About this villa rental
Villa Emilianya is a stylish, spacious and modern 3 bedroom villa sleeping 6/8 people. The villa is very private in its own fully enclosed grounds with new wall with built in evening lighting. The area of Costa Papagayo is very quiet. The villa is ideal for families, adult groups and also popular for couples who enjoy having space. Wifi & English satellite TV channels, sky sports & Netflix on 65” smart TV are provided along with weekly cleaning. A welcome pack with wine & pool towels are also provided. The spacious grounds include a private electric heated pool which is heated to 27 degrees all year round. There is an outdoor corner sofa under the pergola and new comfortable cushioned sun loungers & outdoor dining area for six to eight people. There are stunning Mountain View’s from the huge terrace & the south facing terrace receives sun all day. The villa is only a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the fabulous Dorada beach and Playa Blanca promenade. The town centre is 20 minutes walk or 25 minutes to the stunning Rubicon marina. The villa is stylish and beautifully furnished with fitted kitchen with separate dining area. There is private car parking, a huge terrace, beautiful electric heated pool ( 8m by 3m) with Romanesque style steps. There is an outside shower and picon garden area with Canarian style BBQ, cactus, flowers, aloe vera bougainvilleas and palm trees. The pool is heated to 27 degrees all year round. The villa has a master bedroom wuth queen size bed and a stunning marble en suite and two further twin bedrooms with a family bathroom. There is also a sofa bed in the dining room which could accommodate a further two people so the villa could sleep 8 in total. Travel cot and high chair are available free of charge. Playa Blanca is beautiful, stunning beaches are within walking distance and the town centre promenade offers a fabulous variety of restaurants, shops, and other local amenities. Me and my husband stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. Great location as its walking distance to the beach and restaurants but we hired a car so the best of both worlds.
Lovely comfy beds and everything you need for your stay, we ate out but used the bbq a few times which was great.
The outdoor space is perfect and I loved sitting having my coffee waiting for the sun to come up. Pool was a great size and perfect temperature.
We had an issue with the water one evening but this was resolved quickly Thanks again for a lovely stay hopefully we’ll be back 😊

A well appointed 3 bedroom villa. En-suite with bath a real bonus. The large outside space was great for my 2 1/2 year old. The location is a good 10 min walk from the beach how ever there was a generous size parking bay for a hire car so made it ideal to drive down. Playa Blanca offers everything a small / young family needs. The pool was checked twice and sheets changed once during a 10 day stay. Contact with the host was prompt and very friendly. Both cats were a pleasure to be around. Highlights were very comfy beds, fantastic pool including sturdy and decent sun beds. I can agree that there was a local dog that would bark from 5/6pm every night till 9ish but didn’t affect us at all when we went to bed. Other than that a lovely quiet part of playa Blanca. Would stay again. Plenty of space for 3 adult and 1 child.

Great Villa, lots of outdoor space, lovely heated pool, great gazebo area to helps shade from the heat of the midday sun, great wi-if and fully equipped kitchen.
Great communication with owners.
The Villa is 25 minutes walk into the centre for Bars and Restaurants, which was great for us, helps walk off dinner.
Recommend this place.

Anyone choosing this accommodation will be challenged to find anything nicer. Absolutely gorgeous, clean, spacious & very much like home from home with the added bonus of the pool. Facilities/kitchen resources well planned. Management & cleaning staff very efficient & accommodating & the cats Kit & Sandy are loving & affectionate. Owners are also very helpful answering any question to help you enjoy your stay…overall..love it!!

The villa was comfortable & conveniently located with lovely views to distant mountains . Good size pool area and attractive planting.Loved the large palm with the sound of the breeze rusting thru its branches .
Well equiped kitchen and untility room. Beds linen was changed mid stay.

The villa owner ,Catherine was in touch with information & provided personal advice on where to eat when asked.
We made friends with the villa cats who checked they were welcome before coming into the villa to say hello. My daughter spoilt them with treats and Kit enjoyed being brushed.
Overall, a lovely stay ,and my 85 yr old mother had a wonderful time .

Had an amazing stay at this villa. Lovely and clean, up to date and lots of plates, glasses, pillows, etc.
There was a lovely welcome back when we got there and it was great that you could check in from 1pm.
Great communication with owner and manager and when toaster broke it was resolved very quickly.
Loved Kit (the cat). He was very friendly and part of the family if you wanted him to be.
Great pool and outdoor space and welcome padding to go on the sun loungers.
Walk to the beach was 25 mins (but I’m slow!) and relatively flat so great for me who has mobility problems. There was a local supermarket 10-15 mins walk which was also convenient.
I would definitively use the villa again.

From the communication from Catherine, to the checking in and out and to the Villa it's self, was all just amazing.

A wonderful villa, private and peaceful from a great host. The perfect position makes it ideal to walk to either the marina or the old town in the evenings. The villa was gorgeous. Everything that you need including fans etc inside and a lovely pool and shaded eating area where we spent most of our time tbh. Thanks to Catherine (and Kit the cat) for letting us stay and making it a holiday to remember!!

Excellent process from start to finish, open communication with the owner. Outdoor area absolutely beautiful, just what you need for those hot afternoons. Facilities within the villa are basic, but just what you need for your stay. The bedrooms do not have air-con so nights are uncomfortable with little respite from the heat. Although a morning dip in the pool brings that.
A 15-20 minute walk to the promenade where you can decide to go left to the marina or right to main area of bars, shops and restaurants.

What a lovely villa! The whole process was very smooth - the villa was roomy, clean and had everything we needed! Communication with Catherine was excellent and the welcome information was very useful! We loved having Kit the cat as part of the family for the week!

Communication with the owner could not be faulted. There are two resident cats, one very timid and did not come in the other was so friendly, I actually miss him following me around for attention and loving. He was also very gentle with our baby.
The baby travel cot was perfect as were the high chairs, the one left for us was a little too big as our baby was just 5 months old, however there was another in the utility which we could then utilise and was perfect for us.
The pergola was great for the baby as we could use the cushions from the sunbeds on the floor so he could play on the floor in the shade.
Looking forward to returning one day.

Beautiful villa
We had a relaxing week in this spacious villa. It is in a quiet location about a 30 minute walk to the Rubicon marina and slightly less to the old town. We walked down and would get a taxi back which was about 3 euros. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Everything was clean and spotless. Catherine the host was excellent from booking to arriving, always quick to reply to any questions we had. Kit the resident cat made us feel at home as we love our cats. He is so friendly and affectionate and made himself at home with us. He has a beautiful friend Sandy who is very timid but got braver has the week went on. There is a large sheltered private outside area with a good sized heated pool and plenty of garden furniture with comfy sunbeds. To sum it up we had a lovely week here and would definitely return.

Lovely villa in quiet location.
Lovely villa, perfect for 2 of us to get some winter sun. It's a pleasant and flat 1 mile walk from Dorada Beach, took us 25mins at a gentle pace. Another 10mins along the front to Marina.
Kitchen well appointed, oven/hob really good. Loads of fridge space. Hot water was plentiful and properly hot, no problems at all. Showers good quality and nice to have the option of a bath.
Outside area private, very spacious and attractively landscaped. Pool 8m x 4m was fine size for us, useful for families to know it's 1.55m deepest. Nice temp too, warmer than the air temp. Lots of seating outside and 8 loungers if needed.
Beds were extremely comfortable which was a nice surprise so slept really well. Loads of storage space for clothes etc in all bedrooms.
Ideal for 1 or 2 couples or family of up to 6. Would be a squeeze for 8.
Communication with owner Catherine was first class throughout and Terry our local contact also great and a nice chap too.
We stayed for 18 nights Feb/Mar and used the main, large supermarket near the Airport 3 times for a "big shop". It's about 30min drive away and is far better for self-catering than the local ones which are OK for top ups.
We would definitely recommend the villa, we had a lovely holiday so thanks to Catherine and also Terry.

Excellent Villa and location
Our family stayed at the Villa for four weeks in November. In simple terms the property was excellent, it was exactly as described. However the pool description does not do it justice, it is a really great addition to the property and somewhere we spent evenings enjoying the November good weather. We would highly recommend the property, the location and owners.

Good Value Villa
The property was situated in a very quiet location, but just 30 minutes walk to the restaurants and nightlife. All of the restaurants that we visited had not only excellent food, but either a sea or harbour view. The nightlife ranged from cocktail bars with singers to bars with live bands. All in all an excellent location.

Lovely spacious villa
Visited Playa Blanca a number of times but not stayed in this area, found it to be very convenient and quiet yet only a few minutes to the beach and marina. Villa was very clean and as described online, outside area spacious with a lovely garden area and plenty of seating. One of the best pools we've had during our visits, really clean and heated during our stay.
Great communication with Catherine, the owner, and Terry the villa manager who responded quickly when we contacted him, very helpful. Would be more than happy to stay here again, all the family enjoyed a very relaxing holiday.

Beautiful Lanzarote
We have recently returned home from our holiday in Lanzarote. Catherine, the villa owner could not have been more helpful and kept in touch to see if we needed help with anything which was amazing. We even had a resident cat which was lovely as we are very pet/animal orientated. Terry, the pool man and his wife were great, very friendly and helpful. The villa was beautiful, very private, with an amazing pool. It’s not far from the restaurants and bars and is a very pleasant 10 minute walk. We will definitely be returning to Lanzarote and to this villa (if available) 😁

We were really looking forward to our holiday this year, and I raised concerns we had about the villa cat before booking, but was assured by Catherine, so went ahead with the booking.
Opening the door to the villa the smell of cat urine was overpowering especially in the kitchen, which we found disgusting (a cat flap allowed the cat to come and go)- there was cat fur all over the cushions on the outside furniture, the ‘mature’ garden was very overgrown ( we had to cut back cactus and plants ourselves to get to the bar-b-q) there were several bowls of wet cat food outside- this was encouraging all the stray cats in playa blanca to constantly come into the garden and do their business and If we left a door or window open ,a cat was straight in to try and mark their territory inside- it was horrendous - we tried several times to ask the owners for a refund so we could go elsewhere, but after explaining our issues, and sending photos of 6/7 of the cats we were just ignored. Also there was no air con as was advertised when we booked. We had to lock passports etc in our suitcases as safe was locked closed,
the garden sun umbrella was tatty and full of holes, the crockery cupboard smelt very musty and needed a good clean and I had to buy a frying pan as the ones to use in the villa were dirty and very old and shabby.
Overall this villa is overpriced.
-has a big stray cat problem.
-is in need of some tlc- inside and out.
-has no aircon- just old rusty fans.
-the owners are very rude and uncaring and only care about taking and keeping your money.
I will be taking this further, as our much needed holiday was ruined.

Nice villa in excellent location. Very near to the playa Blanca beach and restaurants. Heated pool was excellent and temperature was maintained perfectly. Owner of the villa responded to all the queries very promptly. It would have been nice if dish washing liquid, Cleaning scrounge and bin covers were provided.

Great Villa, Great Location
We have just returned from a great week away in Playa Blanca staying in this great villa. From the moment we booked the Villa the owner was in touch with all the information we needed for our stay. On arrival there were no problems with access and the Villa was clean and tidy and ready for our stay. The villa has got a nice pool and patio area with sufficient tables, chairs and sun lounges with towels available to use during the stay.
The location is approximately a 20 minute walk the the main restaurants and bars, which was fine with us as we enjoy walking and we got a taxi back for around 5 Euro including a tip.
On the whole a great place to stay and we will be returning when we can, thank you for a great holiday.

Fantastic holiday
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the villa and I can quite honestly say that we didn't want to leave. The villa was beautiful. Clean, fresh and tastefully decorated throughout. Communications with Catherine leading up to the holiday were great and once we arrived we had Terry on hand (although we didn't need to contact him). We also made friends with Kitty, the little kitten who has made himself at home and this just added to the experience. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Probably our best family holiday
The property was bright, clean, spacious and well-located. The pool was larger and deeper than we expected, and there was lots of space around the patio area. It was also private and quiet. The location was ideal as we did not want to be too central (15 minute walk to town and the nearest beach). Costa Dorada was immaculate and one of the best beaches we've been to - safe, family-friendly, clean, well-tended and very picturesque. It was a 3 minute drive (or a 15 minute walk). The Papagayo beaches are a 10-15 minute drive (mostly on a rough road), can be walked in around 40 minutes and run in around 20 minutes (along the stunning promenade - daddy's morning run!). The truest test of a good holiday is if you miss the place. We miss being there, and would like to thank Catherine for allowing us to stay in her villa. Thank you - BIG TIME!

Great Break
Thank you so much to Catherine, we had a lovely stay in Playa Blanca. The villa was in a perfect location for us, walking distance to both the Marina & Playa Blanca main strip.
The villa was well equipped, beautifully decorated & well maintained. Terry was on hand for anything we needed over the holiday (although we didn’t really need anything !), and the pool was AMAZING - this was our 4th trip to Lanzarote and other villas we’d stayed at the pool had been freezing, but this one was perfect !!
I’m glad Catherine had pre-warned us about the local friendly cats, cause not being cat people, without the heads up I think we might of struggled with this as you needed to keep the doors/windows closed if you didn’t want visitors in the villa. As it was we made friends with Luna and didn’t find the cats too much of a bother.

Fantastic property
Fantastic property for couples or families. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Catherine sent lots of useful information before our stay and Terry couldn't have been more helpful while we were there. Good walk into the centre of Playa Blanca either during the day to look around or in the evening for a meal. We also had a car which was useful but wouldn't be a necessity.
