Host response. He communicated effectively. Parking on site. Janitor available on site. What I booked is what I got. No surprises. Extra effort from Mr Islam to arrange for power cord . Hot water. Super close to the raw beach . Of umluj . Big room sizes. Comfy beds
Nothing in particular.

The location is convenient for getting quickly to swimming and snorkeling spots by car. The area looks a bit dismissed but Umluj is not beautiful, either. The colour of the sea is awesome, but for swimming the water is too shallow. The tents are comfortable, despite the lack of a fridge ( important in the summer) and wifi, and the staff is awesome, Hilal and Mustafa are fantastic persons, helpful and friendly, they do the best to communicate and help people. They let us use the fridge and shared wifi when we needed. They are the added value to the place
A fridge and wifi would add a lot to the comfort

Not a good experience. No Breakfast or dinner arrangement. Lot of fly insects in the air, Central sitting area tent was fallen down. Area not cleaned. Tent is too hot in day time.
Access to location is difficult & confusing.. No board found for direction. No board on on Resort. Inside resort, all was looking un managed .

It was a nice experience with the traditional environment. And also the caretaker was a very nice and welcoming kind of person with a very nice smiley face.

Great price and a fascinating place

Nice scenery - the Beduin-style camp, with a central area with seating and other common facilities, surrounded by 'permanent tents'. Nice host, location is easy to find.
Firstly the location is so-so, like everything in this part of the world. Ok if you want to walk on the beach, swim around, etc., but not much else going on. Also, the beach is some minutes away from the 'Permanent camp', either a short walk or better, let your car take you to the beach next to the Wave hotel, much better for swiming :)
No tourist-relevant facilities on site (e.g. cattle to make some tea or coffee, fridge with some colas...).
No tourist-relevant facilities around the site (e.g. restaurant, caffe, etc.). Like everything in Saudi Arabia - you need a car to get anything :)

Quite authentic as a permanent camp with some additional comfort. However, they could invest to have some entertainment (as they have a nice central common area) or coffee to be offered since there is nothing around.
Service is bad. Location is also bad. Did not provide towels. Property should make it clear that payment MUST be in cash. Also, i felt they could be more flexible as the payment was still going to be made and consider to adjust the rate - the one i paid was the double of the one available right the same day - owner was inflexible to adjust or find a middle term. Price a little outrageous as they do not offer even a breakfast or coffee.

The staff was super friendly, they even sent somebody to the highway to fetch me, as it is a bit tricky to find. The decoration in the camp and how it is set up, is charming

Very nice host. I was upgraded for free, because there were no other guests. They try to fulfill all your wishes. Nice seating area with pillows outside.
Location is a little far from the center.

Unique atmosphere, clean and well organized place, in the silence and a few steps from the beach.

nice experience in beautiful surroundings (apart from the omnipresent trash)

The staff Mr Hilal was so nice to give us welcome drinks. He helped to solve the issues. The tent was with air conditioner which was good during the day if we wanted to stay inside tent. The outside sitting area was comfortable. We met some new friends there. The camp is close to the Red Sea. We watched the sunset right outside the camp the first day. The second day we drove to the beach from the camp (2min driving)and watched a beautiful sunset. Because the camp is still a little distant from the beach, during night after the wind becomes weaker, you will find mosquitoes. So be prepared. Not a big deal if you have a mosquito spray. Overall we were pleased with this place.
