area of San Sebastián, this apartment offers the opportunity to stay in a great part of town with lots of nearby restaurants, bars, and shops. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this San Sebastián beach property for five days and loved it. The view onto the beach was fabulous, the apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. Everything you want to see in San Sebastián is within walking distance. Below the apartment is al lively area with a handful of restaurants and coffee shops, including a place you can buy warm chocolate croissants in the morning and a tiny grocery store for essentials. Only negatives are, as others have mentioned, it can be noisy on the street and the window blinds do not block out the light. Nothing earplugs and eye covers can’t fix.

We had a wonderful experience with this property. It was small quarters, but smartly and aesthetically designed to comfortably fit a family of four. Would absolutely rent again as it was steps from the beach.

My son and I came to Spain for three weeks
My son and I came to Spain for three weeks. We were in San Sebastian for 3.5 and we attended a Spanish school in the mornings. He's a musician and he busked quite a few times around town, a great experience with a receptive crowd for a Texas Rocker. Through the school he took surf lessons. This apartment was perfect for us. It’s bright and nicely decorated. He could see out the window to look at waves and know when to head out to surf. If you are a a light sleeper it is a bit of a challenge because one hears activity from the restaurant just below pretty much from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There is no music, just talking and it was something that was easy to get used to. I AM a light sleeper but the bedroom on the inside was quiet enough for me between those hours. All in all a really good rental for the money and it was just perfect for our purpose. Walking along the beach to town and to school every day was very enjoyable!
The service to get the key was easy and the staff at Rentals Collection was efficient and helpful. I don’t know why other people were complaining about having to go the office to to get the key on a Sunday. I did that and it was no big deal. I live in Texas and we have the can do spirit! Don’t sweat the little things. It’s two miles away. You’re in a beautiful place so enjoy yourself!!

The apartment was excellent. Our only issue was the location above 2 bars. It was very noisy starting late afternoon and went on late into the evening.
The apartment was too bright for sleeping in the front bedroom due to the lack of shutters to block out the light from the street at night

Perfekte Lage und Ausstattung, etwas laut!
The apartment has an excellent location with a wonderful view to the west of the bay and the waves of "La Zurriola".
However, this location has the disadvantage that the noise of the bars can be heard until late in the evening. Street cleaning and garbage disposal come each night.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a residential building directly above a bar and has no balcony.
Right next to the house entrance is a small mini market with fresh fruit, bread and many groceries for daily needs.
There is little space to hang up laundry in one of the two small courtyards, where also a washing machine is located. At least you can store your surfboards here and there is even little space for a bike.
The kitchen equipment is functional. The devices are all there (filter coffee machine, capsule machine, toaster, hand blender, juicer, small microwave). The refrigerator is a bit small for four people and there is no oven.
Crockery and cutlery were sufficiently available, even quite good knives.
The apartment is very tastefully decorated, but we had to clear away the many decorative items and books to have space for our things.
Overall, we felt very comfortable there. The way to the beach couldn't be shorter and this wonderful city leaves nothing to be desired. Whether for shopping, hiking, mountain biking, surfing or enjoying the beach, we'd love to come back!

La estancia en general muy bien. No le falta de nada . Las camas muy cómodas , los baños muy bonitos de diseño , para mi gusto con poco espacio para dejar cosas y el único pero es que al ser un entresuelo huelen algo a desagüe. Muy recomendable .

Would rent it again. Would be great if they provided a few hooks to hang towels. They only provide 1 dishwasher tab. And 1 garbage bag. Zero laundry pods. And 2 toilet paper. So plan on buying more if you need it. But overall a very nice place
Only downfall is you must collect keys at a different location then have taxi wait and go to the actual house.

A beautiful apartment in a really interesting neighbourhood

My only comments would be that the bedrooms require a bit more space to hang and dry the towels (especially if there are two people in the bedroom). We had trouble getting them dry and thinking of places to hang them where they could air. The bedding in the front room was also extremely warm, so a lighter quilt may be required in summer.

This apartment is gorgeous and the views of the beach are amazing! .
However, form takes over function in this apartment. The design definitely is more important than comfort so if you are looking for somewhere to lounge this may not be the place for you.

The Scala apartment is very comfortable and stylish for 3-4 adults.
It’s a fantastic location very close to the sea with great views of the surfers! You can walk into the city centre in about 15 mins and the old town in about 25 mins.
Be prepared for some slight disturbance from the cafe below but nothing too raucous.

Yes we have all been through that while trying to find an affordable place to stay. Do yourself a favor and spend that few extra bucks. This apartment is really nice location, cleanliness, responsive and responsible management. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views, great beds and showers
A lovely walk into old town and perfect spot to set of on the Camino trail. Communication with the rental company is very prompt.
A couple of small things stopped it from being amazing (check in requiring key collection from a secondary location and no beachspare towels provided).

This space is beautiful and we enjoyed our time here. We were traveling with my in-laws and there was more than enough space for two couples in the apartment.
Had to pick up keys in a different location which is fine, but not convenient.
Be sure to bring a few of your own necessities such as shampoo, soap, coffee filters, etc. because the apartment isn’t well stocked.

I highly recomend Puka surf school and Ostarte Classic Yacht sailing while in San Sebastian. Amazing memorable trip.

Good starting point for both restaurants and surfing (a cozy family bar right in the house and a surf school next door). very tasteful and quality furnishings and a beautiful view over the beach. We will come back!
